The goals of the Center are to promote the library collection, to make ecological library accessible for the population, to build ecological information awareness, and to provide ecological education. Проведен анализ библиографической информации об экологических разработках в Донбассе за период 2000–2022 гг. Установлено, что по тематическим рубрикам библиографического указателя можно проследить тенденции в развитии экотехнологий, формировании научных интересов и внедряемых способах охраны и оптимизации среды промышленно развитого региона. Доказана значимость использования узкоспециализированных научных разработок как первичного ресурса в популяризации исследований, а также реализации общественного экологического мониторинга. Перечислены научно-технические и социально значимые мероприятия, при объединении которых достигается требуемый эффект посильной гармонизации сосуществования человека в природных трансформированных экосистемах.
