As the use of robots in different fields has been increasing day by day in doing different types works. To make some complicated works easy in industrial areas, military purpose and in any places where human can’t go, the gesture controlled robot are used in which the motion of robot is dependent on the human hand. We are using the MPU6050 sensor which has 6-axis of motion tracking device in which accelerometer has 3-axis, gyroscope has the other 3-axis and it also has an additional feature like temperature sensor. Where the acceleration is a keyword of an Inertial Measurement Unit. Accelerometer meter is a device used to sense acceleration off gravity of directions like forward, backward, left and right. The movement of the robot has been controlled by the accelerometer. By which the information from RF Transmitter to the RF Receiver has been pass through wireless communication system. The other parts are control Arduino in which the code is dumped.

Adsorption is a key technology for heavy metals removal from industrial effluents. The use of adsorbent polymers is considered to be an attractive solution for wastewater treatment due to their high selectivity for certain heavy metals. Through the current study, an adsorptive polyacrylonitrile based hydrogel blend was used to examine heavy metals removal in simulated effluents incorporating chromium and nickel. Moreover, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) in conjunction to an Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDX) were used for characterization of the polymeric blend structure. Finally, for surface evaluation, the specific surface area and the pore size distribution Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis techniques were used together with electrical conductivity measurements. The obtained results from FTIR showed the appearance of the original bands of raw materials (polyacrylonitrile (PAN), polyvinyl alcohol and polyaniline (PAni) and the change of the peaks position confirmed the hydrolysis and combination of starting materials into the polymeric blend. Surface morphology studies showed that this gel has porous surface with an average pore size and surface area of 0.73 nm and 17.3 m2 /g, respectively. Moreover, Electrical conductivity measurements indicated the presence of PAni in the polymeric blend assisted in the increase in conductivity of PAN. Finally, the different parameters of the polymeric hydrogel blend were investigated through swelling water ratio (SWR) and conventional adsorption processes at different operating conditions such as; initial salt concentration, pH and contact time. The maximum chromium adsorption results were (12.44 mg/g for 10 mg/L initial salt concentration), (10.46 mg/g for 5.5 pH) and (4.91 mg/g for 1 hr. contact time). Whereas, the maximum nickel adsorption was (7.67 mg/g for 20 mg/L initial salt concentration), (7.57 mg/g for 7 pH) and (6 mg/g for 2 hrs. contact time).

Effective Waste management is the need of the hour in the world. Solid wastes generated by the industries becomes hazardous as days passes by, used tyres are one such waste material that can affect our environment and people. Rubber tyre wastes can be used as partial replacement for the aggregates. In this study, rubber tyre wastes were used as coarse aggregates. And those rubber aggregates are used as partial replacement of coarse aggregates in the cement concrete (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%). The specimens were subjected to different strength tests as per the standards. It is found that the strength of the concrete is greatly reduced as the percentage of replacement of rubber aggregates is increased. Due to their low strength this type concrete cannot be used for load bearing or structural members. However rubberized concrete can be used for non –structural elements and in future a study can be made whether rubber concrete can be used for pavement blocks.

Blood sugar in the body is called glucose and it is important that the amount of sugar in the blood is fairly maintained. The body has sugar and blood that is used to store energy in the body. Low or high blood sugar is dangerous to life if it is not treated. The fasting blood glucose level in the morning ranges between 70 mg/dL to 110 mg/dL, after the meal the blood glucose should be less than 140 mg/dL. This paper proposes a method that is best suited to detect blood glucose in the human body and avoid serious health issues by sending a message instantly to the respective number of the patient. Currently, in market Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) techniques are vigorous and painful as the blood sample is pricked from the finger that leads to the risk of infection, the strips that were being used were also costly. The solution to this problem statement is a design of non-invasive smart equipment for observing the blood glucose level. One non-invasive method is Red Laser (RL) BGM technique, that is very superior to the other invasive method and non-invasive techniques. Here the refractive index of the laser light is analyzed to determine the blood glucose level. Several tests and experimental results are generated to prove the proposed method is highly accurate.

One of the social responsibilities of emerging technologies is to help physically challenged people. One of them is to assist the blind people to walk alone. The main challenges confronting the visually disabled people while walking is that they are not conscious of the environment as they move in and out because they are not fully aware of their position and direction with regard to traffic and barriers in their path. Smart shoes provide the blind people with auditory assistance in coping with the difficulties they face in walking like regular human beings. The objective is likely to make a self direction framework which helps outwardly tested (or daze) individuals to walk autonomously. The idea is more about the smart shoes that warn visually disabled people in their ways to challenge which may allow them to move with less collision. The target is to tackle a reliable solution that involves a shoe interacts with users through vibrations and audio alert. Our key contribution is towards energy efficient self guidance system.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological issue that begins from early in childhood and proceeds all through such an individual's reality. It will influence that individual's conduct, speech with others, interference, and learning. Right now anyway, Autism Spectrum Disorder is to be distinguished in the beginning period, which is conceivable. Early acknowledgment of Autism Spectrum Disorder will improve the general psychological wellness of that particular youngster. The machine learning methodology is applied to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and in this work, we have used machine learning techniques and Optimization on an ASD dataset. We have employed XGBoost algorithms to the dataset considered, and as a result, efficient outputs are obtained. This will be incredible for the use of doctors to help them recognize Autism Spectrum Disorder at an early prior stage.

In this proposed work, Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) based control algorithm is used in Photovoltaic (PV) grid integration through Distribution Static Synchronous Compensator (DSTATCOM) with Battery Energy Storage (BES) system for simultaneous mitigation of power quality issues and for real power injection. In order to makeover the issues in the quality of power in the system by compensating neutral current, asymmetrical loads in the four wire three phase nonlinear and unbalanced load distribution system. The highest power of PV is tracked using Incremental Conductance (Inc) method and the voltage of DC bus is preserved by Bidirectional DC-DC Converter (BDDC). The proposed system works as PV-DSTATCOM mode which performs DSTATCOM operation by improving power quality with the capability of transferring the generated PV power to the consumers and Grid, and in BES-DSTATCOM mode it supplies power to the utility load. The proposed system is implemented and modeled for 11kV/440V utility system. The results have been obtained using sim power system tools in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.

Technology education would require high quality, effective laboratory instruction which involves manipulation of instructional apparatuses. Instructional apparatuses provide students to experience the real field of work. However, due to its inadequacy in the electrical technology laboratory, the instructors experienced difficulty of providing the skills to the students particularly on motor control which involves complex designing and installation that needs a skillful and technically-knowledgeable person. In the interest of alleviating this problem, the researchers design an instructional apparatus that address the needs of the electrical technology students. This study aimed to assemble and assess the performance of the 3-Phase Alternating Current (AC) Induction Motor Sequential Controller and find out its effectiveness as an instructional apparatus. Moreover, it finds out its acceptability level in terms of performance, convenience of use, safety, assembly and cost.
