Lambeaux writen by Charles Juliet is the result of a trauma in his early infancy. A month after his birth, he is separated from his mother interned in a psychiatric hospital after a suicide tentative. His biological father entrusts him to a family who will love him and raise him like their own. When he becomes an adult he decides to write his biological mother’s biography with his imagination because he had not enough information about her life and his autobiography bind to his adoptive mother. Writing becomes his resilience. Two people help him to achieve his goal: his adoptive mother and his French teacher who become resilience tutors. To improve his writing, the author reads French writers looking for words he can use in his own work. Lambeaux is finally the re-creation of the biological mother and her son as a writer.

By taking "three strong women" as heroines, Marie NDiaye brings out the paradoxical strength of characters caught up in the destructive mechanisms of stories with uncertain endings. We perceive in these women the models of a resilience whose restorative grace is inscribed the intersubjective relations of which they are the hearths. This hypothesis invites us to observe how these relationships, threatened by an alienating confusion, get out of it, but also to locate the opaque zones of the narratives which designate the fragility of the process. Resilience could be the faculty of escaping from the dead life, that which makes them know the reflex of the withdrawal on oneself for a preservation without other goal than to flee the suffering. By refusing to collude with the deadly exercise of violence, the protagonists restore in themselves the dignity of the human person, concentrated in the faculty of answering to oneself and to the other. Resilience is the ability to withstand adversity, trauma, stress, and other problems such as depression, family problems and difficult situations in order to be able to survive regardless of the types of shocks suffered. In his novel, Tous les hommes n’habitent pas le monde de la même façon (All men do not inhabit the world in the same way), the French writer Jean-Paul Dubois (Goncourt price-2019) narrates the story of Paul Hansen, locked down in Montreal prison where he shares a 6 square meters cell with Patrick Horton, convicted for murder. Paul Hansen passes time recalling the greatest moments of his life and conversing with ghosts from his past. Remembering the past in this way, helps him to resist and to become more resilient. He escapes his present to fantasize a world where he travels from Toulouse to the North of Denmark, to Skagen, passing through the North of Canada. But how does the narrator explain Paul Hansen's resilience? How memory become imperative does to escape one's present? How do memories become a self-healing tool? This paper will explore the possible answers to these questions as depicted in the novel.

Affected, like most countries in the world, by the covid-19 pandemic which has affected all sectors of activity, Morocco has proposed, as part of a policy of prevention and anticipation.The measures including the objective is not only to limit the spread of covid but also and above all to ensure educational continuity and the transition from face-to-face teaching to distance learning. However, not having, like the majority of countries, a prior strategy to deal with this disaster situation, the concept of the resilience of education systems was not yet included in public policies. This fact did not prevent the Moroccan government from deploying all the necessary means to ensure and maintain this educational continuity. Our subject, in this communication, would be focused, on the one hand, on the various actions carried out by the Moroccan government in times of covid and, on the other hand, on the measures adopted by the Moroccan university, through the Commission of the Presidents of Universities (CPU) to deal with this pandemic through management, courses and exams. We will focus on distance education in the Moroccan university, starting not only from our personal experience, since we have experienced this situation, but also from the scientific studies carried out by Moroccan colleagues during this period. The aim is to provide some answers to the following questions: a- What is the impact of preventive measures in terms of distance education on the academic year? b- What are the points of view of the student and the teacher with regard to this new university practice? c- What use and what contribution of ICT in the development of teaching practices?

This study investigates the influence for intrinsic and extrinsic motives on customers` participation in value co-creation activities (CPVCA), beside examining the direct and indirect impact for CPVCA on customers` loyalty. Quantitative research approach is used, while the study population encompasses all Lebanese private universities students. A questionnaire was developed to gather data from 403 universities` students who were chosen using the convenience sampling technique. PLS-SEM was adopted to examine the study proposed scale validity and the relationships between its latent variables. The current study results indicate a positive influence for both intrinsic and extrinsic motives on CPVCA. Also, the findings reveal a significant direct relationship among CPVCA and customer loyalty, as well as an indirect relationship via mediating brand experience.

هدفت هذه الدراسة لفحص الخصائص القياسية للصورة العربية القصيرة للإصدار الثاني من قائمة الخمسة الكبار في الكويت. استخدمت في هذه الدراسة (3) عينات مستقلة من طلاب جامعة الكويت إجمالي قوامها (2977) فرداً بواقع (1116) من الذكور و (1861) من الإناث وذلك لحساب ثبات الاتساق الداخلي والصدق العاملي وصدق المحك. وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن تباين معاملات الثبات لقائمة الخمسة الكبار حيث تراوحت معاملات ألفا للثبات بين 0.75 و0.82 لعينة الذكور في حين تراوحت معاملات ألفا للثبات بين 0.74 و0.81 لعينة الإناث. كما كشفت نتائج التحليل العاملي الاستكشافي عن استخلاص خمسة عوامل لقائمة الخمسة الكبار (العصابية، الانبساط، الانفتاح العقلي، الاتقان، القبول). كما كشفت نتائج صدق المحك عن ارتباطات مرتفعة بين مقاييس أوجه السمات الخمسة عشر المكونة للصورة العربية القصيرة للإصدار الثاني من قائمة الخمسة الكبار ونظيرتها من اوجه السمات المكونة للصورة الأصلية المراجعة من قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية NEO-PI-R.

Al-Ali","doi":"10.54729/jdon4667","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54729/jdon4667","url":null,"abstract":"هدفت هذه الدراسة لفحص الخصائص القياسية للصورة العربية القصيرة للإصدار الثاني من قائمة الخمسة الكبار في الكويت. استخدمت في هذه الدراسة (3) عينات مستقلة من طلاب جامعة الكويت إجمالي قوامها (2977) فرداً بواقع (1116) من الذكور و (1861) من الإناث وذلك لحساب ثبات الاتساق الداخلي والصدق العاملي وصدق المحك. وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن تباين معاملات الثبات لقائمة الخمسة الكبار حيث تراوحت معاملات ألفا للثبات بين 0.75 و0.82 لعينة الذكور في حين تراوحت معاملات ألفا للثبات بين 0.74 و0.81 لعينة الإناث. كما كشفت نتائج التحليل العاملي الاستكشافي عن استخلاص خمسة عوامل لقائمة الخمسة الكبار (العصابية، الانبساط، الانفتاح العقلي، الاتقان، القبول). كما كشفت نتائج صدق المحك عن ارتباطات مرتفعة بين مقاييس أوجه السمات الخمسة عشر المكونة للصورة العربية القصيرة للإصدار الثاني من قائمة الخمسة الكبار ونظيرتها من اوجه السمات المكونة للصورة الأصلية المراجعة من قائمة العوامل الخمسة للشخصية NEO-PI-R.","PeriodicalId":143734,"journal":{"name":"BAU Journal - Society, Culture and Human Behavior","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129084568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Non-adherence to medications can lead to several consequences that range from waste of drugs to death. Consequently, a tool to assess the adherence to chronic medication is a necessity. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to conduct the translation and cross-cultural adaptation process of ARMS into the Lebanese Arabic version (ARMS-A) and to examine its psychometric properties (validity and reliability assessment). Design: The original English version of ARMS was translated into Arabic based on the established guidelines. Eight expert panels were involved in content validation, while face validation was conducted on twenty participants during pilot testing. A cross-sectional survey was used to evaluate the psychometric properties of ARMS-A on 135 participants. Participants: Adults patients on chronic medications were invited to be part of the study. Main outcome measures: Overall content and universal face validity indexes were determined in addition to the exploratory factors and Cronbach’s alpha. Key Results: The overall content validity index was 0.91, and the universal face validity index was also 0.91. For the exploratory factor analysis, two factors were extracted. The first one consisted of 6 items and explained 43.9% of the variance. The second one also comprised of 6 items with a variance of 9.59%. For internal consistency and reliability, the Cronbach’s alpha was 0.877. Conclusion: ARMS-A appears to be a valid and reliable medication adherence tool to assess the adherence of chronic medications among native Arabic speaking patient with chronic diseases.
