Basic theoretical propositions which constitute the basis for technique of calculation of electromagnetic system parameters of sensor of protective electronic current transformer with standardized metrological performance under power system transient conditions have been developed. Compliance of metrological performance of sensor with calculated parameters with its value given in calculation was confirmed by simulation modeling.

Particular features of solving the problem of forecasting the reliability of electric machines with long mean time between failures by means of taking into account the state of their basic structural units are considered. The prospect of using mathematical variable-structure reliability models based on joint use of fuzzy logic and neural network provisions is grounded for solution of this problem. It allows taking into consideration the influence of informative parameters characterizing the state of structural units and the environmental conditions.

An important goal of surgical exposure is a fusion of living tissues. The electric welding Institute (PWI) developed the method of welding of soft tissues. Method of welding provides reliability of connection without the use of suture. The developed mathematical model can be applied for rectangular conductors with different conductivity in a wide frequency range.

Electromagnetic circuit of three-phase permanent magnet generator is presented in the paper. This generator works in one-phase operation mode. Field-circuital computational model is shown together with its cross-section. Comparative analysis of calculation results is given, for generator operating with single-phase-load, in one-phase mode when generator windings are connected in series, with three-phase asymmetrical load and three-phase symmetrical load. The waveforms of phase voltages, currents and electromagnetic torque for different load conditions are presented.

The positivity and asymptotic stability of the discrete-time and continuous-time nonlinear systems are addressed. Sufficient conditions for the positivity and asymptotic stability of the nonlinear systems are established. The proposed stability tests are based on an extension of the Lyapunov method to the positive nonlinear systems.
