This study aims to examine the effectiveness of “Functional Marketing: Marketing Social Skills 101” training in increasing marketing communication skills in General Insurance Company PT X. Research respondents were selected through purposive sampling technique aimed at 15 employees of the Marketing Department and the HR-Continuous Improvement Department of PT X. The quasi experimental used was the one-group pretest and posttest design. Analysis of the results used a non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test with a significance value of .046 (p < 0.05). The result showed that there was a significant effect on increasing participants' understanding of marketing communication skills which included aspects of communication, active listening, and negotiation skills. In addition, participants also gave a positive evaluation about the entire implementation of the training program which includes aspects of training materials, training facilities, and training facilitators.

People with diabetes require complex and demanding daily medication adherence. If self-efficacy in dealing with diabetes is low, it might worsen the physical and psychological condition of people with diabetes. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive-behavioral stress management in improving diabetes management self-efficacy. The participants of this study was middle-aged women with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study employed mixed-method by combining the quantitative research method in the form of a single-case experiment and qualitative research method in the form of a case study. The study was conducted on the two participants who had low self-efficacy in carrying out care as diabetics. Cognitive-behavioral stress management interventions given to participants showed that participants experienced an increase in diabetes management self-efficacy.

Work motivation that becomes a drive for someone in completing their work is important to be maintained and improved. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of goal setting training to improve work motivation for employees. This study uses a pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects of this research were 24 employees of PT X Sragen, which is divided into experimental and control groups. Measurement of work motivation was using The Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale. The data results were analyzed by ANOVA mixed design analysis. The results of the interaction test work motivation scores between the experimental and control groups crossed with the score measurement time (pretest-posttest-follow up) showed an F-count value of 27,604 and a significance of 0,000 and partial eta squared 0,556 that means goal setting training is effective to increase work motivation on employees. Thus, employee can empower their clearer and more targeted goals to be more motivated at work..

Students who are writing a thesis often experience anxiety and need treatment so that their emotions are more stable and finally they can complete the thesis. This study aims to determine the effect of thought stopping. Thought Stopping was done by training the client to cut off disturbing thoughts by saying stop and change to positive thinking. The design used is a pre-test post-test control group design. The research instrument used an anxiety scale for thesis preparation. The results of the Mann Whitney U test in the post-test and follow-up of the experimental group and control group found each z-value of -2.619, p-value of 0.009 (p<0.05). The results showed that experimental group experienced a decrease in anxiety compared to the control group. The Wilcoxon Rank Test showed that there was a difference anxiety before and after thought stopping, with a z-value of -2.023, and a p-value of 0.043 (p<0.05).

The ability to count is one of the useful abilities for intellectual disability children in everyday life. Fun and easy numeracy skills methods can be a means to improve numeracy skills in intellectual disability children. The dakon game applied in this study can be a means to improve numeracy skills in intellectual disability children because in the dakon game, children are trained to count using kecik dakon seeds in solving arithmetic problems. This study aims to test the effectiveness of traditional dakon games to improve the numeracy skills of intellectual disability children. This research is an experimental study that uses a one group pretest-posttest design. In this study involved three students with intellectual disability children. The results of the analysis with the Shapiro Wilk statistical test showed that the traditional dakon game was effective to improve numeracy skills in intellectual disability children.

The industrial revolution 4.0 demands that human resources have quality in various aspects of life so that they can continue to compete in employment. Based on this, human resources must have work readiness in order to be able to face the changes that occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of personality development training as a step in increasing work readiness of students of SMK Negeri 5 Samarinda in facing the industrial revolution 4.0. This research uses one group pretest posttest design. The subjects involved in this study were 30 students of SMK Negeri 5 Samarinda. Data were collected using a work readiness scale. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The results show that personality development training is effective in increasing the level of work readiness of students of SMK Negeri 5 Samarinda

The research's objective is to identify the influence of re-education Psychotherapy on the anxiety level of preoperative sectio caesaria patients at central operating theater RSUD Kota Bandung. The pre experimental design with one group pre-test-post-test design. The population is preoperative sectio caesaria patients and a sample of 30 participants with purposive sampling. Used SAS/SRAS instrument to measure anxiety levels. The conclusion there was a significant influence of implementing re-education psychotherapy to preoperative sectio caesaria anxiety patient level. Based on the result of the study, re-education psychotherapy is needed in preoperative patients as a companion pharmacology.

Assistant lecturers have a duty as students as well as have additional responsibilities as a bridge between lecturers and students. These heavy duties and obligations carried by assistant lecturer impacted their psychological well being. This training carries emotional intelligence as a variable that can improve the psychological well being of assistant lecturers. This research will use one group pre-post test experimental design. 21 people participated on this training. The t-test results showed a significance of .169 (p > .05) which meant there was no significant difference in psychological well being level after training. Some factors that influence the unsuccessful emotional intelligence training in improving psychological well being are the use of trait emotional intelligence models, duration of the training, stress levels and education levels of training participants.

The less quality of mother-adolescent relationship is indicated by the unwillingness of adolescent to talk about their problem to mother and the emergent of mother-adolescent conflict. This research aim to prove the effectiveness of communication skills training to increase the quality of mother-adolescent relationship. This research tests the hypothesis that communication training can improve the quality of mother and teen relationship. The quality of mother-adolescent relationship was measured using the scale of mother-child relationship. The participants were 18 mothers with Senior High School of education and that have adolescent children. The experimental design used was a pre-test post-test control group design. The result shows that communication skills training can effectively increase the quality of mother-adolescent relationship. After a mother participates in training, teenagers feel comfortable telling their problems to mothers and feel understood.

Verbal abuse is a type of abuse done by parents without realizing the impact caused by the abuse. The people who live around Puskesmas D Surabaya didn’t show signs of awareness about the importance of preventing verbal abuse in children. Verbal abuse continues because parents don’t understand what verbal abuse is, its impact on child’s development, and what kind of parent-child interaction to develop to avoid verbal abuse. Psychoeducation to posyandu’s kader can be an alternative that can be done to provide education to all parents around Puskesmas D Surabaya about verbal abuse. This study aims to determine the difference in knowledge of posyandu’s kader after being given psychoeducation about verbal abuse, its effects, as well as parent-child interaction that must be developed to avoid verbal abuse in children. The research method used was an experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Research respondents were 40 posyandu’s kader. The instrument used was a questionnaire compiled by researcher based on the psychoeducation materials. The result showed a difference in the pretest and posttest score with a significance of 0.000 (<0.05) which means that there is an increase in kader’s knowledge after being given psychoeducation. The result is expected to be a recommendation for Puskesmas D Surabaya to implement the psychoeducation to reduce verbal abuse in children in their working area.
