Within English teaching and learning facilities in most schools and English language centers in Vietnam, using songs is considered to be one of the most effective techniques for improving young learners’ communicativecompetencies in English. Although many studies have discussed the technique, few studies have mentioned teachers’ perceptions regarding the employment of songs in teaching listening to young learners in the context of Vietnam. To investigate teachers’ perceptions of using songs in teaching listening to young learners, this study was conducted with a mixed-method approach using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with 55 teachers from an English language center in Tra Vinh Province. The results indicated positive perceptions from teachers about utilizing songs in teaching listening to young learners. The teachers tended to enjoy integreating songs in their teaching listening activities. From the findings, the paper concludes by suggesting more research within the state school context specifically targeting teaching listening skills for othergrades using songs.

This study aims to find a suitable feed for the maturation of snakehead (Channa lucius) cultured in pond systems. The experiment was designed randomly in two different treatments, trash fish (treatment 1) and pelletfeed (treatment 2), respectively. Each treatment was repeated three times. The weight of females selected for the experiment was about 102 ± 3,12g. Environmental factors were controlled in an appropriate range for fish growth and mature during the experiment. After 120 days of rearing, the final values of gonad somatic index of fish in treatment 1 and treatment 2 were respectively 3.61 ± 1.1 and 3.54 ± 1.8%. Condition factors of fish in treatment 1 and treatment 2 were 0.0093 ± 0.0013; 0.0095 ± 0.0008, respectively. Absolute fecundity of the fish in treatment 1 was 41,951 ± 7,820 eggs/kg, whereas this value in treatment 2 was 42,106 ± 7,201 eggs/kg. Relative fecundity of the fish in treatment 1 and treatment 2 were 5,762 ± 1,580 and 4,296 ± 737 eggs/fish,respectively. There was no significant difference (p>0.05) in the maturity rate of fish in treatment 1 and treatment 2, which were 75.0 ± 0.38% and 72.7 ± 0.28%, respectively. The results gained from this study indicated that both treatments (treatment 1 and treatment 2) were equally good for fish maturational characteristics of snakehead (Channa lucius).

Recently, permeable concrete has been considered one of the "Best Management Practices" in rainwater collection and cleaning. The outstanding properties of this type of concrete are its relatively high porosity (typically 15 ÷ 30% in volume) and the linking/connection of the internal pore system resulting in high waterpermeability and retention. However, one of the limitations to the widespread application of this eco-friendly material is the decrease of permeable capacity over time due to the clogging materials and the lack of regular maintenance. This paper performs an experimental approach for manufacturing permeable concrete that has both high water permeability and meets the strength requirement (1). At the same time, the influence of clogging sand and typical maintenance methods on the infiltration rate of permeable or pervious concrete is presented (2). Based on the literature review and obtained experimental results in this study, maintenance measures to ensure the required permeability for urban surface structures and sustainable surface waterdrainage are also proposed (3).

By using a cross-sectional study, this study aimed to determine the ratio of occupational stress, stress levels and the relationship between stress status and social characteristics of the sample, factors at work, as well as howsecondary school teachers respond to stress in Tra Cu District, Tra Vinh Province. The study conducted a survey to investigate 466 teachers currently teaching at 14 secondary schools in Tra Cu District, Tra Vinh Province, from May 2020 to June 2020. Research results showed that the percentage of teachers who suffered mild stressand severe stress was 18.9% and 8.1%, respectively. The signs of stress in teachers correlated with several factors such as job demand, work control and ways of coping at work. When the average score of the assessment “job demand” or “work control” increased by one point, the rate of stress on teachers was reduced by 23% (95% CI: 0.73 – 0.81) and 12% (95% CI: 0.84 – 0.93) respectively. By contrast, the average score of “confrontation” increased by one point leading to 3.21 times higher (95% CI: 2.61 – 3.96) possibility of causing stress. As well as the average score of "avoidance" increased by one point, the possibility of causing stress in teachers increased 3.03 times (95% CI: 2.45 – 3.74). The findings showed that mental health problems inteachers at secondary schools, in general and in Tra Cu District, Tra Vinh Province in particular, had not received sufficient attention. Therefore, the problems should be taken seriously not only by teachers school administration.

This study analyzes factors affecting bad debt ratio at joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam. The research collected data from reports of 26 Vietnamese joint-stock commercial banks operating continuously from 2010 to 2020. The research results show the bank size and ratio, bad debt in the previous year, and provision for credit risks had a positive effect on the bad debt ratio of banks. At the same time, the research results show that the inflation rate, unemployment rate, and exchange rate negatively affect the bad debt ratio of banks. In addition, the research results show that GDP growth, credit growth, bank profitability, and nominal interestrates show no clear impacts on the bad debt ratio of banks. From obtained results, the study proposes suggestions and recommendations to limit the bad debt ratio of banks.

Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) fuel is currently an energy source being widely applied in many fields in Vietnam, making a significant contribution to the development of the national economy. This paper presents research results of applying LPG fuel used in motorbikes. The traditional liquid fuel system (gasoline) on a motorbike was replaced by an electronically controlled LPG fuel injection system. LPG fuel is designed to inject into the intake manifold. The injection quantity and injection timing are calculated and controlled by the electronic control unit through the calculation and analysis of the input of key parameters such as intake air pressure and temperature, throttle position, engine speed, and camshaft position. The testing results on real roads in an urban area show that the motorbike operates stably on flat and uphill roads. In addition, the cost of LPG fuelconsumption is less than that of the gasoline fuel consumption.
