Introduction: There has been a sudden, unexplained surge in dermatophytoses in India since past 5 years. T. rubrum being the most common etiological agent isolated from clinically diagnosed lesions of cutaneus dermatophytosis. It has a significantly higher capacity of transmission than other anthropophilic dermatophytes.Aim and Objective: To study the Antifungal Susceptibility Pattern , Molecular Profiling and its Sequencing Analysis of  Trichophyton rubrum isolated from human Sample.Material and Methods: This was a a prospective study carried out in the Department of Microbiology at Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre Mandhana, Kanpur for a period of 1 year i.e, March 2017 to March 2018.  A total of 375 clinically suspected cases of superficial fungal infection were collected with proper informed consent. Dermatophytosis was confirmed in cases by direct microscopy and culture methods. Antifungal drug susceptibility profiles,  MIC of isolates were 50 90 determined using the broth microdilution method according to the CLSI guidelines. The DNA isolation was done using the Qiagen DNA extraction kit followed by the PCR. The sequencing methods were used for the genetic analysis of virulence gene for the confirmation.Results: Out of the total of 375 clinically suspected cases of superficial fungal infection 31 isolates of Trichophyton rubrum were studied.  The ratio of Male were more 27 (87%) as compared to the Female  4 (12.9% ). The maximum number of isolates was found in the Skin 28 (90.3%) followed by the Nail 3 (9.6%). The ITZ was most sensitive toward T. rubrum than KTZ, TBF, and FCZ. The molecular characterization for the detection of  18s gene was performed  which was confirmed by the Sequencing Analysis.Conclusion: Antifungal resistance against T. rubrum is increasing over the last few decades due to genetic diversity in the fungal genome. The molecular identification is a gold standard technique for the identification of T. rubrum allowing important factor in providing fungal infection prevention and treatment approaches.

A Systematic Review Of Metallic Nanoparticles: Synthesis, Biological Activities & Applications 金属纳米粒子的合成、生物活性及应用综述

Metallic nanoparticles (MNP) have captivated scientist for over a century and are now profoundly utilized in biomedical sciences and engineering. MNPs interact with key cellular organelles and biomolecules, including DNA, enzymes, ribosomes, and liposomes, which can have an impact on gene expression, oxidative stress, protein and enzyme activation, and cell membrane permeability. It has been shown that the cellular metabolites of living organisms like bacteria, yeast, fungi, and plant cells can convert inorganic metal ions into metal NPs. By utilizing biological agents in green chemistry, metallic nanoparticles are produced that have less adverse effects and are more effective against cancer cells. These nanoparticles can physically infiltrate cancer cells and kill them by activating a variety of biochemical pathways, including apoptosis, necrosis, and autophagy. This review focuses on metal nanoparticles (copper, gold, and silver) and their usefulness in treating endemic diseases including cancer, hepatitis, and malaria. In the near future, metal NPs may also be a successful and affordable alternative for treating drug-resistant bacterial infections.

This study aims to analyse the impact of deferred expense, current tax expense, accrual basis, and audit quality on earnings management. The object of ths research is a manufacturing company listed on the IDX for period of 2019-2021. Purposive sampling was employed in the research sample selection method to collect data from up to 30 manufacturing companies. The binary logistic regression test with SPSS assistance was used to examine the hypotheses. The examination of the data reveals that the management of company earnings is significantly impacted by deferred expense, current tax expense, accrual basis, and audit quality.

Effect Of Omega-3 Fatty Acids On Cardiovascular Protection- A Randomised Controlled Clinical Interventional Study Omega-3脂肪酸对心血管保护作用的随机对照临床干预研究

There is a great deal of public belief in the cardiovascular benefits of omega-3 fats. Recent trials of omega-3 fatty acids in cardiovascular issues are unclear or failed to show the significant benefit for reducing cardiovascular events. To perform a human trial of omega 3 fatty acids supplementation to test its effectiveness on cardiovascular diseases. A randomized interventional study was carried out in 145 patients in the age group of 18 or older at any risk of cardiovascular disease. Treatment period of 6 months with supplementation of daily dose of 360 mg of EPA and 480 mg of DHA for one group and to the other group, atorvastatin 10 mg was given. Biochemical and clinical evaluation was performed for the baseline, 3rd and the 6th months to assess the effectiveness of omega 3 fatty acids on cardiovascular diseases. The changes in the biochemical parameters total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides among the omega 3 fatty acid group and statin group were as 218.17 vs 204.45, 55.24 vs 60.3, 142.9 vs 132.41and 168.95 vs 152.5 respectively with a p value of 0.0001. Omega 3 supplements have little or no effect on the risk of cardiovascular diseases according to the research. The better evidence identified in this research does not demonstrate any cardiovascular protection with the supplementation of omega 3 fats.

Plants are the major source of energy for humans. Leafy vegetables are rich sources of nutrients, fibers, minerals and trace elements which help in treatment of diseases and maintaining good health. However heavy metal contamination due to environmental pollution results in poisonous and hazardous effects. This study is based on the concentration of heavy metals in leafy vegetables in a village named Kundra located in district Koraput, 42 kilometers from Koraput of Odisha, India, which has a population of about 5326.About 130 samples were examined and studied from the local market of Kundra. These leafy vegetables commonly called Lal bhaji sago (Red Spinach), Muniga Sago (Drumstick Leaves) and Methi sago (Fenugeek leaves) were used for this study. The samples were cut air dried for four days. Next it was washed in 20% v/v solution of nitric acid, dried sample was then grounded into powder, it was sieved through nylon sieve of size 2mm. The digestion of the sample involves 20 ml of concentrated nitric acid, perchloric acid, and hydrochloric acid in the ratio of 10:1:3, followed by drying at 105 degree Celsius on a hot plate. The obtained solution was than filtered, the residue was than analyzed using digital spectrophotometer by continuous dilution method. The concentration of Iron, copper and zinc was determined, which constituted below permissible limit according to World Health Organization. Monitoring heavy metals in vegetables is essential; as these are considered to be a major indicator of environmental pollution.

The traditional medicine of India, Ayurveda, discusses the use of herbals for beauty, which is based on conventional wisdom. An effective and powerful technology in the cosmetics field is herbal cosmetics. There is nothing more ancient than humanity and civilization than the concept of beauty and cosmetics. Therefore, many of them use beauty products which contain herb that order to keep their beauty and youth. Nowadays, organic cosmetics are becoming more accessible to the common people since they are expected to have fewer side effects, as well as an increased level of safety and security. We aim in this study to develop a general-use herbal oil in which a variety of herbs that are readily available to us are utilized and evaluation of the herbal oil formulation was conducted by determining various parameters, such as viscosity, saponification value, pH, etc.

The research aims to identify the effect of Rehabilitation Exercises Program With Use of Therapeutic Massage, Electrical Stimulation to Restore the Efficiency of the Rotator Cuff Muscles of the Shoulder Joint for Dolphin Swimmers, and this is achieved through the following subobjectives: Developing the muscle strength of the muscle groups working on the shoulder joint, improving the flexibility of the shoulder joint by increasing the range of motion in the positive direction (flexion and extension), reducing the degree of pain caused by inflammation of the shoulder joint, The experimental method was used in the experimental design of one group by applying Pre and Post measurements, and the research sample was chosen intentionally from young dolphins swimming with pain in the shoulder joint in Dakahlia Governorate, and those who frequented the fitness centers At Mansoura Sports Stadium, numbering (10) juniors and their ages range from 10 Between (13-15) years old and registered in Egyptian Swimming Federation for the 2021/2022 training season, Homogeneity was performed on the research sample in the basic measurements (age, height, weight, training age, arm length, shoulder width, body mass index), as well as homogeneity in the variables of muscle strength, shoulder joint flexibility and pain degree for the sample under investigation, The most important results indicated that the rehabilitation exercise program that includes strength and flexibility training with the use of therapeutic massage and the proposed electrical stimulation led to the development of balanced muscle strength of the working (motor) and opposite (reverse) muscles near the affected shoulder joint, as well as increasing the range of motion of the shoulder joint for dolphin swimmers in It also helped reduce the sensation of pain in the affected shoulder joint, and restore the relative recovery of the rotator muscles affected by inflammation in the shoulder joint of dolphin swimmers , The researchers recommend the need to educate injured swimmers to undergo rehabilitation sports programs after injury, as it helps them to return quickly to practice specialized sports activity as soon as possible and at a level close to their level before the injury .

Objective: In recent times, there have been a shift in the focus of health sector towards respectful maternity care. The concept of respectful maternity care is inclined towards client centred care with the right of women to make informed decisions concerning birth choices. The right of a woman to decide which position to adopt during childbirth has been limited the supine position in most maternity service centres and hospital settings. This study sought to investigate pregnant women’s preferred birthing positions in a tertiary health care facility in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria Materials and methods This study utilized the descriptive cross-sectional design to recruit 169 pregnant women using the purposive sampling techniques. The instrument for data collection was a structured and validated questionnaire. Results: Finding showed that 89.3% had good knowledge on birthing positions. Also, a good number of participants preferred the squatting position and position change as they deem comfortable during childbirth. Supine positions where the least preferred. Additionally, most participants agreed that level of education, age, previous childbirth familiarities, place of birth and support from midwives were factors that could influenced their choice of birthing positions. Conclusion: Based on these findings, the researchers recommended that midwives update their knowledge on the different birthing positions in order to educate and assist pregnant women who may desire these positions during childbirth. This will encourage the utilization of Skilled Birth Attendants (SBAs) which will help reduce maternal morbidity and mortality that would occur during childbirth on the overall.

Background:  Improving healthcare facilities and socioeconomic parameters, have increased the life expectancy, and thus the size of geriaritic population. Geriaritic dermatosis along with other geriaritic diseases, are also more prevalent. Aims and objectives: To determine the pattern of dermatosis in geriaritic subgroup of our population Material and methods: This study involving 300 patients over 60 years of age, was conducted in the outpatient department (OPD) of dermatology of a secondary care centre. A detailed history and examination of cutaneous and systemic complaints was done. Diagnosis was done on clinical assessment, and investigations  were done whenever required. All the findings were recorded and analysed . Results: Out of the total of 300 patients, 176 were males as compared to 124 females (1.41:1). Mean age was 66.92 + 6.31years, with majority belonging to under 70years of age (62.66%). Most common dermatosis were infections followed by eczemas. Commonest presenting symptom was pruritus (68.33%). Systemic complaints were present in 166(55.33%) patients, hypertension (26.33%) being the commonest. Conclusion: Proper management of these geriaritic dermatosis requires enhanced awareness and knowledge about their pattern and prevalence.
