Рассматривается опыт обучения иностранному языку в условиях пандемии коронавирусной инфекции (COVID-19) во время полного перехода высших образовательных учреждений на дистанционное обучение. Переход на полное дистанционное обучение и повсеместное использование электронных цифровых сред и платформ были применены дважды (апрель–май 2020 г., ноябрь–декабрь 2020 г.). В заявленные временные интервалы для эффективной организации учебного процесса по иностранному языку нами была применена технология реверсивного обучения («перевернутый класс»), которая предусматривала, что часть лексико-грамматического материала изучается студентами самостоятельно в удаленном режиме, а время онлайн-занятия посвящено выполнению практических упражнений. Автор подробно описывает названную технологию обучения, представляет её преимущества использования в период дистанционного обучения. Также демонстрирует опыт планирования опережающих домашних заданий и проведения онлайн-занятий по иностранному языку в период коронавирусной инфекции COVID-19. Занятия с использованием реверсивного обучения проходили на базе кафедры иностранных языков и перевода Уральского федерального университета им. первого Президента России Б.Н. Ельцина со студентами экономических специальностей в рамках изучения французского языка. В целях выявления отношения студентов к выбранной технологии обучения нами был проведен опрос, в ходе которого мы установили, что эффективность реализации реверсивного обучения иностранным языкам в период пандемии коронавирусной инфекции зависела от уровня мотивации студентов к изучению дисциплины, наличия четко структурированных опережающих домашних заданий и использования активных методов обучения во время онлайн-занятий. In the context of the global digitalization of the modern world, the pedagogical community faces the challenge of developing forms and methods for the rational interaction of traditional methods and digital technologies. It is a crucial need to find an optimal balance between digital and classical education. The response of linguodidactics to the growing trends of digitalization is to develop and implement effective models of using network resources in language education. The goal of the current research is to identify specific features of the students’ cognitive activity while working with network resources and, on this basis, to develop optimal techniques for the interaction with the information presented through the electronic medium. The revealed peculiarities of cognitive mechanisms involved into processing digital information allowed to develop a set of learning techniques contributing to the development of students’ skills in professionally-oriented communication in a foreign language. The article provides examples of exercises aimed at developing students’ abilities to highlight key points of information, organize, group and differentiate facts and phenomena, structure the obtained data, establish causal rela-tionships, carry out analytical and synthetic comprehension of language material presented through network resources. The experimental training proved that teaching techniques based on taking into account the specifics of interaction with information in a digital format contributes to the intensity of students' cognitive activity while mastering language material. The results of experimental training showed that the rational use of network resources allows to involve students in solving problems that require productive intellectual activity, makes it possible to organize teaching in the way that contributes to the development of the students’ critical, reflective, creative thinking while acquiring skills in a foreign language professionally-oriented discourse. network
