Previous research has found that women with infertility feel sad, anxious, and stressed when undergoing medical interventions to have children. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of mindfulness based stress reduction(MBSR) in reducing infertility stress. This research was conducted with an experimental method. This study consisted of five (5) participants as the experiment group and five (5) participants as the control group, which were selected by purposive sampling technique. The characteristics of the research partcipants were married women for at least one (1) year and experienced infertility. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the posttest scores and the pretest scores in the experimental group. The results also showed that there was no significant difference between the posttest infertility stress scores of the experimental group and the control group posttest scores.

This research aims to examine the impact of “Goting” training in increasing the learning independence of junior high school students. A total number of 14 students who had a medium score of learning independence participated in this study. They have assigned into two groups, with seven students as the experimental group and seven students as the control group. The experimental group has given “Goting” training while the control group was a waiting list group. This study uses a learning independence scale (52 items) which refers to Song & Hill (2007) aspects, namely Personal Attributes, Processes, and Learning Context. The result of this study showed that there is a significant effect between the experimental group and the control group.

This research aims to observe the effectiveness of the devout prayer training to improve the happiness of the family caregiver of the patients with stroke. Eight caregivers of patients with stroke were involved in this research. The subject was divided into two groups: experimental group (n= 4) and control group (n = 4). The research design used was pretest-post test control group design measured by three times (pretest, post test, and follow-up within two weeks). The measurement tools used in this research was the scale of happiness by Seligman. The result of the research showed a significant improvement in the happiness score in the family caregiver of the patients with stroke after given the treatment in the form of the devout prayer training.

Any changes in the system of an organization could be stressful. Having hardiness would be important to deal with a problem. This study aims to seek out the effectiveness of hardiness training in improving problemsolving. A quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-post test design was applied. There were sixteen employees of various organizational divisions enrolled in this study. Data were collected before and after the six-session of hardiness training using the Brief COPE scale and the Dispositional Resilience Scale (DRS-15) developed by Bertone. Results from the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed that there was no significant difference in the attitude of the effectiveness of problem-solving among employees before and after training (p>0,05). However, there were differences in knowledge of understanding hardiness before and after training. (p=.002, p>0,05). It can be concluded that hardiness training could increase the knowledge about hardiness; but not the attitude toward problem-solving.

This study aims to determine the effect of the Empathic Caring Consultation (ECC) program on Professional Quality of Life (ProQOL) in psychologists. This study involved seven psychologists. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling method. The research method used was one group pretest-post test design. ProQOL is measured using the Professional Quality of Life Version V scale, while the implementation of ECC training refers to the concept of Prawitasari. Analysis using Wilcoxon signed-rank test with a significant value (p) = 0.340 (BO); 0.932 (STS); 0.496 (CS) (p> 0.05). The results of the study showed that there was no effect of the ECC program on ProQOL on psychologists. This is because there are several variations of the three ProQOL components before and after treatment.
本研究旨在探讨共情关怀谘询(ECC)对心理学家职业生活品质(ProQOL)的影响。这项研究涉及7位心理学家。研究样本采用目的抽样法。研究方法采用一组前测后测设计。ProQOL采用Professional Quality of Life Version scale进行测量,而ECC培训的实施则参照Prawitasari的概念。

Post-treatment for cancer patients have an impact on psychological discomfort, changes in lifestyle, fear and anxiety. One effect that often arises in breast cancer patients is a negative assessment of post-masectomy appearance such as breast removal. Development of body image problems related to low self acceptance in cancer patients. Interventions used to build a positive body image through acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in breast cancer patients. The design of study used a pretest-post-test control group design and the subjects involved in this study were breast cancer patients who were undergoing treatment at the age range of 30-50 years and had low score on body image scale. The data analysis method uses non-parametric analysis (Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test) with SPSS. The results showed that ACT had an influence on body image in breast cancer patients. That is, ACT is able to build a positive body image in breast cancer patients

This study aimed to determine the role of social skill training in improving social skills. Data collection methods used in this study are interviews, WAIS testing, projective test, and SSCT. The subject of the study was an 18 years old male who had a catatonic schizophrenic disorder who did not want to interact socially before entering Menur Psychiatric Hospital. The intervention given was Social Skill Training to improve social skills in 7 sessions. Through Social Skill Training, subjects are trained in various social skills, such as greeting, introducing themselves, communicating lightly and to make friends so that the subject is no longer to be silent and sculpting in the room and make the subject be able to go to school again. The results showed a number of changes, such as subjects who were able to greet, introduce themselves first, even able to have small conversations with people around the subject.

Participans of this study were 30 participants, there are 15 participants in each group. The data were analyzed using mixed design anova . The result showed a very significant difference in quality of life’s score at pretest, posttest, and follow up between the experimental and controlled group (F=56,586, p=0,000 (p<0,05)).In addition, there was significant changes in quality of life’s score at experimental group (MD=-15,467 and p=0,000 . Those findings indicate that there was increase in the level quality of life in the experimental group.Furthermore, gratitude training contributed 84,3% to the increase quality of life.of women with physical disabilities .

Breathing relaxation with zikir is one way to give physical and psychological calm to humans. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of breathing relaxation with zikir on decreasing student anxiety. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a significant decrease in anxiety before and after intervention. This research is an experimental study with one group pretest posttest design. Data collection uses the Anxiety Scale. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon technique with the help of the SPSS 15.0 statistical program. The results of the study show that the value of Z count = -2,345 with p = 0,019 (p<0,05). So it can be concluded that there is a significant decrease in anxiety before and after intervention. Based on these results, then breathing relaxation with zikir is able to be one of the solutions to reduce student anxiety.
