This paper presents the development of a sweeperarm mechanism implemented on the line follower robot. The development is intended to improve the curvature-driven kinematic method currently use on a line follower robot by eliminating the fixed sensor array and replaced with a sweeper arm. The sweeper arm mechanism enables the robot to move freely while following the path without interfering with the robot’s movement. The potentiometer inside the sweeper arm enables the robot to read the path more accurately with higher resolution than a conventional fixed IR sensor array. The path sensing algorithm allows the robot to track various path characteristics. The curvature-driven kinematic lets the robot optimize speed based on curve radius. To measure the result, the test track and test bench were created. The test bench was used to test the functionality of the sweeper arm. The test track ensures that everything on the robot can work together in a realworld track. The results show that the robot can follow the curve smoothly and is reliable, demonstrating that the approach is more practical for high-speed applications. Although the prototype did not test at full speed due to physical limitations, it proves to be functional as intended.

People are accustomed to shopping for items they require online these days. A person can connect their devices to the Internet, go to the store’s website, and select the product they desire. This is where content marketing comes in. It’s the process of attracting, engaging, and delighting your target markets. Kansei engineering is a consumer-oriented methodology for product development. It was defined as “the translating technology of a consumer’s feeling (Kansei) and image for a product into the physical design elements There are currently studies being conducted to evaluate Kansei’s word to build a new product. The heart rate, on the other hand, has yet to be thoroughly investigated. Therefore, we applied Kansei Engineering concepts to experiment on Kansei word preferences to build content that focuses on attention and heart rate until a final decision is reached, as well as content marketing that meets the needs of the target consumers. We can estimate the relationship between people’s feelings and their heart rate while seeing the content based on the results.

The research work focused on validation of the climatic conditions for the new-design testing room for the freezer that comply with the testing standard. The testing room using reasonable investment cost could function well. The developed system cost about 45% of the standardized system. It was applicable for the medium size freezer manufacturers. The system was designed, fabricated, assembled, successfully installed and tested by the freezer manufacturer. The system test was conducted under design conditions satisfying the end-user requirements. The test results fulfilled the desired research objectives, maintaining climatic conditions, with suitable performance to obtain the test results required by the proposal for approval certification of the standard room. However, the system was unable to maintain long-term stable operation beyond 5 consecutive days. Inside the testing room, wide-range fluctuated temperature and relative humidity has shown, and requiring air-conditioning system restart. The system could be further improved by upgrading control strategy of the fix-speed compressor and changing the front door rubber seal for cooled air leakage prevention.

Cactus is one of the important cash crops of Thailand. Due to relatively easy to maintain, it has widely gained a lot of popularity in the field of ornamental plants. Cactus plants with soft rot is the crucial disease, since it does not indicate or effect to the appearance of the plant. This paper presents an application to analyze the cactus disease using infrared wavelength image processing. Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and OpenCV algorithm are utilized to determine the health of cactus plant. The overall application is operated on a Raspberry Pi with No InfraRed (NoIR) camera. The results show a capability of soft-rot detection in a group of cacti with a single image. This application offers a cost-effective plant health monitoring system for better production.

Assessment of human movement is necessary for physical therapy management. This article presents a development of motion tracking system for human Upper Extremity (UE) function analysis. We proposed the optical motion capture system made by a single smart phone camera. It was used to capture the Reach-to-Grasp (RTG) movement of participants in sitting position. Image processing were used to detect color markers placed on chosen hand anatomical landmarks. With our simple camera calibration technique, the 3D coordinates of hand movement were obtained. Two clinical parameters, grasp aperture and hand transport velocity were computed. These results were compared with the outputs, collected at the same time, from the higher accuracy Electromagnetic Motion (EM) tracking system. Qualitatively, the result patterns from two systems were parallel to each other. Our ongoing work is to improve the algorithms according to the feedback from clinicians. This system may provide implication for physical therapist to assess the clients’ movement in the clinical setting.

The research is to study the possibility of the implementation of robotic process automation (RPA) to decrease the processing time in the pre-custom’ s documentation process in export-import companies; a case study of ABC Co., Ltd. Currently, there are a number of delays and high human errors in the document validation process, especially transferring information from mater bill of lading (B/L) to any relevant documents for completing the customs process. Moreover, the aforementioned steps include a variety of information, documents, and many items that must be recorded and validated daily. Moreover, such procedures have still been processed by validators, causing a remarkable proportion of human errors and time-consuming. Therefore, this research aims to study the guidelines on the features and capabilities of RPA to decrease the documentation time and human errors, leading to noticeable improvements in working methods in new ways. The results showed that spending time in invoices recording to the central system at destination customs significantly decreased from 61.21 minutes to 8.26 minutes. Validation processing time considerably inclined from 80.34 minutes to 6.45 minutes, providing the total process time substantially decreased from 252.63 minutes to 121.73 minutes.

The study’s main objectives are to evaluate the necessity of internal control processes and assess the tools and methods used in internal control processes. We used the practitioners polices, procedures, tools and techniques to have better internal control. The size of the business also plays a significant role in the effectiveness of internal control techniques. The cost should be less than the benefits (efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction) for the organization. Before implementing any techniques, any organization needs to conduct a self-induced investigation, testing, and preliminary experiments.

Social media is a platform that allows users to create content, and share ideas, and information in an internet based form of communication. Social media is gaining attention to support small and medium enterprises in conducting business. However, studies on social media use and its impact on organizational performance and sustainability remain underexplored in the Philippines. This study explores the use of social media and its impact on organizational performance and sustainability. This study applies a qualitative study through interviews with SMEs in the Philippines, a developing country perspective. Results show collaboration, information sharing, customer relations and service, and competitors’ accessibility. While social media impact includes brand visibility, productivity, revenue generation, and sustainability. Furthermore, SMEs identified conversation, sharing, presence, and reputation are key features that contribute to SMEs (productivity, brand visibility, and revenue generation) performance. On the other hand, SMEs identified social media with the provision to enhance brand awareness, identity, interactions, lead generation, conversion, customer service, and insights reporting are found highly important criteria in the selection of social media for business. Hence, this study confirms the positive role and impacts of social media on SMEs’ business activities and sustainability. This work suggests some practical and theoretical implications.

The aim of this study is developing an effective web application for training the academic ability of high school education using e-learning. E-learning has some features, e.g., the service with e-learning can be used anytime and anywhere, learning data can be recorded and analyzed easily. By adopting these advantages, a web application for practicing high school math was developed in this study. The application’s main functions are generating math problems dynamically and providing thousands types of problems for users practicing. These functions enable users to train their math ability effectively. Besides, user-friendly user interface (UI) was designed for the usage of various types of digital devices. Besides, a survey on trial of this application was conducted. A lot of suggestions and comments especially for the UI design from the participants in this survey were obtained.
