This study aimed to know whether the use of Recorded CNN News as Learning Media can or not increase Students’ Listening Skill at eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 18 Makassar. This study used a pre-experimental research method in one class pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was the eleventh-grade students of SMAN 18 Makassar in the 2021/2022 academic year. The samples was numbered 20 students from class XI IPS 1. The data were obtained from the listening test. The results of the study using inferential analysis of t-test by SPSS v.16 application. After analyzing data, the writer concluded that using of Recorded CNN News as learning media can increase students’ listening skill. It can be proved by the average score based on students’ pre-test and post-test. The mean score of the students’ listening increased from 39.90 in pre-test to 83.30 in the post-test. This fact shows that the hypothesis H₁ is accepted and of course the hypothesis H₀ is rejected. It’s mean that Recorded CNN News can increase students’ listening skill at eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 18 Makassar.
本研究旨在了解使用CNN录音新闻作为学习媒体是否能提高SMA Negeri 18望加锡小学11年级学生的听力技能。本研究采用一班前测和后测的实验前研究方法。本研究的人群为2021/2022学年望加锡18中学的11年级学生。数据来自听力测试。本研究结果采用SPSS v.16应用t检验进行推理分析。通过对数据的分析,笔者得出结论:使用CNN录制新闻作为学习媒介可以提高学生的听力技能。这可以通过学生前测和后测的平均分来证明。学生的听力平均分由前测的39.90分提高到后测的83.30分。这一事实表明,假设H₁被接受,当然假设H₀被拒绝。这意味着CNN新闻录音可以提高SMA Negeri 18 Makassar 11年级学生的听力技能。

This study aimed to know the implementation of higher order thinking skills on students’ reading comprehension at SMA Negeri 18 Makassar. This research focused on pre-experimental research with one group pre-test post-test. The population of this research was class XI students of SMA Negeri 18 Makassar in the academic year 2021/2022. Purposive sampling techniques were used to took one class as the research sample, totaling 26 students. The data was obtained in the form of multiple choices of the reading test. After analyzing data, the writer concluded that the implementation of HOTS in reading comprehension can improve students’ reading comprehension. This evidenced by the average score of students during the pre-test and post-test. The mean score of the students in the pre-test (before the action) was 36.53 and the post-test (after the action) was 68.07. These data indicated that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. Based on the data from the analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of higher-order thinking skills can improve students' reading comprehension in class XI Social 4 SMA Negeri 18 Makassar.

The objectives of this study were to find out The Implementation teaching learning planning of 2013 curriculum. The research was qualitative method. The sample of the research was English teachers of SMPN 52 Makassar. The data of this research were collected by using triangulation technique by combining observation, interview, and documentation technique. The writer used observation guidelines sheet in analyzing the data collected and monitor. The writer used interview guidelines and recorder to record the interviews. The obtained data was analyzed in three major phases namely data reduction, data display and conclusion. This Result of this study shows that English teachers has already implemented learning the 2013 curriculum in class well. And then, prepare learning tools are in accordance with the standard 2013 curriculum. It can be proved by formation learning tools.

This research focuses on the students' English vocabulary mastery through wise quotes. The purpose of this research was to find out whether with wise quotes, students' vocabulary understanding will increase or not. This research used a pre-experimental research method by giving a pre-test and post-test. The sample of this research is class VIII.7 SMP Negeri 35 Makassar in the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 20 people. This research uses SPSS v.16 which can show the results of the analysis of a significant increase in test scores and can prove the influence of this research. The results of this study indicate that the significance value is 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, which means that this research has a significant effect. Therefore, it can be concluded that wise quotes have an increasing effect on students' vocabulary comprehension, and it can be seen that through wise quotes, students can become more motivated in the learning process.
本研究关注的是学生通过名言对英语词汇的掌握。本研究的目的是为了找出有智慧的语录是否会增加学生的词汇理解。本研究采用预实验的研究方法,进行前测和后测。本研究的样本为2021/2022学年的VIII.7 SMP Negeri 35 Makassar班,共20人。本研究使用SPSS v.16,可以显示考试成绩显著提高的分析结果,可以证明本研究的影响。本研究结果表明显著性值为0.000,小于0.05,说明本研究具有显著性效果。由此可见,明智的引语对学生的词汇理解有越来越大的作用,可以看出,通过明智的引语,学生在学习过程中会变得更有动力。

The population of this research was the tenth-grade students of SMAN 18 Makassar at the first semester 2021/2022 academic year. The writer took of 270 students as population. The data were obtained from the writing text. The results of the research used inferential analysis of t-test by SPSS v.16, showed that there was a significant enhance in the students’ mean score writing skill between the pretest and posttest. The mean score of the students’ writing enhanced from 51.04 in the pretest to 79.95 in the posttest. The significance value calculated 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (P-value = 0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, the hypothesis of this study was accepted. It means that the use Bandicam Application As Teaching Media Can Enhance students writing skill at SMAN 18 Makassar. In addition, students' motivation after using this media also increased. The research aimed to find out whether the use of outline techniques can increase students’ writing skill in writing paragraph descriptive text of second grade at SMPN 35 Makassar. Design of the research was pre experimental method with three steps such as pre-test, treatment and post-test one class. This research was conducted at SMPN 35 Makassar by deciding second grade as population and choosing class VIII.3 which amount 25 students as a sample. Technique of collecting data was done by giving test. In analyzing the numerical data the writer used SPSS 16. Based on the data analysis, the writer can concluded that use outline technique can increasing students writing skill. It can be proved by the mean score of the students in pre-test and post-test. The results of the research showed that the use of outline technique in writing paragraph significantly increased students writing skill in writing paragraph descriptive after did treatment. The mean score increased from 47,52 in pre-test to 69,80 inpost-test. The writer can conclude that the use of the outline technique can increase students’ writing skill of Second Grade of SMPN 35 Makassar.

This study aimed to find out the improvement of the students speaking skill through implementation dubbing video technique at SMPN 35 Makassar academic year 2020/2021. This study used pre-experimental design with pre-test, treatment, post-test and data analyzed. The data was collected and analyzed from several recording voice from the students in the English classroom. The population of this research was second grade from class VIII.2 which consist 20 students as a sample. This study indicated the result of the used of voice notes and dubbing video short animation movie to improve students’ speaking skills by data analyzed from accuracy and fluency. And the result indicated mean score in pre-test was 56.15 and mean score in post-test was 87.45, it means that was influenced the improvement of students’ speaking skill.

This writing aims to analysis the difference between students’ ability in writing recount text and descriptive text at SMAN 18 Makassar (comparative analysis). The population of this writing was the tenth-grade students of SMAN 18 Makassar at the first semester 2021/2022 academic year. The writer took 270 students as population. The data were obtained from the writing text. The writer choose of class X IPA 3 and the writer took 30 students as a sample. The results of the writing used inferential analysis of t-test by SPSS v.16. It showed that there was a significant difference in the students’ mean score writing ability between recount text and descriptive text. The mean score of the students’ writing test recount text is 82.20 while descriptive text is 76.43. The significance value calculated 0.014 is smaller than 0.05 (P-value = 0.014 < 0.05). Therefore, the hypothesis of these writing was accepted. It means that, there were a Comparative difference of Students’ Writing Ability Between Recount Text and Descriptive Text at SMAN 18 Makassar. The writer concluded, that the students are easier to express ideas, understanding, composed and write a recount text than descriptive text. Based the results above, the writer can difference between students’ ability in writing recount text and descriptive text at SMAN 18 Makassar (comparative analysis).
