To assess the development of skills by medical students in radiology and diagnostic imaging in a cross-sectional way in undergraduate medicine in an integrated and interdisciplinary curriculum. This is a quantitative, analytical, and expository cross-sectional study, through the application of a structured questionnaire on the radiological themes developed in the axis that has as practical support the Morphofunctional Laboratory, with students from the 1st, 5th and 8th semester of the medical course at the Centro Universitário Metropolitano da Amazônia (UNIFAMAZ), Belém, PA – Brazil. For the elaboration of the result of the present study, the analysis of 93 applied questionnaires was used, respecting the selection criterion, in which the questionnaire should contain the Free and Informed Consent Term duly completed and signed, of which 15 already had a previous graduation. The students at each end of the application of the questionnaire were more confident during the semesters, represented by the increasing average of correct answers over the semesters, and, in this way, corroborating the evolution of the students in the resolution and reasoning of the proposed questions. The information obtained from the medical students evaluated in the study corroborate that problem-based learning facilitates and assists in the process of obtaining knowledge, through the morphofunctional components of the course used to approach radiology and diagnostic imaging with a view multidimensional in addition to the role of complementary examination methods.

In this research, the breaker index equations are formulated using the kinematic free surface boundary condition. By substituting the potential velocity equation for the solution of Laplace's equation in this equation, it is obtained the wave amplitude function equation. From the wave amplitude function equation two breaker indices are extracted, they are the breaker length index which is the ratio between the breaker height and the breaker length; and the breaker depth index which is the ratio between the breaker height and the breaker depth. The next breaker index, which is a ratio between breaker depth and breaker length, is obtained from the wave number conservation law. Consistency testing of the three breaker index equations obtained shows that there is consistency in the three equations. Consistency testing is done by using the connectivity equation, where a breaker index is the product of the multiplication of the other two breaker indexes. The breaker height index, which is the ratio between the breaker height and the deep water wave height, is obtained by substituting the breaker length index in the energy conservation equation. Thus the breaker height equation is obtained which works a function of the breaker length at the breaking point. With the availability of the four breaker indexes, the breaking parameter can be calculated easily.

The search for constructive forms that are less aggressive to the environment has become increasingly relevant, in view of the scarcity of natural resources and population growth. With the current energy and environmental scenario in the world, it is possible to say that the situation is delicate, given the demand for energy by the population and the dependence on exhaustible natural resources and polluting the environment for it to be produced. This exacerbated use of energy can be related to the generation of artificial air conditioning for the thermal comfort of the inhabitants. In order to mitigate energy consumption inside buildings, this study aims to analyze the internal temperature of the environment after inserting the corn stalk inside the empty spaces of the concrete block used for conventional masonry. To verify the thermal performance of the concrete block filled with corn stalks, 5 prototypes were built with different constituent materials, and the internal temperatures were recorded using datalogger devices. The temperature analyzes took place in the spring, in the months of October and November, totaling 39 days of data collection, and through these data, it was possible to identify that yes, the junction of the manually molded concrete block and the filling of the corn stalk showed an improvement in the internal thermal performance in the prototypes built with this material.

Photosynthesis is the main metabolic process for guaranteeing life on earth, through energy transfer relationships in the food chain. Studying this magnificent process is an immense privilege for those who have it. Nowadays, the carbon balance has gained a lot of space regarding the photosynthetic characterization of species, but its use can mask the real results of photosynthesis, which by the way is a process of energy production and transport. Therefore, this work aimed to develop a logical reasoning, through simple equations, to calculate the energy produced during the species cycles of C3 and C4 metabolisms, based on the volume of water absorbed and transpired by the plant.

In this work, the process sequence optimization for double quantum well structure with compound materials AlAsSb/In0.59Ga0.41As/GaAs0.53Sb0.47 is discussed for fabrication purposes. The optimized parameters of the sequences are selected based on the literature study of the materials properties, nanoscale engineering and MBE growth parameters. The thickness of the material layers in the heterostructure is under our control. This is a significant benefit of heterostructures for device construction. In order for uniform epitaxial growth of ternary material AlAsSb, InGaAs and GaAsSb, the deposition time is chosen very slow i.e. 0.5 micrometers per hour during the process in the MBE.

Mauritia flexuosa, known as ‘buriti’, is an excellent source of bioactive compounds with antioxidant, hypolipidaemic, sun protection, antiplatelet, antithrombotic, hypoglycaemic, antimicrobial and antitumour properties. Considering these properties, it could be used as a therapeutic for conditions that affect the mouth, such as ulcerations and erythema. Among the oral conditions, we can mention oral mucositis, which is characterised by erythema, atrophy and ulceration of the mucous membrane. Thus, this work aimed to develop a phytotherapeutic pharmaceutical formulation for oral application that contains 5% buriti oil as the active ingredient. Five formulations were developed, and one (F5) of the formulations was chosen and subjected to organoleptic and physicochemical analysis (pH, density, and high-performance liquid crhromatography - HPLC), and later to a 3-month stability study in an accelerated climactic chamber. The initially obtained gel/cream was stable according to the tests to which it was submitted. However, after storage for 3 months, it showed a markedly reduced density, indicating the loss of volatile compounds, possibly vitamins A and E. Overall, the gel/cream formulated with buriti oil displays characteristics that make it potentially suitable for the treatment of oral ulcerations such as oral mucositis.

This is the reason for the growth of the domestic coffee shop industry. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality, price on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. In addition to testing the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and testing the role of customer satisfaction in mediating the effect of service quality, price (price) on customer loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory method, namely in the research being conducted is to explain the symptoms that arise in a research subject. The data analysis technique of this study used Amos' SEM, where the findings of this study were that service quality and price had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at Grind & Pull, Makassar.

The achievement of specialist formation necessitates students to be highly determined in order to take part actively in the learning and honing of skills. This article investigates how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help increase student commitment during their preparation for a specialized field. It is proposed that AI-powered technologies such as virtual assistants, intelligent tutoring systems, and algorithms are able to provide personalized feedbacks, adaptable evaluations, and individualized curriculums which address each learner's particular needs and preferences1. The paper surveys empirical studies as well as theoretical frameworks which present evidence on the advantageous effects of AI on motivation among students including autonomy, competency, and relatedness along with other factors. Moreover; it also delves into possible ethical issues associated with utilizing AI to boost student enthusiasm like data security or algorithmic bias – both must be taken into account carefully so that its integration into education can be done responsibly yet fruitfully. In conclusion; this abstract highlights the necessity for additional research alongside partnership between educators/ researchers/ developers who use AI technology if we want to make full use out of it while stimulating motivation amongst learners thus enabling successful realization of specialist formation objectives.
