This study aimed to evaluate the effects of the application of concentrated sulfuric acid on germination and possible tegumentary anatomical alterations in the overcoming of dormancy of the seeds of Sesbania virgata (Cav.) Pers. For this purpose were used eight different immersion periods (0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 120, 180 and 240 min), assessing the percentage of germination, speed index and average germination time. In addition, for each exposure time, it was evaluated the anatomic changes of the seeds. It was possible to describe four different strata (cuticle waxy layer of palisade cells, osteoesclereídes and a layer of parenchyma cells). The results suggest that the sulfuric acid application of up to 60 minutes is recommended to overcome seed dormancy of S. virgata, since it increases the germination percentage and gives rise to normal seedlings. In addition, it was verified that the exposure of S. virgata seeds to sulfuric acid in periods equal to or greater than 120 minutes, promotes the generation of new abnormal seedlings, as well as to disintegrate the layers of the integument and cause direct damage to the aleurone layer and endosperm. 2 Revista Ouricuri, Juazeiro, Bahia, v.9, n.1. p.001-012. jan./jun., 2019. http://www.revistas.uneb.br/index.php/ouricuri | ISSN 2317-0131

: It´s a biomolecular and cellular approach, in the theme of the health damages produced by pesticides in Bioscience, as an interdisciplinary science, that studies the living beings, their evolution, the environment in which they live, the way they relate, etc. A state-of-the-art research has been carried out on articles published from 1979 to 2019. Since the 1960s, health impacts caused by pesticides have been studied and the population has been given package inserts with guidelines for the most appropriate forms of application of protective measures to be taken by farmers so that these health problems have a lesser impact on their well-being and consumers. Far from being fulfilled these protocols of prevention, entire families, communities and ecosystems in the world; Brazil, are exposed to the damages of these substances that poison and are precursors of death. This article has the general objective of reviewing the studies of the cellular mechanisms and algorithms of how pesticides cause health problems in the last 40 years, in the review of updated scientific researches. In-depth understanding of the synergistic toxicity mechanism of multi-component pesticides plays an important role in the rational use of pesticides and the protection of food safety.

da interação conflituosa com o “todo social”. A fim de entender como se materializam os fatores que implicam na chamada questão quilombola, o presente artigo buscou indicar pontos para um debate visando contribuir com as discussões históricas sobre as comunidades quilombolas no Brasil. Abstract : The issues that cover the situations in which the quilombola communities are involved in Brazil point to several factors of expansion of the horizons of the current analyzes, dialoguing with problems of considerable importance for society. In recent years, studies that have sought to understand the nuances of these problems, have addressed the demands and implications that are present in the long paths taken by quilombola communities, in a process materialized from the social to the legal. In this sense, it is accepted that an analysis of the quilombola question can only be reached from the conception of the existence of an uninterrupted historical conflict, in which these social groups are involved. Thus, we intuit that the dialogical realities involving the quilombola communities in Brazil occur in a complex relation of historical construction of the identity, mediated from the conflictual interaction with the "social whole". In order to understand how the factors that imply the so - called quilombola question materialize, this article sought to indicate points for a debate aiming to contribute to the historical discussions about the quilombola communities in Brazil.

: Ant venom has been investigated as a potential source of peptides with high antimicrobial activity. capillary tube. This tube was placed in contact with distilled water and the extracted substance was impregnated in filter paper. The bioassays were carried out in 500 mL beakers, 10 for each of the two techniques. Both venom extraction techniques were repeated 10 times, for each bioassay, as well as the 10 workers of A. sexdens were collected individually for each experiment and discarded later. Subsequently, the workers' behavior was assessed. For the evaluation of antimicrobial activity, the disk diffusion method was used, based on the inhibition halo against Staphylococcus aureus , Micrococcus luteus , Bacillus subtilis , Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria. The tests did not reveal any repellent action or antibacterial activity for the D. quadriceps venom.

Abstract: The present work aimed to verify the occurrence of demaceous fungi in barbs of wooden gates in the municipality of Soure, the growth of 137 colonies of filamentous fungi, 55 of which belong to the demaceous fungi of the genera: Cladosporium sp., Curvularia sp., Exophiala sp., Fonsecaea sp. and Phialophora sp., which corresponds to 46 out of 111 barbs samples analyzed. The 55 colonies of demaceous fungi found are distributed between the dry seasons of 2018, with 11 colonies observed in urban gates and 15 in the rural zone, drought in 2019, with 4 colonies in the urban area and 12 in the rural area, and rainy 2019, with the growth of 8 colonies in the urban area and 5 in the rural area. Phialophora sp. was the most abundant demaceous fungus genus.
