COMPARING THE FINANCIAL EFFICIENCY OF TRADITIONAL VERSUS ORGANIC RICE FARMING IN TIEU CAN DISTRICT, TRA VINH PROVINCE, VIETNAM 比较越南越共省忠灿区传统与有机水稻种植的财务效率

This study aimed to analyze the  financial efficiency, determine influencing factors and propose solutions to developing organic rice farming models. The results showed that while it requires farmers to have more production experience and education, organic rice farming has advantages in producing more per land area with lower production costs and more stable product output. The lack of labor and tools for mechanization were the main difficulties of using this model. The average profit per crop of the organic rice model was1,768,000 VND/1,000 m2/crop, approximately 530,300 VND/1,000 m2/crop higher than the traditional rice model. Regression analysis results showed that the financial performance of the two models was affected by the educational level of farmers and types of costs such as fertilizers, pesticides and labor. Production experience of farmers also influences the efficiency of the organic rice production model, while factors relatedto seed and selling price affect the efficiency of the traditional rice production model.
本研究旨在分析经济效益,确定影响因素,并提出发展有机水稻种植模式的解决方案。结果表明,虽然有机水稻种植需要农民有更多的生产经验和教育,但有机水稻种植具有单位土地面积产量高、生产成本低、产品产量稳定的优势。缺乏机械化所需的劳动力和工具是使用这种模式的主要困难。有机水稻模式的每季平均利润为1768000越南盾/ 1000平方米/作物,比传统水稻模式高出约530300越南盾/ 1000平方米/作物。回归分析结果表明,两种模式的财务绩效受到农民受教育程度和成本类型(如化肥、农药和劳动力)的影响。农民的生产经验也会影响有机水稻生产模式的效率,而与种子和销售价格相关的因素会影响传统水稻生产模式的效率。

INVESTIGATION ON HYDROLOGIC PERFORMANCE OF PERVIOUS CONCRETE PAVEMENT BY FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS 透水混凝土路面水文性能的有限元分析研究

Pervious concrete pavement has been used widely as an effective practice for water management in low-impact development techniques. The hydrologic performance of pervious concrete pavement depends significantlyon the rainfall intensity and the designed slope. This study assessed the hydrologic performance of pervious concrete pavement by evaluating the time for surface ponding via finite element analysis. A series of simulations were carried out to explore the relationship between hydrologic performance and pervious concrete pavement by the Hydrus 2D program. The research’s results showed that as the slope increased, the time of surface ponding also increased. The data indicated that the slope variable had a low impact on the water level in pervious concrete pavement under a constant rainfall intensity. Observation of the effect of rainfall intensity showed that when the rainfall intensity increased twofold, the time for surface ponding dropped about two times. Furthermore, when surface ponding appeared, pervious concrete pavement at higher rainfall intensity had lower water content. The rainfall intensity also significantly affects the hydrologicperformance of the pervious concrete pavement. This study only assessed the hydrologic performance by using the time for surface ponding via finite element analysis. Further experimental studies should be conducted to examine the relationship of other factors to the hydrologic performance of pervious concrete pavement.

Cultural symbols are research objects that many scholars are interested in when studying cultures. The article is based on the structural theory of symbolic anthropology (or interpretive anthropology) to study and decipher the meaning of sand mountains in Khmer culture. The building of sand mountains duringceremonies on New Year’s Day is an important cultural and spiritual activity that illustrates religious harmony with cultural life during traditional festivals. In the article, the symbolic meaning of the sand mountain is deciphered to explore  the cultural values and religious philosophies hidden in the heart of Khmer culture in Southern Viet Nam.
文化符号是许多学者在研究文化时感兴趣的研究对象。本文以象征人类学(或解释人类学)的结构理论为基础,对高棉文化中沙山的意义进行研究和解读。新年仪式中的筑沙山是一项重要的文化精神活动,体现了传统节日中宗教与文化生活的和谐。在这篇文章中,沙山的象征意义被破译,以探索隐藏在越南南部高棉文化的核心文化价值和宗教哲学。

REASERCH ON DETERMINATION FOR THE LIMITED COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH AND BENDING MOMENT OF THE STEEL COLUMN BASE USING EFFECTIVE AREA PANDEMIC 利用有效面积流行病确定钢柱基础极限抗压强度和弯矩的研究

In the design of steel column base, parameters of limited compressive strength NRd and limited bending moment MRd are the control conditions that need to be paid due attention, otherwise it will damage the concrete foundation block at the foot of the column. The objective of the article is to use the effective area method in Eurocode 3 standard to determine NRd and MRd of the steel column base, then perform numericalcalculations to check the calculation results. The results show that the NRd and MRd of the steel column base tends to increase when increasing the thickness of the base plate and the grade of the concrete foundation block. Then, corresponding to each thickness of the base plate (from t=18 mm to t=36 mm) and each concrete grade (from C16/20 to C50/60) will give corresponding results for each NRd and MRd. However, it is important to note that the compressive capacity and bending moment of the column base will be limited, can not increase forever, for example, can not overcome the compressive strength Npl;Rd = 1596 kN and the limit bending  strength Mpl;Rd=131.3 kN.m of the concrete foundation block at the base of the column. The article recommends using the results of this study to choose the thickness of the base plate and the grade of theconcrete foundation block in the most effective, accurate and economical way.

APPLICATION OF PID METHOD TO CONTROL TRACTION ON THE VEHICLES THROUGH CONTROLLING THE BRAKE MOMENT AT THE TWO DRIVING WHEELS 应用pid方法通过控制两个驱动轮的制动力矩来控制车辆的牵引力

A vehicle differential is a device that divides engine power between the two driving wheels and allows the wheels to rotate at different speeds when the vehicle moves on the road. The speed difference depends mainly on the grip between the wheels and the road surface. When the traction acting on both driving wheels is equal,the differential will distribute traction equally, helping the vehicle move stably on a straight road. However, if one of the two driving wheels rolls on a slippery road, the differential will distribute more engine power to this wheel. As a result, the vehicle’s motion is unstable, engine power is lost, the vehicle cannot move. To solvethe problem, using a limited-slip differential, an active differential or a traction control system is considered an optimal solution. This study uses the brake moment acting on the skidding wheel to redistribute the engine power at the two driving wheels and uses the PID method for traction control at the drive wheels. Survey results show the effectiveness of the designed controller.

In the current globalization context, Viet Nam’s traditional cultural values have had changes. Stemming from that situation, through content analysis of materials on books, newspapers and magazines before 1945, the author studies the issue of national literature education in Viet Nam based on the aspects of language, documents and teaching content, initially draws some lessons from the education of national conciousness in the current international integration process.
在当前全球化的背景下,越南的传统文化价值观发生了变化。基于这种情况,笔者通过对1945年以前的书报杂志资料的内容分析,从语言、文献、教学内容等方面对越南民族文学教育问题进行了研究,初步得出了当前国际一体化进程中民族意识教育的一些启示。

EVALUATION OF GENETIC DIVERSITY OF THE BLACK GLUTINOUS RICE BASED ON AGRO-MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERS 基于农业形态特征的黑糯米遗传多样性评价

The study assessed the variations in nine agro-morphological characters among and within the black glutinous rice (Oryza sativa) population from Chau Thanh District, Tra Vinh Province. The nine quantitative agromorphological characters that were measured include culm length, leaf length, leaf width, number of panicles, panicle length, grain length, grain width, number of firm grain, and number of grain per panicle. The unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean method and principal coordinate analysis by the NTSYS program were applied in this study to classify the nine agro-morphological characters. In addition, tocompare the variations in quantitative characters between O. sativa populations, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. The results showed significant differences between the black glutinous rice populations for all quantitative agro-morphological characters. Moreover, some agro-morphological characters showed positive correlations to each other. The dendrogram generated from the analysis process of the agromorphological data divided the O. sativa populations into two groups with unfamiliar features. However, the O. sativa populations assessed exhibited a wide range of variations in morphological characteristics, both within the same population and among other populations with the same strains.

In addition, tocompare the variations in quantitative characters between O. sativa populations, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. The results showed significant differences between the black glutinous rice populations for all quantitative agro-morphological characters. Moreover, some agro-morphological characters showed positive correlations to each other. The dendrogram generated from the analysis process of the agromorphological data divided the O. sativa populations into two groups with unfamiliar features. In recent years, night tourism has been considered one of the current trends in the global tourism industry. Bac Lieu has many favorable conditions to develop night tourism, but the effectiveness is modest. Therefore, it is necessary to study the conditions for developing night tourism activities in Bac Lieu City. This study was conducted based on field research and the collection of secondary data. The SWOT analysis method was applied to identify and analyze conditions for developing night tourism activities in Bac Lieu City. Findings from data analysis  make valuable recommendations for developing night tourism in Bac Lieu to contribute to local socioeconomic development.
近年来,夜游被认为是当前全球旅游业的发展趋势之一。北寮发展夜游的有利条件很多,但效益不高。因此,有必要对北留市开展夜间旅游活动的条件进行研究。本研究是在实地调研和收集二手资料的基础上进行的。运用SWOT分析法,对北流市开展夜间旅游活动的条件进行了识别和分析。数据分析的结果为北寮夜间旅游的发展提供了有价值的建议,以促进当地社会经济的发展。

WATER QUALITY STATUS OF WHITE LEG SHRIMP FARMING AREAS IN BINH DAI DISTRICT, BEN TRE PROVINCE, VIETNAM 越南本特省平代区白腿虾养殖区水质状况

This study focused on water quality assessment of farmed shrimp ponds in Binh Dai District, Ben Tre Province. The goals of the study were to provide chemical parameters of pond water for farmers, to identify problems and causes in farmed shrimp related to water quality and disease, and to help managers find appropriatesolutions to minimize damage to local shrimp farming. Water samples were collected monthly from January to June 2021 from 90 vannamei farmers in six different areas, including Vang Quoi Dong, Dinh Trung Binh Thoi, Phu Long, Phu Vang, and Binh Thang of Binh Dai District. Parameters investigated in this study included pH,alkalinity, NH4+, NH3, NO2- and three other minerals. Water quality parameters were analyzed based on APHA standard analysis methods. The results showed that the water quality of shrimp farming areas in Binh Dai fluctuated from time to time, and water quality parameters were suitable for vannamei shrimp farming. However, the concentration of NO2- was always higher than the permitted threshold. The results fromcluster analysis and MANOVA testing showed that water quality of the shrimp farming areas in Binh Dai was significantly different (p < 0.05), especially NO2-, Ca, Mg and alkalinity. These findings suggest that farmers must apply proper solutions for water quality management in each farming area to maximize crop production.

POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF ARBUSCULAR MYCORRHIZA FUNGI IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL CULTIVATION 丛枝菌根真菌在可持续农业栽培中的潜在效益

The Arbuscular Mycorrhiza fungi have a mutualistic relationship with 80% of terrestrial plants. Arbuscular Mycorrhiza fungi are considered as a biofertilizer source because of their positive effects on plant growth andproductivity They can help to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers by up to 50% due to their ability in enhancing crops to uptake mineral nutrients efficently such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, zinc. . . thereby increasing crop yield. Moreover, this endosymbiotic fungus also shows its potential as a biopesticide due to its ability to biologically antagonize a wide range of fungi, viruses, and nematodes, which cause diseases on plants. Besides, Arbuscular Mycorrhiza fungi also help plants to resist to abiotic streeses such as drought, salinity, and toxicity of heavy metals. The glomalin compound secreted by mycorrhizal fungi has the ability tobind tiny soil particles together to form a stable soil structure and aggregates, helping to improve soil qualitỵ Thus, Arbuscular Mycorrhiza fungi have a high use potential in sustainable agricultural development under the context of climate change such as drought, salinity intrusion.
