Students' experience in solving problems through discovery is a prerequisite for students' critical and analytical thinking in constructing their learning outcomes, so that a knowledge system process will be formed in their students' memories that is ready to be reused when such knowledge is needed. Less optimal student learning outcomes are caused by several factors, one of which is the low attention and lack of concentration of students in following mathematics learning. Teachers often provide lessons in the form of lectures and questions and answers, so students are less motivated to develop creative thinking skills in solving problems. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an increase in student mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of problem based learning learning models. This type of research is classroom action research with two cycles, where each cycle consists of activities of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data retrieval is carried out by a written test on two linear variables. This research was conducted in class VIII-F of SMP Negeri 22 Surabaya with 32 students.

Gaya belajar setiap orang dapat menjadi salah satu faktor orang tersebut mempunyai kemampuan pemahaman yang berbeda-beda terhadap suatu informasi. Salah satunya kemampuan seseorang dalam mempelajari bahasa inggris. Akibatnya, kemampuan bahasa inggris setiap orang bisa berbeda- beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kemampuan bahasa inggris yang menonjol berdasarkan gaya belajarnya terutama mahasiswa matematika. Responden penelitian adalah 62 mahasiswa jurusan matematika yang diinstruksikan menjawab angket gaya belajar dan TOEP. Hasil angket gaya menunjukkan terdapat tujuh kelompok gaya belajar mahasiswa yaitu gaya belajar auditori, kinestetik, visual, auditori-kinestetik, auditori-visual, kinestetik-visual, dan auditori-kinestetik, visual yang semuanya lebih dominan mempunyai kemampuan listening lebih dominan dari pada kemampuan bahasa inggris yang lain.

The goal of this research was to describe English competency of 62 mathematical students by their learning style using questioner of learning style and TOEP. The result shown that there were seven type of learning style: auditory, kinesthetic, visual, auditory-kinesthetic, auditory-visual, kinesthetic-visual, and auditory-kinesthetic-visual that all of them have good listening competency than another.

This research is quantitative descriptive research with engineering data retrieval using the test measurements of height and weight. Di dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia meliputi; keterampilan menyimak , mendengar, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan salah satu komponen dalm pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang harus dimiliki oleh pendidik dan peserta didik di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Indonesia dalam menyampaikan pidato persuasif peserta didik kelas IX.10 SMP Negeri 11 Palembang pada khususnya melalui metode sosiodrama. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IX.10 SMP Negeri 11 Palembang yang terletak di Jl. Jalan Adi Sucipto Talang Betutu Palembang Sumatera Selatan. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 32 orang peserta didik kelas IX.10 SMP Negeri 11 Palembang. Pada pokok bahasan menyampaikan pidato persuasif dan dibantu seorang kolaborator bernama Siti Rahmah, S.Pd. Penelitian ini direncanakan akan dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dari bulan September s/d November 2019. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sesuai dengan program pembelajaran yang telah disusun pada awal semester. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas mengenai penerapan Metode sosiodrama pada siswa kelas IX.10 SMP Negeri 11 Palembang dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang berlangsung selama 2 siklus penelitian dapat disimpulkan: selama berlangsung PTK, upaya penerapan metode sosiodrama telah dikelola dengan baik. Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan metode sosiodrama dilaksanakan dengan baik ternyata cukup efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil Belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, dibuktikan oleh perolehan nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan dari siklus I sebesar 68,75% naik menjadi 93,75% di siklus II masuk dalam kriteria interpretasi sangat baik. STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo adalah lembaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan (LPTK) yang mana desain kurikulum dirancang untuk mencetak mahasiswa menjadi tenaga pendidik. Mata kuliah kewirausahaan di STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo adalah mata kuliah yang wajib ditempuh mahasiswa dengan capaian pembelajaran agar mahasiswa mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menjalankan kewirausahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi karakter Kewirausahaan mahasiswa prodi PGSD dan prodi pendidikan Sejarah STKIP PGRI Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah test angket. Populasi yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa prodi PGSD dan pendidikan Sejarah yang sedang mengikuti kuliah kewirausahaan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 56 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 22 atau 39,3% mahasiswa memiliki karakter kewirausahaan yang tinggi, 28 atau 50% mahasiswa memiliki karakter kewirausahaan sedang dan 6 atau 10,7% mahasiswa memiliki karakter kewirausahaan rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan, meskipun mahasiswa menempuh studi di lembaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, lembaga pencetak profesi guru ternyata memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk menjadi seorang wirausahawan.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pemahaman multikultural di kalangan pelajar. Mata pelajaran sejarah memiliki arti strategis dalam pembentukan watak dan karakter bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model pembelajaran sejarah berbasis nilai-nilai multikultural. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru Madrasah Aliyah Darut Taqwa Purwosari. Penelitian ini diawali dengan penelitian pendahuluan dengan mengumpulkan informasi tentang pembelajaran sejarah. Selanjutnya mengembangkan model pembelajaran sejarah dan pengujian efektivitas model yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Proses pembelajaran sejarah di Madrasah Aliyah Darut Taqwa cenderung berpusat pada guru sehingga masih perlu adanya inovasi dan kreatifitas guru untuk mencari dan menemukan model pembelajaran yang mendukung pendidikan multikultural dalam pembelajaran sejarah. (2) Model pembelajaran dikembangkan berdasarkan temuan dari studi pendahuluan. Pengembangan model pembelajaran dimulai dari penyusunan desain awal, validasi ahli, revisi sesuai catatan ahli dan uji coba terbatas. (3) Berdasarkan uji keefektifan, model pembelajaran sejarah yang dikembangkan efektif dalam pembelajaran.
