Technology acceptance and satisfaction refers to the application effect and user experience of technology. Understanding student acceptance and satisfaction with technology can help optimize educational tools and methods, improve the effectiveness of teaching strategies, and enhance learning outcomes. However, relatively little attention has been paid to students’ learning experiences, including technology acceptan ce and satisfaction. Therefore, the quantitative methodology was used in this research to explore 60 English as a foreign language (EFL) college students’ learning experience through questionnaires. The results showed that students’ technology acceptance w as moderate and some students still faced some barriers when using the software. Furthermore, students had a high level of satisfaction when using the platform. They had a positive attitude towards the effectiveness of teachers’ teaching, but they were less satisfied with the function of the software and its role in improving learning interest. Therefore, cultivating students’ digital literacy is still an issue that needs attention in future education. All parties involved in education are advised to take full advantage of educational technology to improve students’ learning experience in the future.

This study aims to find the effect of strategic agility in reducing credit risks in Iraqi commercial banks. This study used a quantitative research design. It used two types of data : Primary data are used to measure strategic agility through a questionnaire that was distributed to 400 employees, including managers, assistants, and workers at the relevant administrative levels. The secondary data were adopted from the financial statements of the banks between the years 1995-2023 to measure credit risk. The results of this study revealed an impact of resource fluidity and collective commitment on credit risk. This indicates that banks can reduce credit risks if they adopt the correct strategy. At the same time the results of the study did not show any significant effect of strategic sensitivity on credit risk. The limitations include the use of commercial banks only. Future research can include non-financial companies and different sectors in other countries. The practical implications indicate that banks must be rational and justified when making decisions regarding choosing a strategy that suits rapid and sudden changes, to avoid credit risks. In addition, commercial banks should implement strategic agility to achieve comprehensive results. The originality of this study lies in giving insight into strategic agility and credit risk. Therefore, the results of this study have important implications for shareholders, investors, and managers.

Group work is strongly related to group development and is linked with many aspects, such as professionalism and efficiency in teams. Group work in higher education is a popular teaching strategy due to its ability to engage students and provide meaningful collaborative learning experiences through online and face-to-face learning. Group work allows students to tackle complex tasks that might be challenging to accomplish individually. It promotes the development of critical skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving. The purpose of this research is to explore the implementation of a group work approach in the classroom. The research was determined using a quantitative survey. The model reflects the stages of forming, storming, norming, performing of 107 respondents of undergraduate students studying from three multi disciplines at public university in Malaysia. In this study, all stages were found to have a positive effect on students' group work experience. Additionally, it is also found that there is moderate positive relationship between the stages storming and norming as well as norming and performing. Educators should monitor students as they progress through stages during group work and provide appropriate guidelines to improve the efficacy of group work in the classroom.

The translation of culture-loaded words is crucial in cross-cultural communication, particularly in traditional Chinese Yu Opera, which contains rich cultural nuances. Proper translation ensures the preservation of authenticity and accessibility for a global audience. Despite extensive research in other fields, the study of culture-loaded words in Yu opera translation remains scarce, highlighting the need to address this gap. This study employs a comparative analysis of the source text (ST) and target text (TT) to identify the translation strategies used by the translator. Additionally, a semi-structured interview with the translator was conducted to understand the rationale behind the chosen strategies. This dual approach allows for a comprehensive examination of the translation process and the factors influencing strategy selection. Key findings reveal that domestication is more prevalent and effective than foreignization in navigating cultural boundaries. The study highlights that the choice of translation strategy is significantly influenced by both social factors, such as the interests of different parti es, and individual factors, including the translator’s subjectivity. Further research could explore the impact of different cultural contexts on translation strategies in

The significance of job satisfaction in educational settings is well-documented. However, TVET environments present unique challenges that necessitate a focused investigation. This review draws upon a comprehensive search of academic databases to synthesize relevant studies from diverse geographic and TVET institutional contexts. The aim is to delineate the predominant determinants and challenges affecting job satisfaction among TVET educators. By conducting a systematic review following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) technique, literature from Scopus and Google Scholar was extracted and examined using specific keywords related to job satisfaction challenges. A total of n=18 primary data were identified and analysed, leading to the emergence of three main themes: (1) determinants of job satisfaction, (2) potential, and challenges and 3) recommendations and suggestions. The review emphasizes various approaches and techniques affecting job satisfaction issues, identifies gaps in the existing literature, and suggests future research directions to explore the possibilities and challenges associated with outcome-based education in TVET. The insights from this review are poised to inform policy formulation, institutional strategies, and professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing job satisfaction and creating a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning in TVET education.

Listening entails the capacity to receive and comprehend messages within the communication process precisely. Consequently, within the domain of language acquisition, listening is recognised as a vital component alongside reading, writing, and speaking. Unlike other language skills, the primary objective of listening is to comprehend speech and extract its meaning rather than focusing solely on the language form itself (Sevik, 2012). This study investigates how learners perceive the utilisation of their learning strategies. In presenting the framework, the study also examines listening techniques proposed by Tuyen et al (2020), categorised into three groups: active, responsive, and attentive listening. A quantitative survey of 192 students from a Malaysian public university was carried out. The results demonstrate that students used all three categories of listening strategies in their language learning. The techniques include sustaining fluency, grasping the primary idea, negotiating meaning, scanning, nonverbal, less-active listening, and word-oriented techniques. The findings of this study can raise awareness among students about their listening strategies in language learning, offering valuable insights for educators, learners, and the broader language learning environment. It is suggested that foreign language instructors must teach students listening strategies, particularly focusing on those at lower proficiency levels. These strategies should be taught consistently and correctly to help students overcome listening challenges across different tasks.

In learning a foreign language, learners’ motivation is always the centre of topic in the academic world. Most researchers seem to agree that motivation is responsible for determining human behaviour by energising it and giving it direction. The objective of this quantitative study is to explore the influence of value component s on learner’s motivation in learning French as a Foreign Language. The data collected from 124 undergraduates at public university in Malaysia. The finding is rooted from Fowler (2018) and this study used a 5-point Likert Scale instrument consisting of 4 sections. Section A has items on demographic profile. Section B has 12 items on expectancy. Section C has 14 items on value and section D has 12 items on social support. A strong positive correlation was found between all the variables to motivate learners in learning a foreign language. It is recommended that the studies on motivation to learn French as a foreign language in Malaysia be further explored from a variety of perspectives and theories.
