Inventory Management Model Integrating Lean and FLD to Increase Service Level in an Automotive Retail: An Empirical Research in Peru 整合精益与FLD的库存管理模式提升秘鲁汽车零售服务水平的实证研究

The automotive industry has had large participation in the Peruvian economy, as well as a large market penetration; however, there is not optimal retention of these customers, since there is a knowledge gap regarding loyalty strategies, which could impact the level of service offered. It is essential to have good inventory planning and a good distribution of the workshop to meet agreed dates. Also, correct execution of the service, which integrates quality control to avoid problems attributed to defects. This case study proposes a model that integrates Lean Manufacturing, Facility Layout Design, and ABC inventory management, intending to achieve an improvement in the current service. After the implementation of the model, on-time service was increased by 30.55%, reprocessed vehicles were reduced by 6.50%, labor efficiency was increased by 16.66%, open work orders were reduced by 13.79%, and transfer times were reduced by 20.90%.

Electronic Implementation of High Bandwidth Linear Hydraulic Actuator for Legged Robot’s Applications 高带宽线性液压作动器在足式机器人中的电子实现

—The Electro-Hydraulic Actuator (EHA) is widely used in various fields, including but not limited to humanoid robotics, industrial actuators, prosthetics, rehabilitation equipment, and aeronautics. The development of legged robots and robotic systems must consider high dynamics and wide bandwidth. Due to their large bandwidth, electro-hydraulic servo-valves (EHSV) provide a substantial advantage over traditional electro-hydraulic proportional valves. However, some EHSVs' electrical properties can make it difficult to function correctly. To enhance the dynamic performance of EHSV-based actuation systems, this research suggests a novel electronic driver topology. The hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components of the Simscape a toolbox in Matlab-Simulink is used to verify the theoretical study that forms the basis of the proposed driver design. Finally, experimental data from a hydraulic system test bench in a lab are acquired.

Modelling the Spread of HIV/AIDS in India Focusing Commercial Sex Worker 以商业性工作者为重点的印度艾滋病毒/艾滋病传播模型

 Abstract —According to the major reports of the WHO, it has been observed that the female sex workers play an important role in transmission of the HIV/AIDS in India. In this work, we formulate and investigate a nine-dimensional nonlinear model to study the dynamics of HIV/AIDS epidemic considering the female sex workers as one of the most vulnerable groups in transmission of the HIV/AIDS in India. The model which assumes mass action incidence, is analyzed qualitatively to determine the stability of their equilibria. In addition, analysis of these models includes the presentation of the threshold, the basic reproduction number R 0 and numerical simulation that determines whether the diseases dies out or the disease remains endemic.

Theoretical Research and Simulation on Active Control of Assistive Devices in Parkinson’s Disease 帕金森病辅助装置主动控制的理论研究与仿真

— Due to the increase in the number of people affected by Parkinson's disease worldwide, the continuous development of new assistive devices must be accessible, ergonomic and easy to use as possible to facilitate daily activities, leading to the improvement the quality of patient’s life. This work will be presented the methods of reducing Parkinson's disease as well as some of the assistive devices currently available on the market. Following the research of the current state, possible future improvements of these types of equipment will be proposed.

Novel Method for Improving Motion Accuracy of a Large-Scale Industrial Robot to Perform Offline Teaching Based on Gaussian Process Regression 基于高斯过程回归提高大型工业机器人离线教学运动精度的新方法

Industrial robots that can respond to the current needs for variable-type and variable-volume production and that can play a variety of roles such as processing and transporting with a single robot to reduce time and cost. If realized, these robots will help save space in factories and increase production efficiency. However, this requires high positioning accuracy of the robot. In this study, we analyze the motion accuracy of industrial robots and their compensation method to construct this system. Here, we use a laser tracker to measure the coordinates of the hand tip of the robot when the robot is stationary. Subsequently, the error amount in an arbitrary posture is predicted using a Gaussian process. Furthermore, Bayesian optimization is used to efficiently search for points where the positioning error norm is likely to be large, which is then compensated for by a feedback method. This method successfully reduced the time cost of the experiment to approximately one-tenth of that required in the previous study and achieved a correction of approximately 66 %. However, because this method alone does not perform an exhaustive measurement, it is unclear whether all the points predicted to have small errors are so small that they do not require correction. Therefore, future studies, we will aim to verify this issue by considering the time efficiency.

Determining the Arrangement and Cooperative Operating Control of Two Industrial Robots During Wire Driving Tasks Considering Torque Margin and Manipulability Characteristics 考虑转矩裕度和可操纵性特性的两工业机器人线驱动布置与协同操作控制

—When multiple robots perform a task, the user generally arranges the robots based on their working range. However, this criterion alone may place an unnecessarily large load on a robot joints. On the other hand, developments in IoT technology have facilitated the acquisition of servo information from robots and other devices. This information is expected to become increasingly important in the future. In this study, two small multi-joint robots are used to propose a method to determine robot placement based on criteria different from the robot working range. The proposed method is constructed by focusing on the joint torque working on the robot, which can be easily obtained using IoT technology. In addition, focusing on the torque margin and operating force ellipsoid derived from manipulability, we examine the cooperation of two robots to lift a weight that exceeds the range of motion of a single robot exerting a constant external force.

Smoke Detection with Ensemble Modeling 烟雾检测与集成建模

This research aims at investigating performance of the ensemble learning method. The ensemble learning brings together various weak learners to create strong learners. Based on this ensemble learning idea, we develop a model for an efficient smoke detection tool. The three schemes of ensemble learning are investigated including bagging, boosting, and stacking. The bagging ensemble algorithm studied in this research is Random Forest and the boosting algorithm is AdaBoost. The stacking ensemble adopts three algorithms, that are Random Forest, AdaBoost, and Logistic Regression. The other learning algorithms adopted for performance comparison include Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes, and Decision Tree. The smoke detection data contain 62,630 records and 15 features. The dataset has been separated into training set and test set with a ratio of 75:25. The experimental results reveal that AdaBoost outperforms other learning algorithms when applied to the specific smoke detection application domain.

In recent years, electronic devices have become lighter, thinner, shorter, smaller, and more multifunctional, motivating micro drilling technology to become more sophisticated. To meet the demands of electronic applications, this paper proposes a drilling machine tool with a counterbalance vibration control mechanism. In this report, focusing on the timing of table feed rate changes during drilling, drilling experiments were conducted using four drilling paths while changing the table movement direction and feed rate along the machining path. The accuracy of the positions of the drilled holes and condition of the drill edge after drilling were then evaluated.

Green Investment and Price Decisions under the Blockchain Technology Era 区块链时代下的绿色投资与价格决策

Due to the advancement in network technology, consumer behavior has changed gradually. In face of continually developing technology and the upsurge of environmental awareness, the negative environmental impacts generated from the production process and logistics are gradually being valued. In this research, a mathematical model has been built in consideration for a manufacturer with green investments, an online sales platform with blockchain technology, and consumers with environmental awareness in correlation to a supply chain. From the manufacturer’s perspective, decisions on distribution channels, green investment, and pricing will be explored with illustrations of the influence made on the supply chain.

Model of Optimization of Production Based on the Application of Lean Tools to Increase Productivity in Footwear Manufacturing SMEs 基于精益工具提高制鞋中小企业生产率的生产优化模型

The demand for footwear in Peru has increased significantly in recent years even though domestic production has decreased, on the other hand, it has been shown that imports have grown substantially. This shows that the domestic sector has difficulties in offering good quality products, which is directly related to low productivity and lack of innovation. In this sense, an integral Lean-SLP model is proposed based on the combination of tools such as total redesign of facilities, 5s, process standardization, work design, and Jidoka to improve the current productivity of 0.56 generated by deficient and nonstandardized processes. The model was validated through arena software where a cycle time reduction of 42.95% and a productivity increase of 22.5% were obtained. This proposal allows SMEs in the footwear sector to be more competitive in the foreign market by producing shoes of higher quality and therefore better acceptance.
