As an increasing of load demand, scarcity of fossil fuel and green house effect, utilization of renewable energy resources such as solar and wind energy are done seriously. The problem rises when potency of them is far smaller than load demand and the high difference between wind velocity profile and solar radiant intensity and load profile is happened. Its make excess electricity to be higher so the electrical production cost to be higher too. The purpose of this research is designing optimal configuration of microgrid PV-Wind turbine-Grid-Battery through optimization of load capacity to reduce excess electricity. Some parameters of optimal configuration are used to evaluate them, namely electrical production cost, reliability, CO2 coming from life cycle assessment, area of installation and unemployment reduction. Software HOMER version 2.68 Beta from NREL is used to simulate alternative configuration of microgrid. The results show that distribution total load into some sub-microgrids gives the positive impact, namely smaller electrical production cost, higher reliability, minimum CO2, relative smaller area of installation and unemployment reduction.

Face detection is one of the most important parts of biometrics and face analysis science. Numerous methods and algorithms have been developed in recent years; however, there is a sensible gap between the current detection rate and the ideal one yet. In this paper, a novel multi-stage face detection method is proposed which can remarkably detect faces in different images with different illumination conditions, variety of poses and disparate sizes. The idea is to utilize a preprocessing step to filter many non-face windows by means of a skin segmentation procedure in order to boost the speed of the detection and also utilize the color information as much as possible. Subsequently, candidate windows are fed to a Local Hierarchical Pattern (LHP) generator unit where a new texture pattern is produced. Based on this pattern, a kernel probability map is calculated for each window, and by summing probabilities of all kernels and comparing it with a predefined threshold, decision is made about content of the window. This algorithm not only effectively eliminates many non-face regions, but also it is capable of detecting faces with relatively acceptable rates.

Website is a key determinant of e-business survival, competitive advantage, and success. Developing and controlling quality of website that response different consumer needs can affect customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. This study constructed an integrated model of customer repurchase intention in B2C e-commerce based on DeLoan and McLean's IS success model for testing the relationships among website quality, internet shopping value, customer trust, customer satisfaction, and customer repurchase intention. Then, empirical testing examines the effect of B2C website qualities on the internet shopping value and subsequent customer repurchases intention. A survey of 384 shoppers of B2C e-commerce was conducted to test a model. The model was shown a significant fit. Results showed that system quality had a significant impact on the hedonic shopping value, information quality had a significant impact on the utilitarian shopping value, and service quality had a significant impact both on the utilitarian and hedonic shopping value. Moreover, results also showed that utilitarian shopping value, customer trust and customer satisfaction had direct positive effect on customer repurchase intention.

This paper proposes flower pollination method implemented in multi-machine system with generalized unified power flow controller (GUPFC). Flower pollination method was used to provide parameters of two stage lead-lag controller. The controller provides supplementary signals for PSS and POD. The study was carried out to determine the stability of the multimachine power system without and with GUPFC. The results show that the addition of GUPFC optimized by proposed method is able to decrease the initial value of oscillations, overshoot, and settling time that happened. In addition, system's eigenvalues shifted toward the left half plane of complex coordinate.

A new neural network structure for adaptive modeling of dynamic system is presented in this paper. Based on multi-layer perceptron (MLP), the network possesses parameter expansion and external recurrence. Parameter expansion is obtained by using tapped delay lines (TDLs) to the outputs of the hidden layer. This increases the number of parameters between the hidden layer and the output layer. Furthermore, external recurrence is obtained by connecting the output and the input of the network. Proper learning algorithm is derived to accommodate the aforementioned modifications. Afterwards, the network is integrated in an adaptive scheme so that it can model systems with changing property or operating condition. The application in modeling of a water tank system demonstrates the ability of the proposed scheme.

In this paper, prevalent use of flooded lead acid batteries as a backup for energy with Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems (UPS) in homes is investigated. An analysis for two different UPS Battery configurations and their comparison with battery life is presented. In one configuration, inverter and battery charger of UPS, which is connected to a battery have good power factors and design. In the second configuration, inverter and battery charger of UPS have poor power factors and design but is connected to the same battery. Based on developed economic model and battery life comparison illegal use of flooded batteries is identified.

The purpose of this study is to find the level of trust of Indonesian consumers to C2C E-Commerce system in Indonesia. There are four antecedents of consumer trust will be measured and analysed to search the Indonesian C2C E-Commerce trust of Indonesian consumers. This study used the previous study that has been conducted about B2C E-Commerce system in Indonesia and also the similar study that has been conducted in United States of America. Gathering the data using online questionnaire and verify the data by interview some respondents, Structural Equation Modelling, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and Squared Multiple Correlations were conducted in this study. Results from this study shows that the trust level of Indonesian consumers toward C2C E-Commerce system in Indonesia only 10.7%. Surprisingly, the users of C2C E-Commerce system are high, but the trust level is low, this is because of the third party recognition and some sellers do not provide a payment method that the buyers want and also there is no function that shows the reputation score of sellers.

Cochlear implant (CI) is a hearing aid for people with profound deafness, inability to respond to a sound stimulus above 90dB SPL. The main problem of CI user is the inability to discriminate simultaneous incoming sounds, focusing on the desired sound (target) whilst ignoring the rest (cocktail party problem). In this research, the release of masking strategy is introduced to give a glimpse of acoustical cues for CI user to make the discrimination easier in the presence of background noise (masker). We evaluated the performance release of masking with various combinations of target sound channel vocoder (the sound that want to hear) with respect to masker channel. For further enhancement, we also evaluated spectral subtraction (SS), Ephraim-Malah, and Frequency Amplitude Modulation Encoding (FAME) to improve intelligibility of channelized sounds. The results showed that the release of masking may have improve the intelligibility on CI users to access temporal structure of waveform of simultaneous stimuli. The best enhancement method is FAME with PESQ value 1.4 and % correct word increased to 72%.

The exponential growth of the data may lead us to the information explosion era, an era where most of the data cannot be managed easily. Text mining study is believed to prevent the world from entering that era. One of the text mining studies that may prevent the explosion era is text classification. It is a way to classify articles into several predefined categories. In this research, the classifier implements TF-IDF algorithm. TF-IDF is an algorithm that counts the word weight by considering frequency of the word (TF) and in how many files the word can be found (IDF). Since the IDF could see the in how many files a term can be found, it can control the weight of each word. When a word can be found in so many files, it will be considered as an unimportant word. TF-IDF has been proven to create a classifier that could classify news articles in Bahasa Indonesia in a high accuracy; 98.3%.

A maximum efficiency control for a dual-motor drive system is presented in this paper. The torque sharing between two motors is optimized by using the perturbation and observation method. A fuzzy-logic controller is implemented for the perturbation and observation method. As a result, the step of perturbation can be adaptively modified to improve the performance. In addition, a simple calculation is used to achieve real-time efficiency measurement. The proposed method is implemented on two identical 2 kW permanent magnet synchronous motors connected in parallel. Finally, experimental results validate the proposed control scheme performance.
