Higher education institutions (HEIs), which are the major economic drivers in a nation, rely on their faculty for quality. The quality of faculty performance is assessed through performance appraisal methods. Performance appraisal methods help management assess the performance of employees and further the scope of improvement. Traditional methods of performance evaluation based on quantitative data involve more mathematical calculations than scientific approaches. The drawback of these methods is that they consider overall scores and not the individual factors of performance. This is exceptionally relevant when there are multiple disciplines in HEIs. In this study, the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) model using MACBETH is used to explore its usefulness in explicitly dealing with the trade-offs between performance measures, making the process of performance measurement and management more transparent and defendable. Faculty performance across different disciplines was considered in this study, and faculty performance was evaluated using the MACBETH score. The advantage of MACBETH is that weight can be assigned to specific criteria, and accordingly, analysis can be carried out. Based on which criteria are assigned the highest weight, that factor is considered for the final output. In this study, the results obtained showed significant differences in the performance rankings of the faculty members when compared to those of the traditional methods, suggesting that the FSTs are useful tools for performing performance appraisals.

The article examines theoretical approaches to the interpretation of certain concepts of the innovation economy in the context of modern transformations, as well as the effectiveness of financing creative innovations. The authors highlighted the problems of innovation transfer and intellectual property management. The paper analyzed the main innovation activity indicators in selected world countries for 2010-2022. It reveals the correlation between innovation financing and economic performance at the macro level. In addition, the authors summarized the essence of the "creative innovations" and "transfer of innovations" categories. They proposed criteria for assessing the effectiveness of innovation potential and defined their nature. The evaluation testing confirmed the possibility of using the proposed criteria. In particular, the key aspects of the formation of adequate financing of creative innovations include financial analysis of investments and risk assessment, marketing strategy and transfer of innovations, as well as monitoring and evaluation of the results of innovation implementation. The authors developed practical approaches to increase the effect of innovation implementation. These approaches allow economic systems to ensure a high level of transfer organization and implementation.

Cybersecurity in the face of information warfare and cyberattacks in the modern world is one of the most critical issues of our time. Driven by the rapid development of technologies and digital transformation, threats to information security are becoming even more severe. Nowadays, almost every aspect of our lives, from personal data to critical infrastructure systems, is affected by cyberattacks. Information warfare has become a complex struggle where digital battles are integral to modern conflict. Countries, corporations, and even criminals fight for control over data and influence over critical systems. All this creates a situation where a defense against cyber threats is a top priority. The article aims to provide a detailed analysis and understanding of cyber threats' dynamics in the context of information warfare. It also highlights effective strategies and measures to ensure cybersecurity in such a challenging environment. The research methodology is based on comparing and analyzing information on real cyberattacks, studying the vulnerabilities of information systems, and developing strategies and technologies to counter cyber threats. The study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods, including statistical analysis and case studies. The results of the study revealed the main features of information warfare and their impact on cybersecurity globally and within specific organizations and states. Conflicting parties can use digital means to attack opponents, destroy their critical infrastructure, obtain secret information, or disrupt their operations. Information operations may use phishing and social engineering tactics to access essential resources or information. The organizations and states that find themselves at the epicenter of information warfare must carefully ensure the cybersecurity of their information resources.

The article examines the impact of digital technologies on the national security. It becomes relevant in the current context of growing cyber threats and dependence on information systems. In the modern world, it is essential to study the impact of digital technologies on the protection of the state to understand such a great impact of cyber threats on national security. This study aims to determine the impact of digital technologies on national and state security globally and in Ukraine. Digital technologies and their application in the field of national security are the focus of the current study. Research methodology. The study is based on analyzing scientific literature and applying methods of analysis, comparison, and generalization of information. The results and their practical significance. The research indicates that the integration of digital technologies into security systems improves the efficiency of monitoring and responding to threats. In addition, the article highlights the importance of developing cyber defense and cooperation with other countries and international organizations in the field of digital technologies for national security. The research findings can be helpful in developing strategies for national security and protection against cyber threats. The research in the field of language history should be based on the latest achievements and developments in philology, history, anthropology, and pedagogy. The semantic evolution of a lexeme should be relevant for translators, artists, and literary critics. The study aims to establish the effectiveness of different approaches to defining the semantic evolution of a lexeme. Also, it seeks to determine the influence of changes in the meaning and usage of a lexeme on the analysis of changes in the meaning and use of a lexeme, taking into account the historical context. In addition, it is necessary to consider an assessment by students and teachers regarding the effectiveness of using knowledge of language history and the historical context of lexeme evolution within translation activities. The study employs a comprehensive approach to a methodology. The main methods used in the research are the descriptive method, as well as analysis and synthesis. They are used to present theoretical material. Furthermore, a comparative method was used to show the evolutionary processes of changes in the usage and meanings of lexemes. Separately, the author also employed survey and observation methods. The main hypothesis assumes that the practical application of innovative approaches and principles to the reconstruction of lexeme semantics evolution will demonstrate an increase in accuracy and clarity of translation, its interpretation, and revision. Therefore, it will facilitate and improve the quality of work with a text. The result of this study is a proof of the effectiveness of using different methods and approaches to establish the evolution of lexical semantics, as well as the specifics of meanings and usages, where knowledge of the historical context is essential. The collected data indicate the prospects for implementing projects in translation pedagogy, language history, and literature.

The study examines the concept of text multimodality, as well as its levels and key components. Particular attention was paid to the English-language novel to establish its iconic nature and specificity. As part of the research, the authors carried out a comprehensive analysis of the semantic features of the verbal and visual components of the text to reveal their influence on the reader's perception. Both linguistic and extra-linguistic means used to create multimodality in English-language novels were considered in detail. The authors also analyzed scientific approaches to understanding multimodal text and critically reviewed studies in the field of digital literature aimed at solving the mentioned issue. Based on the knowledge gained, it is possible to summarize and draw conclusions about the importance of multimodal means in contemporary literature and their impact on the readers. This paper has analyzed the following digital literary works: "Breathe: A Ghost Story" by Kate Pullinger, "C ya laterrrr" by Dan Hett, "Queers in Love at the End of the World" by Anna Anthropy, "My Body – A Wunderkammer" by Shelley Jackson, and "Inanimate Alice" by Kate Pullinger.

The current period of social evolution is commonly referred to as the information stage of society’s development or the digital age. The introduction of the most advanced tools significantly speeds up the process of obtaining, processing and analyzing data. Wide and prompt access to information resources increases the efficiency of their use, which becomes an integral part of managing all institutions and processes. Various forms of crime are emerging globally as science and information technology evolve. The emergence and development of cybercrime is taking place, in particular, due to the globalization of the information environment and the rapid development of computer systems around the world. Currently, information technologies accompany people in various spheres of their activities, and accordingly, their use in committing criminal offences is increasing. In connection with the abovementioned, the issues of legal support for information security occupy a specific place in the public relations spectrum. The topic of cybersecurity in the era of information technology is increasingly spreading in the world community nowadays. After all, because of technological development, the number of cybercrimes that disrupt the activities of states, their institutions and a large number of private companies is rapidly increasing, with institutions and organizations incurring significant costs and disrupting their normal operation. The purpose of the academic paper is to define the concept and to review the classifications of cybercrime, taking into account the features of its commission and counteraction to this type of abuse in the context of digital society.

The article critically examines the essence of Ukrainian culture and its representation, as well as the diversity portrayed in contemporary media. The impact of the war on the depiction of Ukrainian culture in the media is meticulously characterized. Thematic headings and peculiarities about the presentation of cultural information in the media are rigorously considered, along with the dominant categories of culture that are prevalent. The portrayal of Ukrainian cuisine and memes within the media space is thoroughly described. Furthermore, the article addresses problematic issues concerning the representation of Ukrainian culture in the media and proposes potential strategies to address these challenges. Lastly, the prospects for further development of the cultural aspect in the media are identified based on the insights garnered from the research conducted on the media platform "Culture-2025." The study aims to elucidate the fundamental nature of the representation and diversity of Ukrainian culture in contemporary media, with a focus on its impact, challenges, and prospects. The object of investigation is Ukrainian culture as it is portrayed in the informational context of the media space. The research employed various scientific methods, including description, analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization, and content analysis, to comprehensively explore the subject matter. The study aims to analyze the essence of Ukrainian culture and its portrayal in the media. It specifically focuses on the diversity, primary thematic headings, and prevalent categories that are disseminated within the media space. Moreover, the research addresses the impact of the war on the evolution of Ukrainian culture. Additionally, the work investigates the presentation of Ukrainian cuisine and memes as vehicles for conveying historical and cultural information, and as cultural trends that gained notable popularity in Ukraine's media space post-February 24, 2022.

The international standards of higher education establish a wide range of competencies for graduates from artistic pedagogical institutions. Art education, as defined in normative concepts, aims to cultivate in future teachers personal and value-based attitudes toward reality and art, fostering their abilities for self-fulfillment, spiritual self-improvement, and intercultural competence. Intercultural competence, described in contemporary scientific literature from various perspectives, is depicted as a dynamic and integrated quality within an individual. It encompasses a meaningful worldview, communication practices, and productive conduct within a multicultural society. The purpose of this academic paper is to identify the factors and characteristics involved in shaping the intercultural components of competence among future music teachers. Through the research findings, the most significant theoretical aspects concerning the development of intercultural competence among future art teachers have been delineated. The components of intercultural skills have been systematically organized, and trends in the advancement of these skills within the educational milieu have been outlined. Drawing upon an analysis of effective curriculum content, this academic paper outlines the key types of skills necessary for education seekers. These skills play a pivotal role in guiding educational activities within artistic pedagogical institutions, fostering intercultural competencies, and nurturing the socio-cultural competence of aspiring music teachers.
