The Effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Based on Lesson Study on the Biology Learning Achievement of High School Students 基于课程研究的情境教学对高中生生物学习成绩的影响

The implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based on lesson study aimed to determine its effect on the biology learning achievement of high school students. This referred to quasi-experimental research by applying CTL learning based on lesson study to the experimental class and conventional learning in the control class. The population in this study amounted to 286 students (Science X class students of SMA Negeri 2 Jember). The sample in this study was determined through homogeneity test, normality test, and random sampling to determine the control class and the experimental class. The students' affective learning achievement was analyzed by using the independent sample t-test, while their cognitive learning achievement was analyzed by using ANAKOVA test. Based on the test results of the independent sample t-test, it was found that the students' affective learning achievement differed significantly between the students in experimental class and control class. Based on the results of ANAKOVA test, it was known that the application of CTL learning based on Lesson Study has a significant effect on students' cognitive learning achievement.
本研究旨在探讨基于课程研究的情境教学对高中生生物学习成绩的影响。这是一种准实验研究,将基于课程学习的CTL学习应用于实验班,将常规学习应用于控制班。本研究人群为286名学生(SMA Negeri 2 Jember科学X班学生)。本研究通过齐性检验、正态性检验和随机抽样确定样本,确定对照组和实验班。情感学习成绩采用独立样本t检验,认知学习成绩采用ANAKOVA检验。根据独立样本t检验的检验结果,发现实验班学生和控制班学生的情感学习成绩存在显著差异。ANAKOVA检验的结果表明,基于课程研究的CTL学习对学生的认知学习成绩有显著影响。

The Development of Collaborative Learning Talking Chips Based On Brain-Based Learning (BBL) for The Junior High School Science in The Agroecosystem Area 农业生态区初中科学基于脑基学习(BBL)的协同学习谈话芯片的开发

Agroecosystem area has abundant natural resources, but these natural resources cannot be utilized as learning resources needed in the learning process of students becoming passive, comfortable and power-efficient in remembering students. Learning involving students is done by learning Brain-Based Learning (BBL) collaborated with Talking Chips type collaborative learning model. The purpose of this study is to obtain a development process, obtain a valid model, and obtain a Talking Chips learning a model based on Brain-Based Learning (BBL) that is practical for SMP learning in the Agroecosystem area. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 9 Jember with research subjects of class VII B in the academic year 2018/2019. The type of this research was (research and development), using 4-D model Thiagarajan, but only used 3 stages define, design, and develop. The technique of collecting data is by collecting product validation data, test methods, interviews with teachers, questionnaire teachers and students and observations. The data analysis technique consisted of product validation analysis, analytic analysis with N-gain and learning retention, and practicality analysis. The product validation results, which are 89.33%, are categorized as very valid. The effectiveness of learning outcomes is 0.78 with a high category while the retention results obtained based on the learning retention analysis are 89 with a high category. The results of practicality obtained from the teacher questionnaire response were 98%, the category was very good and the questionnaire student responses were 96% with a very good category.

Communication Functions in Speech Act Tolerance in The Multiethnic Community Interaction in East Java As A Representation of Ecological Establishment in East Java 东爪哇多民族社区互动中言语行为容忍的交际功能——东爪哇生态建构的表现

One important aspect of communication is tolerance. In the 18th century, tolerance was an important value that was exalted, besides the value of truth and humanism. Tolerance is a basic and fundamental quality in social relations that rejects violence and coercion. In this case, tolerant in speech becomes urgent to build ideal communication in diverse communities. In the reality of social interaction, tolerance is expressed through speeches chosen by the participants. These tolerant speeches have communication functions. This study aims to describe the communication functions of tolerant speech acts expressed in the communication of East Java Javanese multiethnic communities. This research was conducted using a pragmatic approach and ethnographic research design communication. Data were collected in the form of speech units and speech contexts that occurred in East Javanese multiethnic speeches. Selected data were analyzed by descriptive techniques including the stages of identification and classification, interpretation, pairing, and meaning of data. The results of the study were directed at describing the diversity of communication functions of tolerant speech acts including among others (1) the function of harmony, (2) the function of familiarity, (3) function of forgiveness, (4) function of honesty, and (5) honorific function.

The creation of literary-work is inseparable from the surrounding culture. If literature is born from culture, then literature is truly an adaptation of a particular culture. Hasan Singodimayan, a cultural observer from Banyuwangi wrote several novels that raised the Banyuwangi regional cultural theme in his works. Hence, this study aims to explain the adjustment of Banyuwangi culture in a novel by Hasnan Singodimayan using ecocultural study. The theory used in this study was Ecoculture Julian H Steward. This descriptive research employed a qualitative approach. Research data were collected through library technique, and then data were analyzed by using content analysis. The findings indicated that the story in the novel by Hasnan Singodimayan adjusted the modified and illogical Banyuwangi culture.

The Effect of Inquiry Learning Model Based on Cooperative Script on the Student Learning Achievement 基于合作脚本的研究性学习模式对学生学习成绩的影响

Biology is a science that has fundamental dimensions. Biology studies about living things. One of the things learned in Biology is the concept of Animalia. Inquiry learning model based on the cooperative script. The research referred to quasi-experimental research by applying inquiry learning model based on Cooperative Script in X MIPA 5 class as an experimental class and STAD learning model in X MIPA 1 class as a control class conducted at SMAN 1 Arjasa, Jember in the even semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The inquiry learning model based on cooperative script aimed to improve students' learning achievement. The result of data were analyzed  by using covariance analysis (ANAKOVA) which showed that the inquiry learning model based on cooperative script had a significant effect of p = 0,000 with the results of 49.95 in the control class and 54.12 in the experimental class on students' cognitive of grade X at SMAN 1 Arjasa, Jember. The test results of the independent sample t-test implemented in the invertebrate concept had a significant difference to psychomotor students at p = 0,000 with the results of 80.40 in the experimental class and 67.67 in the control class which revealed that from the results obtained both included in the good category.

Diversity and Frequency of The Kind of Lichen in Gumitir Mountain area of Jember Regency 摄制月古密提尔山区地衣种类的多样性和频率

The area of Indonesia is 1.3% of the Earth, but it has the highest level of biodiversity. Biodiversity in the environment needs to be explored. The mountain area is one of the most suitable environments for exploring biodiversity, such as the Gumitir Mountain. Gumitir Mountain has altitude around 620 meters above sea level. Gumitir Mountain has high biodiversity. Mosses (Bryophyta), ferns (Pteridophyta), till seed plants (Spermatophyta), and including Lichen was found in this area. Lichen is a mutualism symbiotic organism between fungi and green algae or blue-green algae that lives on the surface of the tree or another substrate with a variety of shapes and colours. This study aims to determine the diversity of kinds and frequencies of each kind of lichen found in the Gumitir Mountain area of Jember Regency. This research classified into exploratory research. Data retrieval is using the cruised method. Lichens are found in 20 species with Phlyctis arena (Ach.) Flot. as kind of lichen that is abundant in Gumitir Mountain Area.

Baitul Ulum Mojoduwur Jombang Islamic Boarding School guides students to carry out activities to maintain the cleanliness of the Islamic boarding school environment (natural potential) as a form of implementation of an ecological based Islamic education model. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the forms of activities to maintain the cleanliness of the environment of Islamic boarding schools in the ecology-based Islamic education model and the ecological concept in the fiqh perspective and the problematic implementation of ecology-based Islamic education in Baitul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. Descriptive analysis types qualitative research, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are the description, reduction and interpretation. The results of the discussion that the concept of ecological-based Islamic education in its application can be reflected in two models. First, the classical model, which is applicative, still uses the Islamic distinctive cultures, such as Roanan (workmanship) once a week, and cleaning pickets clean the cottage environment. Second, the modern model, namely by utilizing natural technological advances such as findings in the field, is to replant the land around the hut and fertilizing it with natural fertilizers. The problem of the implementation of Ecological-based Islamic education in Baitul Ulum Mojoduwur Mojowarno Jombang Islamic Boarding School is the existence of historical factors, land factors, and the density of literary activities with the activities of reciting and attending school making the implementation of ecologically based Islamic education models only a small part in its application.

Environmental education is badly needed today because a lot of developments often ignore the environment care. Understanding of caring for the environment cannot be built instantly but it must begin early. The role of women in conducting environmental education is very important. In reviewing eco-feminism, this role is certainly inseparable from gender role attached to women as guards of life and the environment. It can be seen from the term of mother and the name of the goddess of fertility which is always symbolized by woman. This situation has made many women learn about the environment. Consequently, this makes women have education and knowledge that are quite related to the environment. Through women's school, the role of women as guards of environment is expected to be more optimal. Through this women's school, women are expected to be able to form environmental literacy groups which can later become the agents of environmental education for the community.

This research is related to belief or culture in Seloliman village, Trawas sub-district, Mojokerto regency; it is Ceremonial Water in Jolotundo Petirtaan. Clifford Geertz assumed that culture as networks did not constitute an experimental science to look for the law but it was the interpretative science to look for meaning and symbol. This study used descriptive qualitative methods in which researchers attempted to describe written or oral words from observable people or behaviour. The findings indicated that culture or belief in the modern era was still applied because a culture or belief had symbol and meaning for people who believe it.

Environmental damage is getting worse in developing countries including Indonesia, so there is no guarantee that our children and grandchildren will live comfortably and safely in the years to come. The most fundamental thing that causes the rampant exploitation and destruction of the environment is the lack of awareness of the importance of caring for the earth. This awareness will grow along with beliefs and ideologies that become principles in people's lives. Destruction and exploitation of the earth cannot be stopped if the awareness and outlook on the meaning of the earth for human life are not grown starting from this very moment. Efforts to invite the public to respect and care for the environment often face resistance because it is propaganda. Literature has been proven to have the strength and ability to inspire, touch the human heart, move and foster awareness of the importance of caring for the earth and everything because humans and the earth are interdependent.
