ABSTRACTIn this work, the adsorption of basic fuchsine largely used in industries was studied by Zn/Al-HDL intercalated with diamino-dodecylphosphonic acid (DDPA). The physicochemical characteristics of Zn/Al-DDPA were evaluated by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller method, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and the elementary analysis to determine the rate of grafting. The effect of concentration of fuchsine, reaction times, ionic strength effect and the effect of the temperature were studied. The thermodynamic and kinetic studies were carried out and the results confirmed that all adsorption processes were spontaneous and thermodynamically favorable and that the adsorbent is reusable after three steps of desorption. The best uptake in this study was 90%.

Experiment numerical study of dry sliding wear behavior of epoxy/periwinkles shell particulate composites 环氧树脂/长春花壳颗粒复合材料干滑动磨损性能的实验数值研究

The tribological behavior of epoxy polymer composites reinforced with periwinkle shell particles was studied using a pin-on-disc wear rig under dry sliding conditions. Uncarbonized (UPSp) and carbonized (CPSp) periwinkle shell particle was used in the production of the composites at 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40wt%. The influences of wear parameters like applied load, sliding speed and percentage of periwinkle shell particles addition on the wear rate were investigated. A plan of experiments was performed to acquire data in a controlled way. Scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the worn surface of the samples. Linear regression equation and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were employed to investigate the influence of process parameters on the wear rate of the samples. The carbonized (CPSp) composites have a higher wear resistance than the uncarbonized (UPSp) composites. The predicted wear rate of the epoxy and it composites were found to lie close to that experimentally observed ones. The confirmation of the experiments conduct using ANOVA to verify the optimal testing parameters shows that periwinkle shell particles, sliding speed and applied load had a significant effect on the wear rate. The results show that the addition of periwinkle shell particles as reinforcing materials in epoxy composites increases the wear resistance of the composite greatly.

Photoluminescence investigation of thin film a-Si:H-based structures passivated in cyanide solution a-Si: h基结构薄膜在氰化物溶液中钝化的光致发光研究

We demonstrate the modification of photoluminescence (PL) spectra of Si-based thin film structures caused by the passivation process. The investigated samples consist of thin a-Si:H/ SiC:H layers deposited on clean crystalline Si(100) substrate. The structures were passivated by means of three types of chemical procedures based on aqueous and/or methanol solution of KCN. PL signals consist of a few partially overlapped Gaussian peaks. The shape of the PL spectrum is modified depending on the applied passivation method. This can be interpreted as a result of the diverse influence of the passivation on individual energy peaks. In our opinion, this confirms the assumption that the excited states that are contributing to the intensity of these peaks are localized in different zones of the sample, namely at different depths. We demonstrate the effect of substrate on the layers' structural parameters. Surface roughness was determined using the atomic force microscopy (AFM) method. X-ray diffraction at grazing incidence (XRDG) measurements confirm the non-homogeneity of deposited films that result in zones. The process of passivation modifies the densities of states that generate PL peaks differently in accordance with their localization. The diffusion of cyanide anions CN− in the amorphous matrix of the a-Si:H layer is the mechanism that controls this effect.

Synthesis and characterization of supercapacitive behavior of electrodeposited PANI/Co3O4 layered composite electrode 电沉积聚苯胺/Co3O4层状复合电极的合成及超电容性能表征

Polyaniline (PANI), cobalt oxide (Co3O4) and PANI/Co3O4 layered thin films are successfully synthesized on stainless steel substrate using electrodeposition technique. The electrochemical oxidation (anodic) method is employed for oxidation of layered composite. The structural and morphological studies of these films are investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope. The electrochemical supercapacitive behavior of the films is studied using cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge–discharge measurements in 0.5M Na2SO4 electrolyte bath. The layered composite PANI/Co3O4 electrode shows almost 50% increase in specific capacitance and remarkable enhancement in specific energy and specific power in comparison with the parent Co3O4 electrode. For layered composite electrode after 500 cycles of charge–discharge, it is observed that specific capacitance retains ∼ 100% compared to the first cycle. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is also studied. The simulated values of resistance and capacitance are calculated along with equivalent circuit. Hence, the layered composite PANI/Co3O4 electrode may have great potential application for electrochemical supercapacitors.

Influence of load and sliding distance on the micro-scale abrasive wear behavior of TZNT alloy 载荷和滑动距离对TZNT合金微尺度磨粒磨损行为的影响

The micro-scale abrasive wear behavior of TiZrNbTa (TZNT) alloy in Hank’s solution and distilled water was studied using the TE66 machine. The effect of load and sliding distance was considered. The results of experiments show that the wear volume of the TZNT alloy is increased with increasing distance because of the greater damage, but the wear volume is not present the same regularity as the increase of load due to the effect of several factors. Only three-body abrasive wear is present at the lower load, while the mixed wear mechanism includes three-body and two-body abrasive wears at the higher load. Through observation, the wear appears under the same sliding distance at various simulated body fluids. The wear appearance is related to the wear mechanism. For wastage map, under the conditions of this paper, the majority of the area is medium wastage, the rest is low wastage, and there is no high wastage. The wastage map is related to the wear volume of the alloy under different conditions.

Recent advances in silica-based biosensors: a review 硅基生物传感器研究进展综述

Silica has become a common platform for various catalytic and chemical reactions, biosensor, and drug release owing to its low toxicity, chemical and physical stabilities, large surface area, tunable pore sizes, and well-defined surface chemistry. Therefore, biomolecules encapsulated within a porous silica host has provoked significant interest in the development, application, and market of silica-based biosensors due to its potential application in analytic chemistry and biological science. Considerable progresses have been achieved in past few decades. This review focuses primarily on such advances in synthesis and applications of silica-based biosensors, especially emphasizing development which has occurred in the last 10 years, further driving readers to understand and construct various silica-based biosensors with high sensitivity and high stability.
