Effect of powder mixed dielectric on Surface properties in Electric Discharge Machining 粉末混合介质对电火花加工表面性能的影响

In the process technology, as there are numerous advances at rapid rate, a large number of new materials are being developed every day. These materials have the combination of properties, like light weight, corrosive resistance, high strength etc., which is not easy to obtain in general. The important aspect is that they satisfy the demands of today’s industry, but the major problem is that it is very difficult to machine the newly developed materials. So, in order to manipulate them, newer machining methods have been developed. These methods are more efficient than the conventional ones. Electric discharge machining (EDM) is one of the most widely used methods among the new techniques. The main reason behind the popularity of the EDM is that its capability of machining the hard to machine materials and intricate shapes. EDM has been employed to effect/change the surface properties such as roughness and hardness of the die steels by varying the electrode material and by adding the various powders in the dielectric. In this thesis work the literature available in the area of Surface modification by PMEDM (Powder Mixed EDM), EDM in general and effect of PMEDM on Tool Wear Rate and Material Removal Rate has been reviewed. Experiments were designed using Taguchi method so that effect of all the parameters could be studied with minimum possible number of experiments. Using Taguchi method, Appropriate Orthogonal Array has been chosen and experiments have been performed as per the set of experiments designed in the orthogonal array. Signal to Noise ratios are also calculated to analyze the effect of PMEDM more accurately. From the point of view of industrial applications, die steel is a very important material and that’s why for the purpose of experimentation EN31 die steel with copper electrode and kerosene as dielectric has been used.

EVALUATION OF FACTORS AFFECTING QUALITY IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT 建筑工程质量影响因素的评价

Construction projects play a vital role in the development of our nation. Quality is one of the important features in all projects. Success parameter in construction greatly depends on the quality performance. Improvement of quality performance in construction helps to develop the nation. This research mainly focuses on to study the quality aspect which are inherent of the construction. Based on the identified factors a questionnaire is developed & it is surveyed to collect opinion from the construction experts. The collected data are analysed using Arithmetic mean method and it is ranked to get the top most values. The results are based on the survey including the respondents which gives the most affecting factor in construction. Using Factor Analysis in SPSS Found Factors affecting Quality in Construction Project. Keywords—Quality, Construction Project, Questionnaire Survey, Arithmetic Mean Method, Quality Factors

IMPLEMENTATION of DSL for WEB SCRAPING 用于WEB抓取的DSL实现

The main goal of this project is to implement a DSL for Web Scraping. A Domain Specific Language or DSL in short is a language that is created for solving a single purpose. It is a language that is used in only one domain. In our project, that domain is web scraping. Our main aim is to create a simple scripting language with easy to use syntax with many features that help the user scrape the web easily. Currently, web scraping is a tedious process. At the moment, the majority of web scraping is done by the means of modules in high level languages. This would require the user and in-depth knowledge of the high-level language as well, and thus precludes many laymen from easy web scraping. This project will provide a DSL with highly simplified syntax which does not assume any skill from the user. Thus, anyone would be able to use this language to scrape the web with no previous knowledge of the domain. This DSL has been implemented using Python and its scraping libraries. With this, many features and functionalities can be implemented in the DSL thus providing an effective tool for web scraping without compromising on simplicity Keywords— Domain Specific Language, Web Scraping, Python, Beautiful Soup 4

— Data mining is known as the process of sorting through a large number of data sets to create relationships and to find patterns for solving a given problem through data analysis. Classification, Association rules, Prediction, Clustering, and Sequential patterns are some of the most important and common data mining techniques. Data mining methods are used in a wide variety of applications, also seen in the healthcare sector. Data analysis in the health care industry plays a significant role in the detection of diseases. A variety of tests would be expected from the patient to diagnose a certain disease. However, using the data mining technique, the number of tests can be minimized. These tests play a critical role in time and results. The data mining methodology has benefits and drawbacks. This paper analyses how data mining methods are used to identify various types of diseases. This paper surveyed research articles that focused primarily on predicting, diabetes, heart disease and skin cancer.

RECOMMENDATION OF SENSOR BASED SMART DUSTBINS USING IOT 推荐使用物联网的基于传感器的智能垃圾箱

This paper presents the design of smart dustbins for enhancement in waste management systems. There has been an increase in the garbage for urban areas due to drastic rise in population. Automatically operated Smart dustbins using IOT and sensor based technology are a boon to curb the problem of waste management. Traditional dustbins are manually handled by pressing foot against lever and throwing garbage. Trackers are needed to monitor on when it is full so that it can be emptied. Overflow of garbage results in land pollution, spread of diseases, and it creates unhealthy conditions for individuals and environment. Thus, there has to be a technology or system that must provide the vital signs of filling the bin that alerts the local municipality to clear the trash and protect our mother earth. In order to handle such problems, we proposed a system “Smart Dustbin using IOT and Sensors”. The proposed system provides an alert signals to inform the authorized individual by blink or buzzer. This system reduces labour effort with minimal resources. To support the smart city vision and to provide pollution free, green and healthy environment for a better lifestyle for mankind. Keywords— Smart Dustbin, GSM module, Sensors, Internet of Things, Garbage Monitoring.

AbstractIn this paper performance analysis of single phase LPG generator set is taken. India is developing country. The demand of electricity is going on increasing day by day as the number of industries, residential complex, institutes, multiplexes, malls, hospitals and farm lift irrigation etc increases. The demand of electricity is more compared to theproduction of electricity .In order to match electrical demand and supply load shadingprinciple is used, which is not desirable .To tackle unusual power cut (load shading)industries, residential complex,institutes, multiplexes, malls, hospitals and farm lift irrigation etc need standby power source whenever required. Now days, generator is the most useful source of standby power.Considering the need of generators, the performance test of single phase generator setis carried out under different loading condition.
