Off-grid telemetry system for hydrate inhibition on gas wells 气井水合物抑制离网遥测系统

Field installed systems work remotely from the supervisory station. These systems work autonomously, but usually it is necessary to inform the supervisory station about their working conditions. Furthermore, the term off-grid refers to being unconnected to the electrical grid. It is essential to keep the energy balance in positive. A prototype system has been developed to prevent formation of hydrate plugs on gas wells in Hungary. The article describes the telemetry system and includes some programming technics and practices.

Application of the particle filters for identification of the non-Gaussian systems 粒子滤波在非高斯系统辨识中的应用

This paper focuses on application of a particle filter for online identification of non-Gaussian systems. Firstly, the Bayesian inference was described and then the particle filter was defined. The particle filter numerically solves a problem of a recursive Bayesian state estimator. Secondly, the parameters of the linear system and two types of the non-Gaussian systems were estimated by application of particle filter. The first system was the classical linear system. The second system was the linear system with a noise which had a different probability distribution than the Gaussian distribution and the last system was the system with a nonlinearity. Thirdly, the parameters of the non-Gaussian systems were estimated with the gradient based method Levenberg-Marquardt. Finally, the results from the particle filter were compared with the results from the gradient based method Levenberg-Marquardt.

Improved closed loop performance and control signal using evolutionary algorithms based PID controller 改进了闭环性能,并采用基于进化算法的PID控制器控制信号

Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controllers are the most widely used controllers in industry because of their simplicity and robustness. Different values of PID parameters make different step response, so an increasing amount of literature is devoted to proper tuning of PID controllers. The problem merits further investigation as traditional tuning methods make large control signal that can damage the system but evolutionary algorithms based tuning methods improve the control signal and closed loop performance. In this paper three tuning methods for PID controllers have been studied namely Ziegler and Nichols, which is traditional tuning method and evolutionary algorithms based tuning methods, that are, genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO). To examine the validity of PSO and GA tuning methods a comparative analysis of DC motor plant is studied. Simulation results reveal that evolutionary algorithms based tuning method have improved control signal amplitude and quality factors of the closed loop system such as rise time, integral absolute error (IAE) and maximum overshoot.

Frequency fitting algorithm of control signals based on Hermite curves 基于Hermite曲线的控制信号频率拟合算法

The paper presents the process and methodology of nomination control signals based on the measurement signals. The process was made to allow for the determination of the replacement of the control signal in order to adjust its frequency to the frequency of operation of the control system. The purpose of the algorithm is to adjust the frequency of the measured signal to the frequency control circuit when the frequency of the signals from the measurements is too low. The algorithm is based on Hermite curves taking into account measurement signal and their first derivative. The paper also presents the verification of the algorithm. It has been tested to angular displacement measuring signals and their velocity in the human lower limb joints in the sagittal plane.

Decision support by dynamic simulation method 决策支持的动态仿真方法

The aim of this work is to examine suggestions for increase permeability of final turning workplace. This aim can be characterised in three followings phases. Initial phase is defining the characteristics of solved process. In second phase, simulation model of the present state and its modifications is built. In final phase simulation experiments are made and their results are compared with present state.

Network synchronization of periodic multiple source flows 周期性多源流网络同步

The article deals with the creation of a mathematical model of a real problem with four discreet flows. Transport processes are repeated at predetermined intervals and they must be time coordinated in three coordination places deployed in a triangular configuration. The main criterion is the amount of downtime of transported elements emerging in coordination places. The optimization task is solved by methods of mathematical programming. The presented paper contains a mathematical model of the task being solved. The proposed model is tested with real data. Computational experiments were conducted in the optimization software Xpress - IVE.

Advances in fractional calculus: Control and signal processing applications 分数阶微积分的进展:控制和信号处理的应用

Fractional calculus is more than a three hundred-year-old concept way back during the time of de l'Hospital and Leibniz focusing on derivative and integrals having non-integer orders. Almost four decades ago, engineers and scientists began to venture into the field of fractional calculus by unfolding its applications where fractional differential equation models are valid. It has been found that fractional calculus indeed is becoming ubiquitous, seeing applications in many fields of sciences and engineering, from fractional diffusion equations and various biomedical applications, to signal processing and control engineering applications. A conclusion was then later proposed that fractional calculus is actually a generalization of integer-order calculus, being so powerful, it could overcome the advantages of its integer-order counterparts. This paper offers a comprehensive discussion on the applications of fractional calculus in the design and implementation of fractional-order systems in the form of electronic circuits which could be used for signal processing and control engineering applications. The article starts with the introduction to fractional calculus including some history and mathematical definitions. The second part of the article focuses on fractional-order differential equations and systems. Example circuit designs and implementation are then discussed which includes an elaboration of some papers related to this area. The final part of the article presents possible research topics in this area.

Design and validation of a low resource-cost video data processing method for embedded implementation of optical flow extraction 嵌入式实现光流提取的低资源成本视频数据处理方法的设计与验证

The main goal of the proposed project is to build real-time hardware implementations of Optical Flow methods for tasks like egomotion estimation and/or obstacle avoidance. The current paper presents the theoretical foundations and the development and adaptation of appropriate algorithms needed for the motion detection task and the selection of the most suitable hardware/software design environments that aids the embedded implementation process. Using proper hardware/software co-design techniques, we present the development of a low-power, low resource-cost video data processing algorithm. The developed hardware efficient Optical flow extraction method is validated via software implementation and tested with standard video sequence inputs. We than present the architecture of the same method on an embedded, FPGA-based platform.

The paper presents a mathematical model, results of calculations and energetic characteristic of biomass fired recirculating flue gas fluidized bed boiler. Methodology of calculation and mass and energy balances were worked out according to standards PN-EN 12953 - 15 and DIN 1942. In order to develop mass and energy balances, compositions of flue gas were used. These equations create a non-linear set of equations which should be solved with the help of iterative procedure. Numerical calculations were performed using results of measurements of biomass fired fluidized bed boiler OFz-201. In next step, obtained results of thermal calculations were used to develop energetic characteristic which, take under consideration, the influence of operating conditions on energetic efficiency of boiler. Identification of model was carried out using regression methodology.

Behavior-based critical cyber asset identification in Process Control Systems under Cyber Attacks 网络攻击下过程控制系统中基于行为的关键网络资产识别

The accelerated advancement of Process Control Systems (PCS) transformed the traditional and completely isolated systems view into a networked inter-connected “system of systems” perspective, where off-the-shelf Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are deeply embedded into the heart of PCS. This has brought significant economical and operational benefits, but it also provided new opportunities for malicious actors targeting critical PCS. To address these challenges, in this work we employ our previously developed Cyber Attack Impact Assessment (CAIA) technique to provide a systematic mechanism to help PCS designers and industry operators to assess the impact severity of various cyber threats. Moreover, the question of why a device is more critical than others, and also the motivation of this work, are answered through extensive numerical results showing the significance of systems dynamics in the context of closed-loop PCS. The CAIA approach is validated against the simulated Tennessee Eastman chemical process, including 41 observed variables and 12 control variables, involved in cascade controller structures. The results show the application possibilities and effectiveness of CAIA for various attack scenarios.
