The paper investigates the possibilities of the genetic programming approach in task of arterial hypertension patients diagnosing. For this purpose, the 3-stage functional clinical study involving the tilt test was performed on two groups: relatively healthy volunteers and patients suffering from the arterial hypertension of II-III degree. The study was focused on the analysis of the 64 features of heart rate variability signals, evaluated by the time-domain, frequency-domain (Fourier and wavelet) and nonlinear methods. Performance of different machine learning approaches was compared: Discriminant Analysis, Nearest Neighbors, Decision Trees and Naive Bayes. All calculations were performed in the in-house software written on Python. The results of genetic programming application show the significant improvement of the classification accuracy over the previously obtained results of search on the non-correlated features space.

The problem of designing bandpass FIR filters by frequency sampling method in case of one frequency sample (transition coefficient) in each transition band is considered. The analytical expressions for calculating these samples are obtained. Samples are calculated on the basis of criterion of minimum of the sum of squared frequency response values in selected points in the stopband. In the general case values of transition coefficients are calculated to be unequal. It is demonstrated that in this case the higher attenuation level in the stopband is achieved in the comparison with the case of transition coefficient values equality. The results of digital modeling shows that obtained expressions allow achieving attenuation, which is close to maximum.

Importance of an investigation of the ESD effects on a printed cictuit board (PCB) bus of spacecraft autonous navigation system is highlighted. Simulation results of the ESD signals propagation along the conductors of the PCB bus are presented. The ESD current source according to the IEC 61000-4-2 was used. The peak voltage of 471 V in the active conductor of the bus with 50 Ohm terminations was obtained. The crosstalk peak voltages in the passive conductors were in the range of 1-32 V.

This paper describes the methodology for validating the results of measuring the electro-physical parameters (complex permittivity and permeability) of reference materials in free space. The initial data for the experiment are the samples measured by the waveguide method. The same samples were used as quasi-lenses for horn antenna for indirect analysis of phase distortions in the opening. Validation technique involves numerical experiments to obtain additional data. Then, a procedure for pairwise reconciliation of the results by event characteristics is implemented. Verification algorithm is based on IEEE standard with features difference measure comparison. The required conclusions are presented, which consist of the justification of the experiment being carried out both in the free space and the transmission line method.

In this paper we propose new attack on dynamic watermark scheme Radix-n widely known as one of the most secure. It was shown that we are able to reveal dynamically allocated memory blocks and then a digital watermark can be discovered by hooking API function calls. During the experiment it was ascertained that often an amount of such structures is low because of widely used optimization. This feature increases a probability of successful attack on dynamic watermark.

We consider the strongly NP-hard problem of partitioning a set of Euclidean points into two clusters so as to minimize the sum over both clusters of the weighted sums of the squared intracluster distances from the elements of the clusters to their centers. The weights of sums are the cardinalities of the clusters. The center of one of the clusters is given as input, while the center of the other cluster is unknown and determined as the average value over all points in the cluster. The variant of the problem in which the cardinalities of the clusters are parts of the input is analyzed. We present and prove a 2-approximation polynomial-time algorithm for this problem.

The aim of the work was to develop new methods for analyzing the charts of chronaximetry, assessing their diagnostic significance in patients with manifestations of neuropathy and stage 1 diabetic foot syndrome according to Wagner classification in comparison with a group of practically healthy individuals. We have been revealed insufficient diagnostic information, when standard indicators of the chronaximetry schedules were applied. The informativeness of these same chronaximetry schedules was estimated for new indicators. The obtained results point to the high diagnostic significance of the new criteria for the quantitative evaluation of denervation processes in diabetic neuropathy.

Many digital healthcare services now follow the cybermedicine approach. The Internet is used to deliver such services as medical consultations, diagnosis, and prescriptions. Mobile services provide end-users (patients) with online and personalized access to consultations and treatment with other end-users (medical professionals). Services become social, taking into account the activity of patients and their collaborative work (in participation with medical professionals and other interested parties). In this paper, we discuss the opportunities that Internet of Things (IoT) provides to the cybermedicine development. Parkinson's disease (PD) serves as a case study, which we use to motivate the effective IoT use for human involvement into healthcare processes such as disease progress prevention, therapy, people mutual support, and social patient rehabilitation. We define several research problems for developing new models, algorithms, and methods within overlapping domains of healthcare, data engineering, and IoT technology.
