The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of criminalization in the use of animal testing in the production of cosmetics in Indonesia as well as the right formulation in the formation of policies on animal testing. The problem is why a criminalization policy is needed against producers who conduct animal testing as a product test in the cosmetics production process and how the formulation of criminalization arrangements against producers who conduct animal testing as a test of cosmetics products in the production process. To be able to answer the formulation of the problem, the research used is normative juridical research with a statutory approach and a comparative approach and conceptual approach. The results show that in conducting animal testing there is the concept of 3R (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement). The 3R concept is an ethic that can be used to realize an experiment by looking for possible alternatives. Because many cosmetic companies are competing in creating new innovations in order to meet the needs of consumers, so that not a few companies carry out the innovation process carried out by related parties in developing their products still often use animals for product trials, which in practice this reaps many cons both from an ethical and scientific perspective. For this reason, criminalization is needed with the existence of legal policies, especially criminal law policies with formulations that regulate starting from the procedure for conducting animal tasting, what animals can be used as animal tasting, and what the procedure is after conducting animal testing, and of course whether it is necessary to submit an application to the competent authority before conducting animal testing, finally that in a legislation also regulates how sanctions / penalties are given to everyone who deliberately violates these laws and regulations.

This research uses a normative juridical approach, namely by examining/analyzing secondary data in the form of legal materials, especially primary legal materials and secondary legal materials, by understanding law as a set of positive rules or norms in the legislative system that regulates human life. The results of the study that Justice Collaborator (JC) is an individual who is involved in a criminal act but not as the main perpetrator, and who is willing to cooperate with law enforcement to uncover larger and organized crimes. JCs have an important role in providing significant and reliable information to help law enforcement uncover major crimes. In Indonesia, JC status is regulated in various legal regulations agreed upon by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Attorney General's Office, Police, KPK, and LPSK. The protection of JCs is crucial, covering personal, family, and property security, as well as other rights such as a new identity and legal protection. Existing regulations allow JCs to be granted leniency or other benefits in recognition of their cooperation.

Local history is an original method to see how a community works because it shows how it has changed over time and how the people there have affected it. It shows how changes in society have affected the everyday lives of regular people and how they have dealt with them. Also, learning about local history helps us understand the tradition of the community by showing us where street names, sites, and buildings came from and what they mean. Local history study helps us understand how historical stories are made by looking at how environment, economy, society, and population change affect each other. It looks at smaller, more localized situations to ask bigger questions about how society has changed. Local history is the study of both people and places. It gives us a way to see how the small world of our town interacts with the big world of the rest of the world. Local history is like a miniature version of bigger historical patterns. It helps us connect big trends with specific stories about people's lives. This journey helps us understand that history is not just something we learn in school, but something that is all around us and a part of our communities. As people learn more about their community's past, they realize that they are creating its ongoing story and adding to its historical tapestry in their unique ways. Local histories are often based on oral customs and may not have the formal support of well-known historical events, but they are still useful for learning and getting information. By bringing up shared traditions and experiences, local history can help shape policy, encourage community growth, and help people get along by bringing them together. As a place to keep different traditions and stories alive, it helps us learn more about the past. Local scholars are very important to this project because they teach and lead in their communities. Their love of history makes people think more deeply about and appreciate the past, which helps people feel more connected to their community and roots. Local histories may use modern words and ways of telling stories, but they are still based on area traditions and customs, so they can be understood by people at different levels. In closing, learning about local history gives us a deeper understanding of how our towns are woven together and how the people who live there live their daily lives. The Pallalamma Temple of Vanapalli is a great example of how important it is to keep cultural and spiritual practices alive through local icons. The goal of this case study is to shed light on the temple's historical roots, how it has changed over time, and how it continues to be important to the people of Vanapalli. The purpose of this study is to learn more about the temple's traditions, holidays, and beliefs to better understand how it has changed local life and how it still has meaning in modern times.

The main objective of this research is to examine the ideal model of remission policy for corruption convicts in correctional institutions in terms of fulfilling the rights of inmates, in order to analyze the policy revision arrangements for reducing the sentences of corruption convicts in the statutory regulations and look for an ideal model that can be applied to optimize the implementation of granting remissions to prisoners involved in corruption cases in correctional institutions. This thesis research uses a juridical-normative method. The data collection process was carried out using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. In analyzing the data, researchers used qualitative analysis techniques with steps for data exposure and data reduction. This research's conclusions were drawn using varied extrapolation based on the reliability of the research findings. Meanwhile, data validity guarantee techniques are carried out using credibility, transferability and confirmability. The results of this research illustrate that the birth of Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections is a series of criminal law enforcement units, therefore its implementation cannot be separated from the development of general conceptions regarding punishment. Prisoners are not only objects, but also legal subjects who are no different from other humans, who at any time can make mistakes or mistakes that can be punished. Punishment is an effort to make prisoners aware of regretting their actions, and returning them to be good citizens, obeying the law, upholding moral, social and religious values, so as to achieve a safe, orderly and peaceful society.

The phenomenon of autocratic legalism has permeated democratic institutions in Indonesia. This is marked by the executive, legislative, and judicial power holders using the people's trust to achieve goals that contradict constitutionalism, acting covertly and hiding behind the law. The institutions weakened include the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Constitutional Court (MK), and the House of Representatives (DPR). This study aims to understand how the phenomenon of autocratic legalism occurs in these three institutions and what steps should be taken to prevent and address this phenomenon. The research method used is normative legal research. The results of this study indicate that autocratic legalism refers to the actions of individuals who use the law to legitimize their power. This is evident in several policies issued by the three institutions in Indonesia. This phenomenon of autocratic legalism can actually be resolved through institutional action and addressed with legal and ethical enforcement, and its prevention through improved oversight systems, recruitment, and legal education.

This study examines the impact of feeding programmes on indigenous households in Malaysia, focusing on nutritional, economic and educational outcomes. Historically dependent on traditional agriculture and gathering, indigenous people in Malaysia face significant socio-economic challenges exacerbated by modernisation and urbanisation. School and community feeding programmes have been implemented by the government in partnership with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) with the aim of addressing these challenges by improving access to nutritious food. This study assessed the effectiveness of these programmes through a narrative review and quantitative analysis of survey data from 96 Orang Asli. The results showed significant improvements in health and nutritional status In addition economic benefits were noted, with the feeding programmes reducing household food expenditures and indirectly increasing work efficiency and economic stability. However, the impact on emotional and mental health, while positive, was less pronounced and requires further investigation. This study highlights the importance of continued support and strengthening of the feeding programme and suggests integrated policy measures for the socio-economic development of the Orang Asli community.

The objective of this study is to assess the correlation of information technology integration on the learning engagement of grade school pupils in selected elementary schools in Binangonan, Rizal. In an era where technological advancements are rapidly transforming educational landscapes, this study investigates how effectively integrating information technology (IT) into teaching practices impacts various dimensions of pupil engagement, including emotional, cognitive, motivational, behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and social-behavioral engagement. The research sample consists of 655 pupils, highlighting a slight predominance of females over males and revealing significant socioeconomic diversity among the respondents. The study employs a comprehensive approach, evaluating teachers' proficiency in multiple domains of IT integration—Technological Knowledge, Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, Technological Content Knowledge, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge, and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. Findings indicate a consistently high level of IT integration across these domains, with slight variances based on factors such as sex, family income, and access to technology at home. Emotional and cognitive engagement among pupils are particularly influenced by these variables, while overall engagement levels remain robust across different demographics. The study also reveals significant positive correlations between teachers' IT integration and pupils' engagement across all dimensions, underscoring the critical role of proficient IT use in enhancing educational outcomes. Based on these insights, the study proposes an Enhanced Training Plan aimed at addressing the digital divide, empowering teachers through continuous professional development, fostering high levels of pupil engagement, and promoting collaborative and supportive classroom environments. This plan includes targeted activities, regular monitoring, and evaluation to ensure its effectiveness and adaptability to evolving educational needs. The findings highlight the necessity for ongoing support and professional development for teachers to maximize the benefits of IT integration, ultimately contributing to a more dynamic and inclusive educational experience for all pupils.
