The article deals with the optimization of processes in the education of military pilots in the conditions of introducing new aeronautical supersonic technology into air traffic in the context of increasing the performance of pilots and air traffic safety. It analyses and evaluates the theoretical and practical part of the training of military pilots at the Faculty of Aeronautics in the past and compares it with existing educational processes abroad. It proposes variants of pilot training for the needs of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic in the pilot-expert in piloting a tactical aircraft specialization in which the direction and strategy of pilot training for the needs of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic will be determined.

The article deals with the relationship between aircraft failure and its impact on the change of maintenance in real operation. It analyzes possible solutions to the fault, quantifies the economic costs of their activation and describes in more detail the actually implemented supplementation to the maintenance manual. In the paper a specific defect on the landing gear of a military transport helicopter Mi-171 Sh, which resulted in the suspension of operations of all helicopters of the type, will be described.

This paper focuses on verification of a 6-DoF mathematical model built in the Matlab/Simulink. The model is based on coefficients of a small UAV “Skydog”. The verification consists of 3 experiments, where each consists of 3 different simulations. The simulations were done at different velocities to verify aircraft’s behavior in different conditions. The verification is necessary for a clarification of a functionality of the model. The paper also provides theoretical description of building a 6-DoF model and necessary coefficients for the model. Simulation results are presented and give proper view of model’s functionality and behavior based on different inputs.

The paper presents one of the possible approaches to assessing the effects of the construction of a logistics center in a selected location on the operational parameters of Distance Measuring Equipment (DME). When examining the impact of the logistics center on the operation of DME, at least two major negative factors were found. These factors include loss of signal due to shadowing and signal degradation due to multipath propagation.

Covid’s-19 outbreak everything has changed. Millions of people infected by the virus, national quarantine in different countries, economic crisis all over the world – here are some examples how Sars-cov-2 impacted on different parts of our life. Saving lives is priority for everyone, so governments of different countries took action to stop spreading virus by introducing different restrictions. Social distancing is one of main assumption which can decrease number of people suffering from Covid-19. On the other hand it affected people who avoid going shopping or travelling.Nowadays it is challenging to travel and it doesn’t matter if it is airplane, a train or a bus. No one expected virus could stop the whole world and ground most of air transport. Because of that aviation industry is facing the biggest crisis in history. Still there are a lot of questions how Coronavirus would change aviation industry. Proper sanitary and hygienic conditions will help to convince people to come back on board planes. On the other hand thank to Sars-Cov 2 world will be better prepared for similar events in the future, especially in the age of globalization, where there are a lot of viruses we don’t know, which can be spreading all over the world within couple of hours. That’s why it is really important to draw the right conclusions.

The article deals with the work conception and methodology, which is used for the analyzing, testing and evaluating the measured values during the research. The circadian rhythm is the most important contributor factor, which can impact the physiological and mental condition, work performance and health care of the individual. The jobs, where is need to work in shift, is the best example that the desynchronization of the biological rhythms causes more frequent health care and mental problems that other type of jobs. Consequently, it leads to the worst work performance. The article analyzes the possible optional methods for testing the individual circadian rhythms of air traffic controller’s students.

This work will focus on an overview of current development in hypersonic technology and problems associated with sustained hypersonic flight. The main objective of this work is an overview of engineering challenges that need to be overcome to allow the development of a new era of an ultra-high-speed aircraft with the ability to achieve sustained hypersonic flight. This review of the literature has gathered several important findings.

Healthcare logistics, which is primarily aimed at patient care, represents a number of activities in the area of supply chain management. Hospitals are a key link in the supply chain, where they are the end customer, the supply chain from the manufacturer through all bottlenecks. A complete description of the distribution of medical supplies can be summarized into an external and internal supply chain. The external circuit represents the supply of the necessary commodities and ends at the distribution point. The internal circuit continues to the nursing units of the hospital supply chain. Currently, two basic forms are used for the distribution of supplies to the level of nursing units, through the regions, or through the supply from the humanitarian warehouse. The acquisition, storage, and distribution processes depend on the material availability on the market and the level of the maintained stocks. Modern technologies enable continuous collection of requirements and are the basis of a proactive approach to the solution, which allows the use of all accessible air transport, military and civilian capabilities, according to the criteria of the user or end customer.
