Introduction. Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) describes uterine bleeding that varies from the usual parameters of a normal menstrual cycle [3]. AUB is one of the most common gynecologic problems among women of reproductive age. Approximately one-third of women experience AUB at some point in their lives [1]. Purpose of the study. This study aims to explore the prevalence and causes of AUB among Maldivian women of reproductive age who have experienced menstruation. Materials and method. An online questionnaire survey was conducted among reproductive-age Maldivians who have experienced menstruation. The study population was analyzed through exploratory data analysis. Research result. From the data collected, out of 110 participants, 37 (33.6%) individuals reported having irregular menses. Additionally, 22 (20%) individuals experienced menorrhagia. Moreover, 16 (14.5%) reported polymenorrhea, 14 (12.7%) reported amenorrhea and 9 (8.2%) reported oligomenorrhea. According to the data interpreted from the menstrual pictogram, it was observed that among the 35 participants self-reporting heavy menstrual bleeding, merely 20% (7 individuals) actually had a menstrual blood loss (MBL) exceeding 80ml. The average blood loss among these individuals was calculated to be 113 ml, highlighting a notable disparity between subjective perception and objective data. Out of the 68 individuals who reported a normal flow, 4 had a MBL exceeding 80ml, with a mean of 116.19 ml. Moreover, among the entire study group, 44 (40%) participants reported having a diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and 18 (16.4%) individuals reported having ovarian cysts. Furthermore, 2 (1.8%) individuals reported endometriosis, 2 (1.8%) individuals reported having uterine fibroids and, 2 (1.8%) individuals mentioned having cervical polyp, and 1 (0.9%) had an endometrial polyp. Conclusion. Using FIGO system 1 as a gateway to FIGO system 2 simplifies the process of investigating AUB [2]. Based on the criteria set by FIGO system 1, only 46 (41.8%) out of the 110 participants in the study were found to have a normal menstrual cycle. The remaining 64 (58.2%) participants experienced AUB. Out of these 64 (58.2%) participants, a total of 29 individuals have a diagnosis of PCOS. These findings suggest a significant association between AUB and PCOS within the study population.

In the modern world Total Quality Management (TQM) respecting the past ensures the triumph of the future and Artificial Intelligence. Fulfilling the absence in the universal medical journal of multi-organ supportive therapy (MOST) replacement models of the central nervous system, immune and energy system functions, have been completed by describing extracorporeal and intracorporeal prosthetics of immune and energy system functions. Prosthetics, assistive support, and replacement of nervous system function contributed to the foundation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the creation of the robot as an intellect-technocrat combination. Using the Da Vinci robot with four arms, surgeons in Spain performed a lung transplant [3], relevant and timely also in the complications of COVID-19 SARS-CoV-2. As a result, the robot reduced the discrepancy between the predominance of the human and technocratic intellectual factors in the creation of the product useful to humanity. At the foundation of AI is TQM recognized by the scientific community of the modern world and in the context of alternative medicine models as a promoter of science. Thanks to the US development over 40 years of transgenic pig organ transplantation, as a model conceived in Moldova (1984), as an alternative to human donor organs. The prized TQM medicine is successfully assimilated by competitive marketing, in which AI is already included, with an essential social financial role. IA was supported by Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. Thus AI has been considered at the level of the United Nations, the European Union, Japan, China and others. The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen from Great Britain at the First AI Safety Summit in the world, named 4 conditions for ensuring safety in the use of AI. 1) A thriving and independent scientific community equipped to evaluate AI systems, with funding and access to the best supercomputers; 2) Development of internationally recognized procedure and standards for AI safety testing. 3) A standard procedure whereby every significant incident caused by errors or misuse of AI is reported and accounted for. 4) Establishment of a reliable international notification system.

Thus AI has been considered at the level of the United Nations, the European Union, Japan, China and others. The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen from Great Britain at the First AI Safety Summit in the world, named 4 conditions for ensuring safety in the use of AI. 1) A thriving and independent scientific community equipped to evaluate AI systems, with funding and access to the best supercomputers; 2) Development of internationally recognized procedure and standards for AI safety testing. 3) A standard procedure whereby every significant incident caused by errors or misuse of AI is reported and accounted for. 4) Establishment of a reliable international notification system.","PeriodicalId":132909,"journal":{"name":"Special journal of the Medical Academy and other Life Sciences","volume":"100 s1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135539519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dengue is a virus carried by mosquitoes, and it has recently expanded quickly in most Asia countries. The virus is spread mostly by female Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes among the Asian people. Due to high negligence among Asians, the virus was transmitted among everyone till late. Dengue fever is the most widespread arthropod-borne virus impacting humans today, corresponding to public health issues. Because of human negligence, the virus has spread widely to the present day. As a result, dengue fever cases keep increasing. Several reasons contribute to the spread of dengue fever among Asians, primarily their fear of the virus's repercussions. Additionally, increasing migration of people and environmental changes have accelerated the rate of viral propagation. This article discusses the causes, types of dengue fever, modes of transmission, risk factors, clinical symptoms, complications, diagnosis, incubation period, previous years' dengue fever statistics in a few Asian countries, treatments/vaccines, and preventions and controls associated with dengue virus that everyone should know to prevent and stop the virus transmission not only in Asia but all over the world are.

Nigeria holds a concerning position globally concerning preterm births, with statistics indicating an alarmingly high rate of premature births and subsequent neonatal mortalities. This research aims to delve into the prevalence of preterm births across five regions of Nigeria, contextualizing the issue within the nation's healthcare infrastructure and contrasting it with developed nations like the USA and Russia. Observational and comparative analyses were employed from extensive secondary data sources, including the WHO, UNICEF, and more. Findings from various states within the five regions showed a varied prevalence, from 16.9% in Enugu, Southeast Nigeria, to as high as 46.4% in State, South-South Nigeria. The difference in the definition of preterm birth based on gestational age between Nigeria and developed nations underscores the need for improved neonatal healthcare facilities in the country.
