The world is paralyzed. In the beginning of 2020, the earth is attacked by COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has a massive impact towards all sectors in human daily life. All communication way shift to online communication include teaching and learning process. This research was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of remote learning in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic. This research applied qualitative method. The subject of this research are the English department students of a state university in Makassar, Indonesia. Open-response questionnaire was chosen as the instrument to gain the data. Thus, the pandemic of COVID-19, the researcher spread the questionnaire through Google Form. From the questionnaire, the result showed that the majority of students did not like remote learning. They did not enjoy the teaching and learning program such as discussion class or when they wanted to communicate with their friends and lecturers. There felt some obstacles in creating a real teaching and learning English condition through remote learning due to the unsupported device and unstable internet networks. It can be concluded that Indonesia has not ready yet to apply the remote learning as the standard learning system due to the uneven welfare and the spread of stable internet networks. This condition also possible drives students to some psychological disorders such as anxiety and under pressure. The lesson learned from this COVID-19 pandemic will make the next generation, remote learning platforms, and solutions for future cases more ready and better than today.

Riba is a part of economic activity that has been developing since the era of jahiliyah until now. This interest-based lending and borrowing system is very beneficial for capital owners and on the other hand has plunged the poor into destitution. Therefore, Islam prohibits the practice of riba and fosters the shadaqah tradition so that no one is persecuted due to riba. The issue of the similarity between the practice of riba and usury which is forbidden in the Qur'an and the hadith is difficult to refute when viewed from the size of the harm it causes. However, the understanding of the Muslim community towards the concept of riba and its equality is not evenly distributed, so that many Muslims still converge with conventional banks that use the interest system in all aspects of their lives, including in collecting funds for the pilgrimage. Therefore, the author will describe the meaning of riba, the types of practice in today's life by using an approach and analysis of the sources of Islamic teachings.

The use of various teaching methods allows the teachers to accommodate the different learning styles of the students and allow the students to be active learners and to understand the subjects better as well as to be motivated to learn more. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was the first perfect teacher and instructor, and one of his duties was to teach people the revelations that he received from Allah. He selected the best and most effective brilliant methods of teaching, thus helping the listener to clearly understand and remember the knowledge he taught. The learning-teaching methods of the Prophet Muhammad were extracted from his education activities such as face- to-face lecturer, writing method, Question-Answer method, teaching by practice, practical lessoning, brainstorming, and drawing to teach the foundations of Islam. Learning-teaching methods and techniques that the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) used in spreading his mission were proven to be effective and successful by applying them in today’s educational understanding of veterinary anatomy.

Education character has become an important issue in the world of education lately, with the increasing and varied phenomena of moral decadence occurring in society and in government circles, especially among students. The government pays less attention to fostering education character. The government is more focused on continuous curriculum reform. This condition will get worse if the government, parents and schools or madrasah receive less serious attention. Sufistic education character is an important approach to be applied to overcome these moral decadency phenomena. Therefore, this study aims to provide alternative solutions in realizing children's education character both in the family environment, school environment and social environment. In addition, in this study the author offers several concepts of education character with the Sufistic character of al-Ghazali as in the book of Mohajul Abidin: first, preserving the eyes. The use of Antibiotics Growth Promoters (AGP) was once a reliance for Broiler farms that aim to improve immunity as well as trigger the growth of broiler. It turned out that the use of AGP elicit a variety of very harmful impacts on human’s health, the presence of residues of antibiotics in broiler meat will reduce resistance of humans who consume them to some types of antibiotics even antibiotics that are prepared to handle the case of multi-resistant bacteria, namely the presence of antibiotic residues in broiler meat that will reduce the resistance of humans who consume them. So no longer impervious to some antibiotics even antibiotics that are prepared to handle the case of multi-resistant bacteria. This has become a limiting factor for the community, especially Muslims who are required to consume foods that are not only halal but bring benefits and do not contain harmful substances as admonitions in the Quran and hadith. This reality requires options to solve problems and answer real problems in people's lives wisely and contextually. Although AGP is required by the broiler, but based on many research results have shown that its role can be substituted with the addition of feed additives such as probiotics, enzymes and herbs as feed quality improvement efforts, included the implementation of biosecurity which must be carried out in an integrated manner. Broiler farms that implement good industry management has proved able to guarantee the availability of broiler as a source of animal protein is Safe, Healthy, and Whole Halal (in the Indonesian acronym is ASUH) and has a wide market share. This context be in accordance to the conception of food safety in Islam, food safety from the Islamic normative context namely halal and food safety from the health aspect, namely Thayyib. COVID-19 has wreaked havoc all across the globe, whether it be through the rising number of cases, deaths, lockdowns, economic slowdown or just the media induced panic. In this sense we are all affected by the 'virus'. As the world grapples with this pandemic, there is a notable resonance with the past, especially between the global defense against the pandemic and the great medical innovations of the Islamic golden age. During the Islamic scientific revolution, Muslims became pioneers in the field of medical science. Inspired by the Quran and the various Hadith that consider the science of healing a sacred endeavor, Muslims made ground breaking discoveries in different areas of medicine like anatomy, pharmacology, physiology, surgery, epidemiology and so on. These contributions led to the significant growth in the field of medical science and its various branches and went on to influence the modern medical revolution. In the present survey an effort is made to discuss the historical roots of the global medical response and measures made to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and the various significant contributions of Medieval Muslim scientists in this field.
