This qualitative study explores the impact of a didactic sequence based on the theory of didactic situations on the learning of the van der Pol equation and its solution using the Haar wavelet method among undergraduate students in Mathematics and Physics at the Technological University of Pereira. The study objectives focus on identifying students’ strengths and challenges, assessing collaborative and individual competencies, and evaluating proficiency in applying the Haar wavelet method to solve the equation. A sample of five students actively participated in all phases of the Didactic Situation, which included action, formulation, validation, and institutionalization. The results indicate that the carefully structured didactic sequence significantly improved students’ understanding and engagement with the van der Pol equation and Haar wavelet method. The inclusion of real-world applications and interactive approaches facilitated effective learning strategies. Overall, this study highlights the effectiveness of the theory of didactic situations-based didactic sequence in fostering a deeper appreciation and comprehension of complex mathematical concepts among Mathematics and Physics undergraduates. This research contributes to the enrichment of the academic journey, creating a captivating realm of mathematical beauty and scientific wonder for both students and educators. This paper presents the procedures for constructing a social accounting matrix (SAM) for Tunisia for 2015, called SAM-WATER 2015. The general structure of the matrix, the stages of development, and the different sources of data used are presented. The purpose of this matrix is to provide an up-to-date database that can be used by Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models to simulate the socioeconomic impact of Tunisian water policy, and in particular irrigation water, to address the many problems that this sector suffers. Furthermore, this research focuses in particular on the role that recycled wastewater, as an unconventional water source, can play in this policy. The main features of this research are twofold. First, the production factor account of this matrix includes two types of water: raw water (for agricultural and non-agricultural use) and treated wastewater. Second, the activity account distinguishes between agricultural branches that use only raw water and those that use both raw irrigation water and treated wastewater. In addition to these agricultural branches, the activity account explicitly includes the production and distribution of the drinking water sector. In total, SAM-WATER 2015 includes 24 production activity accounts, 24 goods and services accounts, 6 production factors, 4 institutions, 1 tax and duties account, and a capital accumulation account. This disaggregation allows us to gain insight into the water cycle in Tunisia, which in turn allows us, through the scenarios envisaged in the CGE models, to examine the socioeconomic impact of the water policies in Tunisia. Keywords: social accounting matrix, water management, treated wastewater, agricultural activities. https://doi.org/10.55463/issn.1674-2974.50.8.5
https://doi.org/10.55463/issn.1674-2974.50.8.5

Regardless of the term coinage, this article is a story of adding variables that act in a similar way to the “s” in the Laplace transform. This idea is similar to the avoiding of points in improper integration, but instead of taking limits, the endpoints of each maximum integrable interval are made to be variables, but they still preserve the orders. The result is here called a parametric integral. It is applied here to Fourier series transform as an example. Therefore, some functions that formerly had no Fourier series expansion may no longer exist if one employs parametric integration. The resulting transform has advantages in terms of definability and strength. In definability because the transform exists for more functions than even for the well-known Fourier transform. It gives hope for solving more problems that may be of certain practical interests, especially when endpoint variables in the solution are replaced by respective limiting processes. The possibility that a solution still contains non-eliminable variables may lead to interesting non-standard analysis with the parameters as new “numbers”, some of which are given here. The parameters may also serve in determining the partial inverses of the transform. Keywords: Fourier series expansion, Fourier series transform, half-range expansion, Laplace transform, parametric integration. https://doi.org/10.55463/issn.1674-2974.50.8.13

Building a mature professional project in a world where change is a lived reality presents a significant challenge. Faced with the constant updating of education programs to align with the fast-paced and unpredictable job market, a high school student reveals a genuine need for assistance in developing a suitable career choice. Given the necessity for efficient guidance, multiple stakeholders come into play: families and close persons, peers, educational institutions, and career advisors. This study aims to develop career guidance for learners to empower them to interpret their environment and discover and control their resources. We conducted a survey involving seventy-five high school students to investigate the development of students’ projects as they engage with two crucial institutions in their lives: the family and the school, in addition to various information sources provided by the students. Our subsequent focus is on how these elements intersect with individual characteristics. Employing a quantitative approach, we conducted structured interviews to understand the influence of various stakeholders on the students’ project development. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained results underscore the paramount role of families in shaping the projects of two-thirds of the students in our sample while assigning limited influence on the educational institution and the school career guidance system. This study enabled us to uncover students’ professional preferences and identify the various sources of information deemed reliable when making career choices. Mobile wireless sensor networks (MWSNs) are a new development of static wireless sensor networks that allow the mobility of sensor nodes. Mobile sensor nodes are fundamental components of MWSNs. Because of this mobility of sensor nodes, the link between sensor nodes frequently changes, and packet loss occurs. Despite the packet loss of MWSNs, they also face challenges in energy consumption, communication overhead, and others. This research aims to analyze the performance of the hierarchical routing graph construction (HRGC) routing scheme. Its working mechanism and network structure suit all real-time applications with involved mobility. We discuss the limitations of the HRGC scheme theoretically and propose an improved routing scheme for data transmission in MWSNs based on HRGC. It should overcome the main limitations of HRGC, such as high data communication overhead, high energy consumption during network maintenance, data transmission process, and route failure issues due to mobility. : One of the challenges in managing central and regional government relations in Indonesia is maintaining the unity of the state goals within the framework of a unitary state. General government affairs are a form of policy implemented by the government of the Republic of Indonesia to address this challenge. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the policy of general government affairs in local government through an analysis of implementing the Program of National Vigilance and Facilitation of Social Conflict Resolution by the Municipal Government of Bekasi. This study employed a qualitative approach with an investigative design and included, as the primary data, in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders. Then, a review of government literature and documents relevant to the theme of this research provided the secondary data. The study results showed that implementing general government affairs in Bekasi City was not going well. The disharmony in policy formulation and inconsistency in policy implementation, both from the content dimension and the context of policy implementation, caused the affairs that were not running well in Bekasi City. Future research can use the findings of this study as an initial assumption to see the implementation of general government affairs in all local governments in Indonesia.
