Marketing decision analysis, operation performance, and business model innovation are increasingly important elements of fan economic theory which means that the fans will support their favorite celebrity or brand with money, and much attention has been paid to the impacts of avatars. This study explores the structural relationship of private-brand avatar consistency, private-brand attractiveness, advertising attitudes, brand association, private-brand loyalty, and repurchase intention. The study found private-brand avatar consistency and private-brand attractiveness directly influence advertising attitudes and brand association, advertising attitudes, and brand association positively affect private-brand loyalty, and private-brand loyalty significantly and positively affects repurchase intention. It is particularly important for a corporation that wants to create a private-brand avatar, to consider the extent of consistency and attractiveness of private-brand avatar.

In this paper, a new type of service robot has been developed, which is mainly aimed at the development of beauty salons. In the past, beauty salon service robots have only fixed model hair introduction and mobile belt function, and the most important innovative concept of the robot developed in this paper is to achieve real-time use of the customer's own avatar to use different hairstyles, to achieve customers and hair stylists more accurate choice of suitable hairstyle effect. After questionnaire survey and analysis, it is found that beauty salons attach the most importance to the functional richness of service robots, and in the comparative analysis of functional preferences, it is found that providing customers with hair reference is the most important function in all positions. For the results of the study, it can indeed provide a reference for subsequent robot design.

The emergence of COVID-19 at the end of 2019 will undoubtedly have a huge impact on the world economy. The epidemic situation that has not been controlled for more than one and a half years will continue to affect the normal return to work and rehabilitation of the people. In this paper, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis will be used to analyze the situation and causes of the economy and unemployment rate in the middle and later stages of the epidemic, and make a brief prediction of the future form. This paper finds that, at present, although the economy and unemployment rate have picked up, it is still not optimistic. Countries should respond to the new round of crisis according to the world and national conditions.

Coastal tourism, especially in the seaside township, has rapidly developed in the recent years. In addition to fishing industry, the development of tourism activities has become an income-generating method for local economy. This empirical study illustrates how a coastal township selects an appropriate tourism development solution using a simple group decision making method to replace the use of the traditional Delphi method or public hearing. The attitudes of the residents were surveyed in regards towards the costal tourism stimulus package implemented for half of a year. The discussions derived from the results can be used as a reference to upgrade the effectiveness of sustainable coastal tourism and regional economic development at the township level, as well as to properly respond to the needs of residents.

This paper aims to study the relationship between the structure of the board and corporate performance in crisis. More specifically, the paper investigates whether CEO duality, board independence, board size and share concentration have an impact on corporate performance in a stock market crash. Furthermore, this paper tests whether state ownership and firm age will moderate this effect. Based on the panel data in 2007, 2008 and 2015, the empirical evidence suggests that CEO duality and share concentration positively affect corporate performance, while board independence works in the opposite direction. SOE and firm age are also confirmed to play a moderating role.

This paper examines the association between gender diversity and firm performance for Chinese listed companies. Gender diversity effect is divided into monitoring effect and executive effect. The former one refers to woman as an independent director, while the later one is identified as woman as a high-position manager in company. In a sample of Chinese companies that issued IPOs since 2016, this study shows that, on average, female independent directors have no significant impact on firm-performance. However, there is a strong correlation between the number of women executives and corporate return on equity. It could be taken to suggest that Chinese listed companies do benefit from increasing gender diversity in the senior management teams, which could complement their rather poor corporate governance practices.

This study investigates the proper model to predict Pinduoudo’s user growth model and the business meaning it contains. Two methods are used in this article: the first one is the Susceptible Infected Recovered model usually used to predict the development of a pandemic, the second one is the Bass model introduced by Frank Bass, which is frequently used to simulate the life cycle of durable products. The results show that the Bass model fits well during the whole developing process of Pinduoduo while SIR is only suitable for the company before its peak. Our finding discovers the Pinduoduo has a two-staged user developing model with a business model combined with traits from both the spread of virus and regular online and offline products, providing a proper prediction model for Pinduoduo’s user development as well as a new understanding of its business model for entrepreneurs and investors while filling the gap of this field of research.

Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the world economy as a whole, including China, and the impact on the film industry is inevitable. This article studies the impact of Covid-19 on cinema ticket sales and industry development. Using data and graphic analysis, it shows the changes in movie theater ticket sales, screen numbers, national film production, and so on before and after the epidemic. It finds that Covid-19 had a serious negative impact on the box office and the film industry, and the recovery was pretty slow.

Intelligent packaging is one of the main technologies that achieve to make our lives more convenient in recent decades. People are paying attention to the safeness that packaging can offer, especially during the pandemic. This paper collected and analyzed the research results of intelligent packaging in the field of food in recent years through journals, network reports and other channels before the research. We found several ways of interacting, for such as QR codes, RFID tags and smartphones. Regardless of the progress in the area of food intelligent packaging, some problems appeared, such as the high costs and simplification of the methods. The final discussion states that the interaction way could be more diverse, or more technologies could be used to improve packaging’s efficiency. Further researches and experiments may need in order to fulfill the application of future technologies and progress.

This article explores the technological innovation capability of China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from the perspective of macro-industry, and establishes an evaluation index system that includes three dimensions: technological innovation foundation, technological innovation input and technological innovation output. Through the principal component analysis of the data from 2009 to 2018, it is found that the overall technological innovation capacity of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry under the combined effect of the three dimensions has increased year by year, and the efficiency of technological innovation output has increased rapidly.
