In the field of raw food and seafood transportation, the importance of real-time temperature control and monitoring cannot be overstated. The assurance of product safety throughout the transport will enhance the product’s trustworthiness which is one of the factors that customers consider while deciding whether to utilize the service. This paper presents the concept of the cold chain system using Internet of Things devices and blockchain technology. The device collects temperature and geolocation and sends it to Hyperledger Sawtooth, a key blockchain infrastructure that has been chosen. The idea behind the application is to allow consumers to track products through a supply chain and notify the driver when the container’s temperature is out of the range. In order to record the shipment log as a blockchain transaction, we connected the application, the devices, and the blockchain database together. This concept can guarantee the integrity, trust, and traceability of the data because no one has the authority to change, modify or delete any information.

The success of pre-trained language representation models such as BERT benefits from their “overparameterized” nature, resulting in training time consuming, high computational complexity and superior requirement of devices. Among the variety of model compression and acceleration techniques, Knowledge Distillation(KD) has attracted extensive attention for compressing pre-trained language models. However, the major two challenges for KD are: (i)Transfer more knowledge from the teacher model to student model without scarifying accuracy while accelerating. (ii)Higher training speed of the lightweight model is accompanied by the risk of overfitting due to the noise influence. To address these problems, we propose a novel model based on knowledge distillation, called Theseus-BERT Guided Distill CNN(TBG-disCNN). BERT-of-Theseus [1] is employed as the teacher model and CNN as the student model. Aiming at the inherent noise problem, we propose coordinated CNN-BiLSTM as a parameter-sharing layer for Multi-Task Learning (MTL), in order to capture both regional and long-term dependence information. Our approach has approximately good performance as BERT-base and teacher model with $12 times$ and $281 times$ speedup of inference and $19.58 times$ and $8.94 times$ fewer parameters usage, respectively.

Pandemic Covid-19 has had an impact not only on health aspects but also on the economy of Indonesia, both from demand and supply. Problems in Indonesia’s government, such as the lack of medical equipment and supporting facilities in handling Covid-19 pandemics, have triggered the need for a sudden (urgent/emergency). On the other hand, there are still many distributor companies that have no experience in handling emergencies. One of the impacts is the delivery of goods that are not on time /late. To solve the problem, this study aims to get a process business in a distributor company with more effective and efficient processes by involving intercompany to increase the timeliness of delivery to customers. We propose using BPR (Business Process Reengineering) and simulation to model and analyze the current process and redesign the repair process. The results were obtained, with the average procurement of goods decreased by 46%.

This research presents a novel insight on gait disorder detection using transfer learning algorithms on sensor-acquired data based on the implementation of popular Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models. The paper proposes the use of pressure sensors to extract heatmap images during gait, which are then trained and tested in various classification algorithms for gait abnormality diagnosis and detection. Gait is a biological and scientific study of body movement and locomotion that emphatically serves as a reliable parameter for inspecting the human body’s neuromuscular and skeletal systems. To build a convenient and precise classification system for possible application, synthetic data was generated in multiple preexisting CNN models, which were then evaluated using conventional performance metrics. The proposed notion yielded experimental findings that showed higher accuracies for all transfer learning schemes tested, with the Vgg16 model achieving a notable accuracy of 97.15%. As a result, the analysis demonstrated not only a significant performance in terms of accuracy, but also reduced complexity and computing time, making the approach efficient yet effective.

Mineral water company is a large Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry (FMCG), they massively produced mineral water day to day in order to fulfill consumer needs. Companies engaged in the bottled mineral water industry are companies that have a large demand continuously, but often face the problem of delays in the completion of products caused by waste on the production floor. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify waste that happens to companies using a lean manufacturing approach and use Waste Assessment Management (WAM) as a method to determine waste that occurs so that the company can properly determine the improvement steps. This paper conducted the result of the Identification that occurs in this company, resulted the biggest waste caused by transportation in 20% Transportation waste is the point at which an item that is intended to be utilized in assembling is moved or contacted superfluously. Moving costs cash, however can likewise bring about the expanded gamble of that item being harmed, lost or abused.

Literacy is something that we can consider as a contributor to nation-building. Improving the education system is the key to eradicating illiteracy in every nation. The education sectors are seeking ways to educate each citizen so that they will be able to work competitively and live a comfortable life without depending so much on government aid. However, no matter how the government work to educate the younger generations and the underprivileged adults in the society, there is always issues and challenges that the education sector is facing. This study focuses on developing a technology management framework that allows technology adoption for ALS delivery systems like the Philippines. The implementation of ALS in the Philippines is under the Department of Education (DepEd) administration. The feasibility of the proposed framework and how it can be managed and implemented, including its sustainability, was likewise considered. The framework includes strategies that are vital in the implementation of ALS. DepEd will serve as the primary implementor of the framework and technology adoption of the ALS programs.

in previous studies of LoRa UG2AG transmission, the impact of plant morphology on it has been less addressed. In this paper, experiments have been carried out with commercial LoRa modules to evaluate the LoRa UG2AG transmission in environments with different plant morphology. The experimental results show that dense follower plants can have an important impact on LoRa UG2AG transmission.
