Objectives: to map, in the scientific literature, instruments used to assess anxiety and stress among expectant parents during pregnancy.
Methods: we conducted a scoping review guided by the JBI and PRISMA-ScR guidelines, searching the databases CINAHL, MEDLINE, Cochrane, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, and the Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal. Quantitative studies were included with no restrictions on time or language.
Results: we identified 16 instruments (10 for anxiety and 6 for stress), predominantly applied to pregnant women in the third trimester.
Conclusions: studies involving expectant fathers are scarce. To better understand their feelings and needs, it is essential to apply instruments that assess anxiety and stress, thereby supporting anticipatory care. Developing and validating instruments with expectant parents (both men and women) across the trimesters of pregnancy will broaden professionals' and the public's knowledge on this issue.

Objectives: to describe and analyze the social relevance of Professor Taka Oguisso's investiture as the first member of the Brazilian Academy of Nursing History.
Methods: this is a qualitative, biographical, and historical study, using the interview method with the first academician. The material was analyzed from the perspective of content analysis, as outlined by Bardin, and the categories identified were discussed within the theoretical framework of philosopher Claude Dubar.
Results: three categories were identified, namely the social relevance of investiture as an academic member, the creation of a rite of investiture, and signs and symbols in the process of building a professional nursing identity.
Final considerations: the investiture rite and the symbols used contribute to the process of constructing the academic's professional identity, promoting recognition and belonging in the organization's social groups, as well as protecting its members from the risk of losing their identity.

Objectives: to analyze the contributions of an awareness-raising workshop to nursing professionals' knowledge about continuing health education.
Methods: strategic action research, developed with 25 nursing professionals from a private hospital, located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Data were collected between January and August 2024, using a questionnaire with open questions, before and after an awareness-raising workshop. A data discursive textual analysis was performed.
Results: the central category "Understanding about continuing health education" emerged, unitized in five categories of analysis that dealt with the (lack of) knowledge about continuing health education and the Continuing Health Education Center, a scenario that changed after awareness raising.
Conclusions: it was revealed that there was a lack of knowledge or superficiality about the topic before the awareness-raising sessions. Afterwards, it was possible to identify the expansion of knowledge, both in its conceptual and functional aspects. Awareness-raising workshops contribute to transformation of knowledge.

Objectives: to translate, cross-culturally adapt, and validate the Menstrual Practice Needs Scale for the Brazilian context.
Methods: a methodological study, following the stages: initial translation; synthesis; back-translation; synthesis; review by a committee of experts; pre-test; and submission and approval by the author. The committee was composed of 11 judges. Pre-test collection was carried out from July to October 2023 in a city in Mato Grosso do Sul, with 360 high school students. The analysis used the Content Validity Index and Cronbach's alpha.
Results: the committee achieved a Content Validity Index of 96.7%, but adjustments suggested by judges were incorporated without further analysis. The version was approved for pre-testing, presenting a Cronbach's alpha of 0.78, with no doubts or suggestions for modification.
Conclusions: the cross-cultural adaptation and validity of the scale for Brazilian Portuguese were considered adequate for application in the target population.
