Condition evaluation of power transformers using dissolved gas analysis and dielectric breakdown voltage test 用溶解气体分析和介质击穿电压试验评价电力变压器状态

This paper proposes the techniques for evaluating power transformer condition based on frequently updated test results. According to planned maintenance, insulation oil is regularly sampled and analyzed in laboratory to determine problems inside main tank by dissolved gas analysis as well as dielectric breakdown voltage test to determine dielectric property of the oil. The dissolved gas analysis is firstly compared with limit values of gases in IEC standard. If values of gases exceed normal condition, the dissolved gases are analyzed by using Duval triangle while dielectric breakdown voltage criterion is reference with the IEC standard. These two methods are subsequently implemented in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Application to evaluate the condition of power transformer and dielectric strength of insulating oil.

SRF and real power theory based control of a nine switch converter based UPQC 基于SRF和实功率理论的九开关变换器UPQC控制

A conventional Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is a back-to-back shunt and series converters with a dc-link capacitor, requires 12 switches to resolve voltage and current related power quality issues. Recently a nine-switch UPQC (NS-UPQC) is proposed, but suffers with certain limitations like limited reference amplitude and phase shift, twice the rated dc-link voltage and increased stress on the semiconductor devices. To overcome these issues, in this paper nine-switch UPQC (NS-UPQC) is investigated using Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) and Real Power Theory (P-Theory) with harmonic extraction based control schemes. The nine-switch UPQC (NS-UPQC) model with the proposed control schemes are developed in Matlab/Simulink software and its performance is examined under various conditions like load voltage and supply current harmonics, supply unbalanced currents, voltage sag/swell. %THDs of voltage and current are also analyzed in this work.

Proportional plus resonant control for active power filter in unbalanced system 不平衡系统有源电力滤波器的比例加谐振控制

This paper presents the design approach of the proportional plus resonant control for active power filter in three-phase four-wire system. The hardware implementation is used to test the harmonic elimination using an active power filter. The experimental results confirm that the proportional plus resonant controller can provide good performance in dynamic load condition.

A comparative study of relational database and key-value database for big data applications 面向大数据应用的关系数据库与键值数据库的比较研究

Nowadays, Demands of web scale are in increasing and growing rapidly. Mobile applications, web technologies, social media always generates unstructured data that had lead to the advent of various NoSQL databases. Therefore, Big data applications are necessary to have an efficient technology to collect these data. However, a relational database is the traditional database that always uses in many applications and still has more valuable to play a significant role in the current information system. The main characteristics of NoSQL databases are schema-free, no relationship, no need to join as a relational database. The business organization expects that NoSQL database has better performance than a relational database. In This paper, we aim to compare the performance of Redis, which is a key-value database, one kind of NoSQL database, and MariaDB, which is a popular relational database. We designed a set of experiments with a large amount of data and compared the efficiency of the insert, update, delete and select transactions from various aspects on the same dataset. We measure the processing time of each transaction to evaluate the comparison. The results have shown that Redis has better runtime performance for insert, delete, update transaction under a specific condition or complex queries. MariaDB still is good for some conditions especially when we have a small data. Our study can help to choose a database that will be suitable for the real world applications because relational databases and NoSQL databases have different strengths and weakness.

Toward quantum state manipulation in twin InSb/GaAs quantum dots InSb/GaAs双量子点的量子态操纵研究

This paper describes a route toward quantum state manipulation by using twin InSb/GaAs quantum dots (QDs) as building blocks. The discussion on the advantage of staggered (type-II) band alignment in InSb/GaAs heterojunction is given first. For the generation of coupled/entangled electronic state, symmetric twin is desired. However, asymmetric twin is typically expected from the fabrication point of view. The localized hole states might be tuned to delocalized ones by external electric and/or magnetic fields. In addition, control and read-out of the stored information in the state can be done via optical probe with laser spectroscopy. We present here an experimental realization of twin InSb/GaAs QDs by solid source molecular beam epitaxy. The InSb QDs are formed into both single and twin rectangular-based configurations.

Large-signal model of DC micro-grid systems feeding a constant power load 恒定负荷直流微电网系统大信号模型

Generally, the mathematical model of DC micro-grids (DCMGs) with bi-directional voltage source converter (VSC) is time-varying due to the switching action. The time-varying model is very complicated for controller design or stability analysis. As a result, this article presents how to derive the mathematical model using a combination between DQ method and the generalized state-space averaging method (GSSA) to achieve the time-invariant model. The time-invariant model is suitable for controller design or stability analysis via the basic control theory. The computer simulations with the SimPowerSystem™ on MATLAB program have been used for the model validation. The results show that the good accuracy of mathematical model in transient and steady-state responses can be obtained. Then, the resulting mathematical model can be used to design the controller or analyze the unstable point of the system in the future work.

Detection mechanical fault of induction motor using harmonic current and sound acoustic 利用谐波电流和声波检测感应电机机械故障

The maintenance and condition monitoring of induction machine are very important factors in saving cost and energy conservation in industries. This paper studied on a mechanical fault system using simulation and experimental detection of the eccentric fault in different levels of an induction motor. Analysis current signal and sound acoustic time-frequency domain with Fast Fourier applied to estimate fault harmonic signal, noise, caused by eccentricity. The comparison between the simulation and experimental base on criterion standard. The result shows that the faults increased proportionally in the eccentricity. To sum up, while the increase of harmonic current distortion in order 3rd, 5th, 7th and acoustic noise, also in analyzed fault, harmonic and acoustic noise is the relationship, an effect to a high-temperature efficiency of the induction motor will high-temperature efficiency of the induction motor will decreasing and energy consumption.

Weighted least square based frequency estimation algorithm 基于加权最小二乘的频率估计算法

The LMS-based indirect frequency estimation algorithm (IFE) is reformulated using weighted least-square error criterion. Theoretical analyses for steady state bias and mean square error (MSE) are addressed. It has been shown that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional LMS-based algorithms in terms of convergence speed at the same value of MSE.

Fuzzy based random pulse width modulation technique for performance improvement of induction motor 基于模糊的随机脉宽调制技术改善感应电机的性能

This paper proposes fuzzy based Random Pulse Width Modulation (RPWM) technique to trim down the overriding harmonic clusters in the output current's spectrum. Asynchronous Motor is fed by PWM inverter and current is controlled by Field Oriented Control (FOC) algorithm. When an inverter with constant switching frequency is used, it would result in narrow-band harmonics. These harmonic clusters can make acoustic noises and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). In order to diminish the noises and EMI consequence of these harmonic clusters, adaptive fuzzy controller based random-switching PWM strategies have been introduced. The concept of RPWM technique is to spread the original narrow-band harmonic throughout a wide range of frequencies. Acoustic noises and EMI are reduced uniformly in output current's spectrum. Proposed switching pattern is compared with conventional switching pattern that is proposed earlier. Simulation results of conventional and proposed method are obtained by using MATLAB/Simulink Software.

PFC based SEPIC converter fed BLDC motor with torque ripple minimization approach 基于PFC的SEPIC变换器无刷直流电机转矩脉动最小化方法

In this paper, a Single Ended Primary Inductor Converter (SEPIC) fed brushless dc motor (BLDCM) incorporated with a torque ripple minimization scheme is developed for enhancing the power factor at supply mains and reducing the torque ripples. By varying dc link voltage, speed of BLDCM is regulated. Generally, current ripple is responsible for the presence of ripple in commutation torque. By inserting an additional voltage source in non-commutating phase, ripple in current as well as ripple in commutation torque can also be eliminated. The proposed BLDCM drive can be designed to work with an extensive speed range management with an enhanced power quality at AC mains along with minimal torque ripples. In Matlab/Simulink environment, proposed SEPIC with torque ripple minimization method for BLDCM is developed and simulated. Finally, the effectiveness of proposed BLDCM drive is validated.
