As analysis research, the effect of boundary condition combination of the stress of the automobile flexible tube has been proposed in this paper. FEM solution for a Ω-shaped flexible tube under the action of lateral deflection and angle of rotation are obtained. The research shows the fact that the maximum von-Mises stress decreases to minimum value and the stress exhibit an upward trend after the minimum stress with the increase of the lateral deflection or the angle of rotation. Furthermore, an important suggestion should be made that the maximum von-Mises stress becomes minimum on the condition of lateral deflection (mm) /angle of rotation (degree) =10.

This paper examines whether the mandatory adoption of K-IFRS affects the earnings quality of Korean firms by comparing earnings managements measured with absolute discretionary accruals and real activities earnings managements of pre-IFRS and post-IFRS periods. Using samples of 7,417 firmyear observations from 2006 to 2012, it is found that the accruals earnings management decreased after the mandatory K-IFRS adoption, but real activities earnings management increased. This implies that listed companies would switch from the accrual-based to the real-based earnings management after the mandatory K-IFRS adoption. One implication to accounting information users is that they cannot benefit from the K-IFRS adoption in terms of higher accounting quality. The accounting regulators’ efforts to increase earnings quality by reducing the managerial discretion may cause unintended consequence of the increasing real activities earnings management.

The access control system based on OTP is proposed to complement the drawbacks of the user authentication mechanism such as a digital door-lock and mechanical door-lock based. The proposed method does not need administrator’s help to access the facility if the user must know OTP and has a registered mobile phone. The OTP is generated and sent to the user’s mobile phone whenever the user requests to access facility. The proposed system can solve the problems of loss or theft in conventional access control system. The proposed system is able to enhance the user authentication method by using combination of card input method and number input based on the value of OTP.

A canopy cover is geospatial information attributes that are commonly used in forestry and observation equipment allocation. However, it is extremely difficult to measure canopy cover ratio of all tree regions in the field, and tree’s leaves are continuously changed by season and climate. Hence, a remote sensing technique that makes it possible to obtain forestry information on broad areas within a short period of time has been considered. This study has attempted to investigate the reliability of the results obtained from canopy cover based on the vegetation index of mid-resolution images by performing regression analysis between Landsat Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), which has a relatively broad image acquisition area, LAI and DMT and reference data for canopy cover extracted from high-resolution images. It shows that the relationship of canopy cover and NDVI is higher than that of canopy cover and LAI, DMT. The DMT is needed improving the accuracy and updating more frequently. It is also found that the pixel-based canopy cover extraction approach provides better correlation results than the segment-based approach.
