Network coordination with minimum risk of information sharing 信息共享风险最小的网络协调

This paper presents a general approach to coordinate a divergent supply network with one supplier and some manufacturers. Our objective is to show that network coordination can be achieved without sharing the strategic information which can be considered as a risk for independent organizations.

A hybrid ant colony and genetic algorithm to solve the container stacking problem at seaport terminal 基于蚁群算法和遗传算法的港口码头集装箱堆垛问题求解

This article addresses the container storage problem (CSP) in a port terminal. The good management of the storage space is essential to ensure the productivity of a port. This explains the usefulness of studying this problem. In this paper, we consider a modern container terminal which uses straddle carriers instead of internal trucks. We propose a linear mathematical model which takes into account operational constraints and minimizes the total distance traveled by straddle carriers between the quays and the container yard. For the numerical resolution, we design an effective hybrid ant colony and genetic algorithm (HAC/GA). Numerical simulations and comparisons made with CPLEX show that this algorithm gives very good results.

Personal air vehicle (PAVE) application in Malaysia 个人飞行器(PAVE)在马来西亚的应用

Transportation has become a huge necessity in our life today, which is instrumental to create greater socioeconomic opportunities. As the world progresses, transportation systems will undergo paradigm shifts to suit with changing requirements. Personal transportation is often preferred to the public transport and to date, most of them have been made on the ground through roads. However, with the increasing traffic volume, the average time spent travelling on roads has significantly increased for the same amount of distance travelled. It has already been proposed that utilization of the possible third dimension of transportation system, which is the air transport, can facilitate in supporting the personal transportation and subsequently alleviate this problem. This notion gives birth to the design concepts of the personal air vehicle (PAVE) that is envisioned to operate synergistically with ground and air infrastructures. This paper aims to preliminarily study and analyze the potential benefits of having PAVE option in Malaysia for domestic travel and how its performance will fare in comparison to the existing ground transportation options. The results of travel time and cost comparisons highlight the potential of PAVE application for the domestic transportation in Malaysia, particularly for personal travel need.

Impact of means and resources pooling on supply-chain management: Case of large distribution 手段和资源汇集对供应链管理的影响:以大型分销为例

The aim of this study is to find the impact of means and resources pooling on the logistics networks. In fact, the pooling of resources and means, allows sharing resources and means in the logic of quality improvement and cost reduction, it will ensure a better functioning of the various operations management. In this context, we evaluate the difference between the actual situation and future situation of a firm by adopting the phenomenon of mass and that of the pooling. These results will be evaluated on the various costs associated with the company. However, our goal is to identify the different gains induced by the change of the organization of the logistics network of the firm. By this, we will try to optimize the various costs and more specifically transportation costs.

An investigation of government and private hospitals' supply chain management 政府与民营医院供应链管理的调查研究

Health services have exceptional importance in service industries since they serve human health and public welfare. Successful health services are required to be of high quality, efficient and consistent, while economics principles are taken into account. Supply chain management is considered as a mean to attain all of these conditions. Considering that logistics management is an important function in hospital management, this paper examines the potential reasons for logistical differences between government and private hospitals in Erzincan, Turkey. There are different variables that may cause these differences such as: a logistics department's area of responsibility, like procurement, goods receiving, internal distribution, and information technology systems; the quantity of pharmaceutical products distributed; the level of corporation among hospitals and their suppliers; the previous and future plans of hospitals in developing the logistics management. Therefore, this study provides an appraisal of healthcare supply chain management by underlining the areas of improvements and determining obstacles for applying logistics management practices.

Evaluating a city's level of adaptability to urban freight transport good practices implementation, applying the Adaptability index 运用适应性指数评估一个城市对城市货运良好实践实施的适应性水平

In view of the fast growth of cities combined with the growing needs of city dwellers, the problem of efficient functioning of goods transport and distribution in urban areas is gaining more and more importance. It results in the need to search for methods and techniques that enable effective implementation of measures (solutions) aimed at streamlining and optimising urban freight transport systems. The basis of many practical implementations is the adaptive approach focused on good practices. Usually in these cases the adaptability level of the implemented measures is taking to the account. This paper is focused on the proposal of a method which expand this approach with the adaptability of the city as the environment of implementation. Proposed method makes it possible to implement good practices in the area of urban freight transport on the basis of the city adaptability level assessment by the utilization of the author's indicator named Adaptability Index.

Particle swarm optimization approach for resolving the cutting stock problem 求解截料问题的粒子群优化方法

We propose in this paper a one dimensional cutting stock problem encountered in a large manufacturer of multi-usable cables. The problem consists in the post-production process where a variety of orders of multi-sized sets of cables should be satisfied. We developed a solution method based on a particle swarm optimization approach that takes into account the characteristics of the specific problem. We assume that the manufacture produce cables sets having the same length. The reduction of the wastage is tackled which is successfully tested in this paper. A mathematical model of the problem is developed, and results on a wide variety of instances and comparisons with other works found in the literature are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our algorithm in solving the cutting stock problem.

Intelligent parking management system by multi-agent approach: The case of urban area of Tunis 基于多智能体方法的智能停车管理系统——以突尼斯市区为例

By coordination and cooperation between multi-agents, this paper proposes the network of intelligent agents which can reduce the search time needed to finding a parking place. Based on multi-agents model, the fined solution is designed to help drivers in finding a parking space at anytime and anywhere. Three services are offered: the search for a vacant place, directions to a parking space and booking a place for parking. The results of this study generated by the platform MATSim transport simulation, show that our approach optimizes the operation of vehicles in a parking need with the aim of reducing congestion, and improve traffic flow in urban area. A comparison between the first method where the vehicles are random and the second method where vehicles are steered to vacant parking spaces shows that the minimization of time looking for a parking space could improve circulation by reducing the number of cars in the morning of 2% and 0.7% of the evening. In addition, the traffic per hour per day was reduced by approximately 4.17%.

A new personalization approach by case-based reasoning and fuzzy logic 基于案例推理和模糊逻辑的个性化新方法

Nowadays, facing the diversity of users profiles, the emergence of new technologies (mobile phones, PDA...) and the variety of environments (office, home...), searching for relevant information becomes a very difficult process. In this context, personalization can be an appropriate solution to overcome this issue. It aims to provide the user with relevant information corresponding to his/her preferences. Our contribution is a new personalization approach based on both case-based reasoning and fuzzy logic. The aim is to recommend a personalized itinerary taking in consideration the context of use. Finally, we present some experimentation results in the transport field to validate the mentioned approach.
如今,面对用户形态的多样化、新技术的出现(手机、PDA……)和环境的多样化(办公室、家庭……),查找相关信息成为一个非常困难的过程。在这种情况下,个性化可能是克服此问题的适当解决方案。它旨在为用户提供与他/她的喜好相对应的相关信息。我们的贡献是一种基于案例推理和模糊逻辑的新的个性化方法。其目的是在考虑使用环境的情况下推荐个性化的行程。最后,我们给出了输运领域的一些实验结果来验证上述方法。

A linguistic approach to the organization of drug flows: The case of CHU Habib Bourguiba 毒品流动组织的语言学方法:朱·哈比卜·布尔吉巴的案例

Hospitals use logistics within a specific framework in order to improve their performances and their efficiency. However, pharmaceutical logistics seems to be a recent concern in hospitals, due to the lack of medicinal products which can block the care service operation. So, health-care systems must be improved to cure dysfunctions and to be adapted to technological changes and contextual modifications. Thus, the choice of the best solution to organize flows of drugs between a hospital pharmacy and care services can be considered as a real problem of multicriteria decision making, where each decision maker expresses his preferences based on his own knowledge. Then, the extension of Promethee method by using model 2 tuples and the linguistic hierarchy, is largely likely to improve the quality of the evaluation and having for result a more realistic ranking which takes into account the inaccuracy of data. Consequently, the developed approach can be also applied to other real decision problems.
