This study is about grandparental involvement in their children's learning. Its main objective was to find out how the grandparents are involved in their children's learning. It is a qualitative research based on the narrative design. One grandfather, one grandmother, and two grandchildren were purposively selected for in-depth interviews. I used the general inductive approach for coding, categorising and theme generation. The human resource capital approach and the social demand approach were used for analysing the data and drawing conclusion. The grandparents were found involved in motivating their grandchildren, providing proper guidance to them and counselling them in different conditions. They provided emotional and financial support for transforming the grandchildren to human resource capital. They provided different care and practical help to develop behavioural skills on their grandchildren which can contribute for fulfillment of social demand. The grandchildren, their family, the society and the whole country have to recognise the contribution of grandparents properly and pay proper respect to them.

भाषिक विविधता नेपालको मुख्य विशेषता हो । भाषिक विविधतालाई सम्बोधन गर्नका लागि मातृभाषामा शिक्षाकोव्यवस्थालाई संवैधानिक तथा नीतिगत रूपमा सुनिश्चित गरिएको छ । यसका लागि नेपालले विभिन्न अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सन्धि,सम्झौता तथा समझदारी पत्रमा हस्ताक्षर गर्नुका साथै संविधान, ऐन, नियम, पाठ्यक्रम, शैक्षिक योजना तथा कार्यक्रममामातृभाषामा शिक्षाको व्यवस्था गरेको छ तर यस्तो व्यवस्था प्रभावकारी रूपमा कार्यान्वयन हुन सकेको छैन । विगतकोलामो एकभाषिक नीतिको प्रभाव र बहुभाषिक शिक्षाको व्यवहारिक अनुभवको अभावले बहुभाषिकता सम्बोधनमा विभिन्नचुनौतीहरू देखिएका छन् । नेपालको समग्र बहुभाषिकताको भाषिक सर्वेक्षण तथा विश्लेषण नहुनु, अभिभावकहरूमामातृभाषाप्रति अनास्था र अंग्रेजी तथा नेपाली भाषाको मोह हुनु, दक्ष एवम् तालिम प्राप्त जनशक्तिको अभाव, एउटै कक्षामाबहुभाषिक विद्यार्थी हुनु, स्तरीय पाठ्यसामग्रीको अभाव, अधिकांश भाषाको लेख्य रूप नहुनु, लेख्य रूप भएका भाषाको पनिमानक चयनमा समस्या हुनु, लिपिगत समस्या हुनु, आवश्यक पूर्वाधारको कमी तथा सरोकारवाला निकायबिच समन्वयकोअभावजस्ता विभिन्न पक्षहरू मातृभाषामा शिक्षाका लागि चुनौतीका रूपमा रहेको निष्कर्ष निकालिएको छ । प्रस्तुत लेखमातृभाषामा शिक्षाको विद्यमान व्यवस्था र चुनौतीमा केन्द्रित रहेको छ । गुणात्मक अनुसन्धान अन्तर्गत दस्तावेज विश्लेषणढाँचामा आधारित यस लेखमा पुस्तकालयीय अध्ययनबाट सामग्री सङ्कलन गरी व्याख्या विश्लेषण गरिएको छ । {Linguistic diversity is the main feature of Nepal. In order to address linguistic diversity, education in the mother tongue has been constitutionally and politically ensured. For this, Nepal has signed various international treaties, agreements and memoranda of understanding and has made provision for education in mother tongue in constitutions, acts, rules, curricula, educational plans and programs but such arrangements have not been implemented effectively. The impact of the monolingual policy of the past and the lack of practical experience in multilingual education have posed various challenges in addressing multilingualism. Lack of linguistic survey and analysis of overall multilingualism of Nepal, distrust of parents towards mother tongue and love of English and Nepali language, lack of skilled and trained manpower, multilingual students in the same class, lack of standard textbooks, It has been concluded that various aspects such as lack of written form of most of the languages, problems in standard selection of written language, script problems, lack of necessary infrastructure and lack of coordination among the concerned bodies are the challenges for mother tongue education. The present article focuses on the existing system and challenges of education in mother tongue. Based on the document analysis framework under qualitative research, this article analyzes and analyzes material collected from library studies.}

However, the study of the novels of later times confirms that the use of postmodernist tendencies in Nepali novels, which are different from the traditional ones, has become widespread in recent times. Since postmodernism is a collective term for a variety of trends, a wide range of novels have been created within its wide range. He cannot be summed up by a definite temporal word like contemporaneity. Also, contemporaneity is not a doctrinal tendency. Therefore, it is desirable for the critique of Nepali novels to identify its specific trends through a comprehensive study and analysis of recent Nepali novels and to start its starting point. This study focuses on the solution of the problem of how the modern Nepali novel can be divided into phases based on the present-day trends in the later Nepali novels in the present research. In this process, the above problem has been solved on the basis of his analysis of the pre-studies done in the context of the phase division of modern Nepali novels and later novels and by reading the novels with new trends. Having had multicultural, multi-ethnic and multi-religious identities, Nepali communities have their own distinct and interrelated ideologies across communities from where the students and teachers come to interact in the classrooms. Furthermore, the issue of ideological supremacy has been an obvious factor hindering some communities to rise up to the mainstreaming of equal learning opportunities. This paper recollected teachers’ reflections on their teaching events over time in language classrooms and studied the prevalent Nepali academia where the demarcation between the marginalised and privileged groups of learners is realised. The study showed that marginalisation in the classroom is a fundamental occurrence particularly based on cultural identity and gender ideology. Besides, this paper also explained how the predominant phenomena and ideologies of the educational actors play the significant role over some learners to marginalise them from equal educational opportunities in the classrooms, and how critical pedagogy can be instrumental to overcome the situation and bring all the learners within a single boat of dignified learning.

Nepal is a multilingual country. Among the languages spoken here, Darchuleli is used as a social communication language in most parts of Darchula district in the far western region and to some extent in the rest of the province. Nepali language is the most spoken language of communication and official language. Nepali language is spoken in different countries of the world including Nepal. The purpose of this article is to compare the grammatical category of Nepali language and Darchuleli language. A comparative study of Nepali language and Darchuleli language has been done on the basis of grammatical category in accordance with the contemporary method of comparative linguistics using qualitative research method for fulfilling the mentioned objectives. For this article, secondary data has been collected from Darchuleli native speakers using primary material as well as theoretical books on language, grammar and linguistics. According to the mentioned context, there is no grammatical difference in the masculine, causal, tense, side, mood and voice while comparing Darchuleli language with standard Nepali language on the basis of grammatical category in this study. This study investigated one of the main ethical challenges regarding the legitimate role of media in maintaining professional standards and ethics during the COVID-19 outbreak, with a focus on the case of Moroccan media. It principally deals with the conundrum of fake news spread in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, it is apparent that there seems to be hardly an area left untouched by fake news regarding pandemic propagation. One should know that more attention has been drawn to the vulnerability of democratic societies to fake news and the ethical challenges brought by the pandemic to people across the globe.

The main objective of this study is to examine the triangular phenomenon in this poem composed in 45 words of the same line on the basis of Anandavardhanako dhwani principle. Based on Eastern literary theory, the study is analyzed from the angle of semantics and satire. The seriousness of the utterances used in the poems and the composition of the sounds have been made the focal point of the study on the basis of idioms. The study examines the anomalies of the lower middle class of rural society dreaming of a better life in Kathmandu, eating hunder despite many struggles and returning home with broken goals based on the irony of sound beauty. It analyzes the word beauty and semantic basis. This article is based on a qualitative study method. This article, conducted using library reference materials, focuses on the identification of sound beauty in particular. Overall, this poem is found to have an aesthetic sense, a picture of a sense of anomaly, and an aesthetic sound embedded in the humility of the subaltern class.}

Achyranthes aspera L. (Amaranthaceae) has long been used as antimicrobial, larvicidal, antioxidant and antidiabetic activities. The phytochemical screening of the methanolic extract of leaves and stems of Achyranthes aspera displayed the presence of almost all important phytochemical parameters. In the quantitative analysis of the plant, total phenolic content of methanolic and ethyl acetate extract of Achyranthes aspera plant was observed to be 362.74 ± 10.13 mg/g and 293.96 ± 11.77 mg/g GAE respectively. Total flavonoid in the methanolic and ethyl acetate extract of Achyranthes aspera was found to have 96.33 ± 7.67 mg/gm and 60.29 ± 5.98 mg/g QE. The methanolic extract of the plant extract of Achyranthes aspera exhibited high antioxidant activity among the plant extract (IC50 61.396 μg/ml). LC50 value of methanolic and ethyl acetate extract of the plant was identified to be 56.23 and 1158.77 μg/ml towards brine shrimp larvae respectively. The methanolic extract of Achyranthes aspera only active for Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis.

Marriage is an institution of the society which leads to the establishment of family. The Rana-Tharus have their own pattern, culture, rituals, norms, and values regarding marriage. The main aim of the study was to analyse the changing patterns in the Rana-Tharu marriage system. The study employed the situational analysis design of the qualitative research. Semi-structured interview and observation were used as the tools for collecting the data. This study employed the situational analysis design of the qualitative research. For conducting this research, ten informants from Rana Tharu of Shukhalaphanta Municipality-11, Kalwapur villages, Kanchanpur were selected. Thematic analysis was used for the analysis of the data. From the analysed data, it was found that the cultures, rituals, norms that are practised in Rana-Tharu traditional marriage are changed in the present context of marriage. Only those rituals, norms are followed which reflect their cultural identity and some rituals are practised in modified forms. Some of the rituals which seem not so important and are highly costly and time consuming in present context have been abandoned.

Developing proofs is a very important task of undergraduate mathematics students. However, proving theorems in real analysis is a challenging task for many undergraduate students. In this context, this research was conducted to explore difficulties experienced by undergraduate students in proving theorems of real analysis. Narrative research design under the interpretive research paradigm was used for the study. Three students (higher achiever, average achiever, and below-average achiever) were selected purposively from the sixth semester of B.Ed. programme of the central campus of Far West University. Radical constructivism was selected as the theoretical basis of the study. Interview guideline was prepared as a research tool and interviews of participants were taken based on the guideline. For the analysis and interpretation, interview data were transcribed, coded and then themes were generated. Four themes were constructed that are inability to link statements logically, lack of skill of applying definitions/theorems, lack of skill of selecting an appropriate path of proving, and inability to grasp language/symbols and lengthy proof. The conclusion is that students can have the above types of difficulties in understanding/constructing proof of theorems but the type and extents of the difficulty experienced by learners depend upon the context and ability of learners. This study indicates that beliefs and practices guided by modernism is one of the reasons behind the difficulties in proof construction. The findings of this study would help teachers to select the appropriate pedagogical approach of teaching proofs and students to understand/construct proofs of Real Analysis.
