Ultra wide band system based on cognitive radio 基于认知无线电的超宽带系统

The paper presents a simple cognitive UWB system model with queuing mechanism. In accordance with this model a good spectrum was obtained by tuning transmitter parameters adaptively. It can support dynamic avoidance of narrow-band interference. While implementing a true cognitive UWB radio is still quite challenging today because of the limitations of current digital processing technologies, intelligent spectrum-sensing capabilities and dynamic waveform generation algorithms. So our next-step work is to find better pulse design methods and algorithms for acquiring a perfect cognitive UWB system.

A new blind equalization algorithm based on convex combination 一种基于凸组合的盲均衡算法

The convex combination is a mathematic approach to keep the advantages of its component algorithms for better performance. In this paper, we employ convex combination in the blind equalization to achieve better blind equalization. By combining the blind constant modulus algorithm (CMA) and decision directed algorithm, the combinative blind equalization (CBE) algorithm can retain the advantages from both. Furthermore, the convergence speed of the CBE algorithm is faster than both of its component equalizers. Simulation results are also given to verify the proposed algorithm.

Efficient encoding of low-density parity-check codes in chinese digital terrestrial television broadcasting standard 中国数字地面电视广播标准中低密度奇偶校验码的高效编码

Since Quasi-Cyclic LDPC (QC-LDPC) codes have many advantages for fast encoding, they are adopted in channel coding of the Chinese Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting (DTTB) Standard. The construction of QC-LDPC codes in Chinese DTTB standard, which is based on the structure of RS codes with two information symbols, is described. Also, three fast encoding circuits are presented, which encode in serial, parallel and partial parallel, respectively. They have speeds and complexities that differ with each other. According to the requirements of the system, one of them can be chosen carefully.

Study and design of intelligent current-sharing controller in excitation power units 励磁机组智能共流控制器的研究与设计

Parallel power rectifier cabinets can increase the capacity of excitation system while may cause serious current unbalance problems among cabinets or thyristors. In this paper, the design of intelligent current-sharing controller (ICSC) based on infineon micro controller unit (MCU) XC164 and field programmable gate array (FPGA) is discussed in detail. The fuzzy self-adaptive PID control algorithm is adopted to slightly adjust the firing pulse for realizing current-sharing among parallel thyristors and thereby among parallel cabinets. The simulation results attest the validity of the design.

Aggregated self-similar wireless traffic properties analyses based on Sup-FRPP model 基于Sup-FRPP模型的聚合自相似无线业务特性分析

In this paper, superposition fractal renewal point process (Sup-FRPP) is applied to analyze the average arrival rate, Hurst parameter and the fractality start-time of the aggregated self-similar traffic. Simulation results demonstrate that the aggregated multiple self-similar traffic streams also exhibits self-similarity, which actually intensifies rather than diminishes burstiness of single self-similar traffic stream. The burstiness can have detrimental effects on the network performance. Thus these results are very useful for forecasting network traffic variation, optimizing bandwidth allocation and guaranteeing network quality of service (QoS).

An Effective Implementation of the Nonlinear Homotopy Method for MOS Transistor Circuits Based on SPICE3 基于SPICE3的MOS晶体管电路非线性同伦方法的有效实现

Homotopy methods are attractive for finding DC operating points of nonlinear circuits due to its global convergence in principle. In this paper, the homotopy method using a nonlinear auxiliary function is described and implemented for MOS transistor circuits. The implementation is based on the SPICE3 simulator and employs the initial solution and BDF (backward differentiation formula) solution curve-tracing algorithms. The simulation results demonstrate the efficiency, which are compared with the ATANSH-based homotopy method.

A gradual and optimistic fair exchange protocol 渐进、乐观的公平交易协议

For electronic items without generability or revocability, previous optimistic exchange protocols can't guarantee strong fairness. Gradual protocols assume equal computing power. And online-TTP (Third Trusted Party) protocols often suffer from communication bottle-neck. A gradual and optimistic fair exchange protocol is presented in this paper to solve the problem. Secrets are gradually exchanged with partially validation by recipients, while the probability of detecting cheats increases. Fairness doesn't depend on equal computational power assumption. TTP isn't involved unless dispute appears. The protocol provides stronger fairness than optimistic or gradual schemes.

Motive Parameters Estimation Using Narrow-band Passive Acoustical Measurements 基于窄带被动声学测量的动机参数估计

This paper develops a method for estimating the flying trajectory of a turboprop or rotary-wing aircraft based on narrow-band passive acoustical technique, which measures the instantaneous frequency of the acoustical signal emitted by the target and received by three stationary sensors placed on the ground. The received instantaneous frequency varies due to the acoustical Doppler effect. Under the condition that the target flies at a constant velocity and the trajectory is a straight line, a intuitional model to describe the trajectory is proposed, which completely specifies the flight path by seven parameters. The nonlinear least-square problem of estimating the parameters is simplified by decomposing it into four steps. Computer simulations are provided to show the performance of the proposed method compared with the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) in the presence of white Gaussian measurement noise.

In this paper, an analytical model for the surface electrical field distributions of double RESURF devices with Gaussian-doped P-top region is presented. Based on the 2-D Poisson's solution, the model gives the closed form solutions of the surface potential and electrical field distributions as a function of the structure parameters and drain bias; the dependence of breakdown voltage on drift region length and thickness is calculated. An effectual way to gain the optimum high-voltage devices is also proposed. All analytical results are well verified by simulation results obtained by MEDICI and previous experimental data, showing the validity of the model presented here.

Iris-based remote user authentication scheme using smart cards 基于虹膜的智能卡远程用户认证方案

A remote user authentication scheme based on the algorithm of Awasthi and Lai is proposed. The proposed scheme uses an iris-based biometric cryptographic technique to overcome the difficulty of managing security parameters in the Awasthi and Lai scheme. By combining remote user authentication and iris-based biometric cryptography, the proposed scheme achieves the security strength of the Awasthi and Lai scheme and at the same time addresses the issue of management of secret data of that scheme.
