IoT based Agri Soil Maintenance Through Micro-Nutrients and Protection of Crops from Excess Water 基于物联网的微量养分农业土壤维护和作物水分过剩保护

Internet of Things is being used in Smart Agriculture, generally for irrigation purpose. Here, for managing the water log in farmland, IoT is used. The soil moisture in the farmland is monitored using the soil moisture sensor. When the moisture level reaches a particular point, the Cloud Service Brokerage commands the relay to switch ON the suction motor. The suction motor takes out the excess water from the farmland. Our objective with this proposal is to manage the excess water log in the farmland and analyse the availability of micronutrients using IoT. This water managing system is semi-automated in which the system can work on its own or be controlled using a mobile application. Using the DHT sensor readings, the weather at that specific location can be analysed and it can be predicted for the next 10 days with the use of a prediction algorithm. IoT is the concept of connecting all the devices to the Internet and allowing them to communicate with each other over the internet. IoT is a huge network of connected devices – all of which gather and share data about how they are used and the environments in which they are operated. IoT is an application of modern Information and Communication Technologies into agriculture. Sensors are used to build a crop monitoring system. This can be monitored using a mobile application. The application is used to monitor and control the motor switch.

Classification of Grape Leaves using KNN and SVM Classifiers 基于KNN和SVM分类器的葡萄叶片分类

As it is known, in today’s world gross domestic product (GDP) determines the prosperity of a nation. Agriculture directly adds to the GDP, subsequently incredible endeavors are to be made for its advancement. Automation is the key for the development of agriculture as there is lack of specialists in this field. So, automation will be a boon for farmers to prevent their plants from diseases and increase the yield. The proposed work includes applying techniques of image processing to automatically classify grape leaves in to healthy and non-healthy. Features such as color and texture are obtained from the leaf image and classifiers such as K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are used to classify the given grape leaf. It is discovered that for real time images, KNN (for K=1) gives better accuracy compared with SVM. The accuracy of proposed system is accomplished as 90% for SVM classifier and 96.66% for KNN classifier.

Single Phase AC-DC Cascaded Boost-SEPIC (CBS) Converter for Improved Power Quality at High Duty Cycle 用于提高高占空比下电能质量的单相AC-DC级联Boost-SEPIC (CBS)变换器

Modern day-to-day devices also use an AC source as an input while working with DC voltage. An AC-DC converter is used to get an effective and versatile DC output. Without sacrificing conversion efficiency, however, traditional converters are not suitable for high voltage output. Within this paper a new topology called the Cascaded Boost-SEPIC (CBS) converter is suggested. The converter is validated on the basis of conversion efficiency, minimum THD and maximum power factor. The results obtained evinces the improvement achieved in the power quality.

Revolutionary changes are brought in all aspects of life, which made life easier through smart solutions. Smart solutions have been adopted by industries in making their processes more robust and efficient. The improvements in the sector entail more technical challenges for the industry. One of the major technical issues that need to be addressed in the industry is security and privacy. In this paper considering the constrained environment, we try to review the blockchain solutions that can be integrated within an industrial environment, as a defence against security challenges that ensures privacy, availability, and confidentiality.

Arduino based Virtual Keyboard for Locked-in-Syndrome 基于Arduino的锁定综合征虚拟键盘

Locked in Syndrome, is a disorder where, a victim is familiar with the surroundings but unable to react due to loss of ability to move some voluntary muscles in the body except eye movements and eye blinking. Such persons who are facing this condition can neither be able to speak nor could they communicate and interact with others. These patients woul d be awake and aware of the surroundings, he could think, but unable to express his thoughts to words. Attimo keyboard is the solution where these persons can able to communicate with others with the help of it. It is a virtual keyboard designed to work on the basis of eye blinks which are served as inputs.

Detection and Segmentation of Breast Tumor from MRI Images Using Image Processing Techniques 利用图像处理技术从MRI图像中检测和分割乳腺肿瘤

In medical image processing, segmentation plays an important role in the identification of breast tumors and has recently been performed with AI. But the same result can be achieved using different image processing tools in combined and successively. This proposed work advances an image processing based automated identification of breast tumors from MRI images. In the proposed method otsu’s thresholding segmentation is used with different image processing steps to identify the desired regions of interests’ from the MRI images. Results obtained in this research study prove that the accuracy rate has been increased compared to other existing approaches and human intervention is not necessary which means no calibration of processing parameters is essential.

Mitigation of Photovoltaic Solar System Harmonics using Shunt Active Power Filter 并联有源电力滤波器对光伏太阳能系统谐波的抑制

Modern power systems are equipped with green and renewable energy resources; one among them is Photovoltaic solar generating plant. This article aims at extracting maximum power from the solar power plant at various loading conditions, using maximum power point tracking algorithm. Solar plant output is fed to boost converter to enhance the dc output voltage. The increased dc voltage is fed to the three phase five level voltage source inverter to transform dc voltage into ac voltage. Inverter operation introduces harmonics into the system. Hence, this article also focuses on implementation of the active filter to minimize the harmonics introduced by the inverter into the system. The work progresses in two parts, one is stand alone photovoltaic solar system and the second is solar system tied to the grid. The active filter is designed and implemented using MATLAB Simulink for both of the systems to mitigate harmonics. Fast Fourier analysis has been used to obtain the total harmonic distortion in both the systems. The result shows the tremendous improvement in mitigation of system harmonics.

Classification of Multi-Lead ECG Signals to Predict Myocardial Infarction Using CNN 基于CNN的多导联心电信号分类预测心肌梗死

Myocardial infarction (MI) which causes the damage to heart muscles and it lead to the critical stage of death. However the efficacious diagnosis of myocardial infarction (heart attacks) is needed for the healthy life of human. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is utilized to diagnose MI. A genuine time signal provides the electrical activities that are the subsidiary information about the functioning of heart. The expeditious and precise diagnose of MI need to be done with artificial intelligence based on computer aided techniques. In this paper, a multi layer deep convolutional neural network structure is proposed along with the data augmentation technique for the prediction of myocardial infarction. Furthermore, the implementation is done by using GPU version. When it comes to training and developing the new models and algorithms, the performance is determined by means of training and testing speed. Since GPU processor have been used to increase the computations speed and it also scales better then CPU.

Web assisted online Children's rural intelligent travel framework based on virtual cloud computing and VR is designed in this manuscript. Virtual reality technology refers to the computer, sensor technology, artificial intelligence, multimedia and some other technologies combined to generate general human-computer interaction technology. Based on this technology, this paper proposes the novel rural intelligent travel framework. The green mountains and rivers in the countryside make urban residents yearn endlessly. The data mining, VR and the intelligent system are combined for the systematic design. The experimental results have proven the effectiveness.
本文设计了基于虚拟云计算和虚拟现实技术的Web辅助在线儿童农村智能出行框架。虚拟现实技术是指将计算机、传感器技术、人工智能、多媒体等一些技术相结合而产生的通用人机交互技术。基于该技术,提出了一种新型的农村智能出行框架。乡村的青山绿水,让城里人无限向往。将数据挖掘、虚拟现实和智能系统相结合进行系统设计。实验结果证明了该方法的有效性。
