A design method of phase control system for SISO system using Hilbert transformer 采用希尔伯特变压器的SISO系统相位控制系统的设计方法

In several previous researches, it was discovered that instantaneous phase is one of the universal features of tasks, especially writing tasks. Therefore, this paper focuses on a force-amplitude/phase control of a 1 degree of freedom system. In this paper, the SISO system is extended into a MIMO system defined in a complex plane by using Hilbert transformation. The amplitude/phase controllers of a proposed system are designed in the complex plane, respectively. The proposed system is expected to control force amplitude and force phase of the system, independently. The performance of the proposed system was evaluated through several simulations.

Finite control set MPC of active current-source rectifier with full state space model 全状态空间有源电流源整流器的有限控制集MPC

Finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) is very effective and simple control approach which has been suitable for control of various types of power converters. It is a very flexible tool because it evaluates an arbitrary cost function which directly influences converter behavior according to particular demand. For an accurate numerical calculation of the cost function, discretization of state space model is the most accurate approach among the single step calculation methods. Common definition of the current-source rectifier state space model covers only the input ac part of the rectifier whereas the dc part is calculated separately by Euler method. In this paper, definition of full state space model enabling an accurate discretization of all converter variables at once will be introduced, described and compared with a common solution. A behavior of both models will be compared in terms of their performance, robustness and simplicity. Final results will be introduced by simulation study in MATLAB/Plecs.

Hybrid sensorless control for SPMSM With multiple saliencies 多凸点SPMSM混合无传感器控制

Surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous machine with concentrated windings (cwSPMSM) is widely adopted in many industry applications. However, strong multiple saliencies is a main drawback impeding applying sensorless control over this type of machine. This work proposes a hybrid sensorless control scheme which integrates a novel Secondary Saliency Tracking (SST) algorithm and an improved Active Flux Observer (AFO) for cwSPMSMs. The saliency signals of a typical cwPMSM under consideration are experimentally investigated. Instead of processing the primary saliency signal, secondary saliency signal which has a better signal to noise ratio and more precise resolution, is processed by a special designed band pass filter for speed and rotor position estimation reaching a very low speed range with full-load. An improved AFO method with robust structure but effective performance is adopted for higher speed range estimation. The transient phase (switching between the SST and AFO) performance is guaranteed by a smooth transition region design, reaching a Hybrid Sensorless Control with wide speed range. Finally the effectiveness and accuracy of the newly proposed Hybrid Sensorless Control method are both verified by experimental results.

Novel dead time controlled gate driver using the current sensor of SiC-MOSFET 采用SiC-MOSFET电流传感器的新型死区控制栅极驱动器

In comparison with Si-IGBT, Silicon Carbide (SiC)-MOSFET is expected to reduce switching loss and conduction loss of low-current region, as well as to remove external Free Wheeling Diode (FWD). However, because SiC-MOSFET bodydiode has high forward voltage, the diode conduction loss increases in the period of the dead time and, as a result, its loss reduction effect by using SiC-MOSFET decreases. This work proposes a novel dead time controlled gate driver using the current sense transistor integrated with SiC-MOSFET. Proposed gate driver has a high responsiveness and a high robustness against the switching noise, the dead time can be shortened within 0.1μs without external components. In addition, it can consist with both the dead time control and the detection short-circuit current, which is the radical function in one current sensor. In the experimental validation result of 10kW boost converter with SiC-MOSFET, the efficiency with the proposed gate driver was 1% higher than the efficiency without it.

Automatic generation of summarized driving video with music and captions 自动生成汇总驾驶视频与音乐和字幕

This paper provides a novel summarization method for driving data, including a driving video captured by car-mounted camera, vehicle behavior such as velocity, steering angle, and other information. While a large amount of the driving data have been gathered recently, looking back method, however, has not been well-considered. In this paper, we integrate various information from the driving data as a summarized video with a time stretched video based on the driving behavior, text annotations describing salient events and geo-location, and background music adapted with the driving behavior. This representation is generated automatically from driving data with symbolization process of driving behavior based on nonparametric Bayesian approach. Through subjective evaluations, we evaluated the efficiency of proposed method for understanding the driving data appropriately in short time.

This paper presents a new prototype of a single-stage ac-ac converter with Silicon-Carbide (SiC)-MOSFET / SiC-SBD integrated power module for induction heating (IH) applications. Switching and conduction power losses are effectively reduced by virtue of the 1.2kV-120 A All-SiC power module under the condition of zero voltage soft-switching (ZVS), as compared to the counterpart solution using a Si-IGBT / Si-PNDiode power module. The performances of the new prototype are evaluated by experiment, thereby demonstrating the advantageous properties such as high-efficiency and low switching noise due to the wide band-gap power module.

Current variation in a rotor bar during transients due to a hot spot 由于热点引起的瞬变过程中转子棒的电流变化

This paper presents an initial study to provide further insight on the conditions under which a natural bar breakage was reproduced experimentally. With this aim several magnitudes at a rotor bar's narrowing (hot spot) in an induction motor during heavy transients: long startup and plug stopping, are calculated in order to compare it with the experimental data, which suggested that the bar breakage process can be modelled by thermal fatigue. A combined analytical electrical and thermal procedure is used to obtain the current and temperature distribution in the cage based on values previously computed by 2D electromagnetic FEM, whilst the temperature, resistance and final stresses at the defect are calculated by Finite Element Analysis. The results show that the asymmetric heating alters the current distribution in the cage throughout the transients and that the interbar currents play a fundamental role in the evolution of the defect.

This paper presents an approach of DC level 1 charging of an electric vehicle (EV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) making use of standalone solar photovoltaic (PV) system. In this approach it is proposed to use the DC power generated by solar panels to directly charge EV traction battery pack using solar MPPT controller algorithm and CHAdeMO DC fast charging protocol. A supervisory control algorithm is developed to handle the standalone solar conditions. With the proposed solution, any EV users with CHAdeMO DC fast charging port can charge their vehicle. An example of commercially available EV `Nissan Leaf' is considered for explaining the solution with 1 kW solar PV system. An average daily commuter distance is considered along with the survey data of different demographic solar energy harvesting capability. A novel high voltage-boosting converter with active clamp 一种新型有源钳位高压升压变换器

In this study, a high voltage-boosting converter is presented, which combines a coupled inductor, a charge pump capacitor, and active clamp circuit, so as to boost up the output voltage as well as to make the main switch turned on with zero voltage switching. In this converter, the coupled inductor behaves as not only an inductor but also a transformer. And, the active clamp switch in the active clamp circuit is used to charge the charge pump capacitor as well as to give a path to the active clamp capacitor. By doing so, the energy stored in the leakage inductors can be recycled, and hence the voltages across the two switches have no voltage spikes.

Dual three-phase operation of single neutral symmetrical six-phase machine for improved performance 双三相运行单中性点对称六相机,提高性能

Among multiphase machines of different phase numbers, six-phase machine is one of the most popular and widely studied multiphase machine. By displacing the two three-phase windings with an angle of 30 degrees, 60 degrees or 0 degree, the machine can be configured as an asymmetrical six-phase, symmetrical six-phase or dual three-phase machine respectively. At the same time, the stator windings can be configured with either two or single neutral point. Till date, most discussions on six-phase machines focus mainly on two neutrals configuration, due to the simpler control requirements and better dc-bus utilization. Nevertheless, single neutral connection should be given due attention, considering the fact that this structure offers better fault tolerance. In this paper, the performance of symmetrical six-phase with single neutral point is investigated. It is shown that by altering the winding terminals' connections, a symmetrical six-phase machine can operate as a dual three-phase machine. By doing so, zero-sequence voltage injection becomes possible, hence giving improved performance.
