Our economy depends on productivity in agriculture. The quantity and quality of the yield is greatly affected by various hazardous diseases. Early-stage detection of plant disease will be very helpful to prevent severe damage. Automatic systems to detect the changes in the plants by monitoring the abnormal symptoms in its growth will be more beneficial for the farmers. This paper presents a system for automatic prediction and classification of plant leaf diseases. The survey on various diseases classification techniques that can be used for plant leaf disease detection are also discussed. The proposed system will define the cropped image of a plant through image processing and feature extraction algorithms. Enhanced CNN model is designed and applied for about 20,600 images are collected as a dataset. Optimization is done to enhance the accuracy in the system prediction and to show the improvement in the true positive samples classification. The proposed system shows the improvement in the accuracy of prediction as 93.18% for three different species with twelve different diseases.

Expansive Black cotton clay soils are widely distributed worldwide, and are a significant damage to infrastructure and buildigs. It is a common practice around the world to stabilize black cotton soil using fly ash to improve the strength of stabilized sub- base and sub grade soil. Soil stabilization is the improvement of strength or bearing capacity of soil by controlled compaction, proportioning or addition of suitable admixtures or stabilizers. The Black cotton soils are extremely hard when dry, but lose its strength fully when in wet condition. In monsoon they guzzle water and swell and in summer they shrink on evaporation of water from there. Because of its high Swelling and shrinkage characteristics the black cotton soils has been a challenge to the highway engineers. So in this research paper fly ash has been used to improve the various strength properties of natural black cotton soil. The objective of this research paper is to improve the engineering properties of black cotton soil by adding different percentage of fly ash by the weight of soil and make it suitable for construction. A series of standard Proctor tests (for calculation of MDD and OMC) and California Bearing Ratio (C.B.R) tests are conducted on both raw Black cotton soil and mixed soil with different percentages of fly ash (5%, 10%, 20%, 30%) by weight. A comparison between properties of raw black cotton soil, black cotton soil mixed with fly ash are performed .It is found that the properties of black cotton soil mixed with fly ash are suitably enhanced.

Investigations pertaining to the effect of admixing different amounts of fly ash on setting characteristics and compressive strength of magnesium oxychloride cement has been carried out in this paper. For this purpose, two different dry mix compositions (1:0 and 1:1) of magnesia and dolomite were prepared and 5 %, 10 %, 15 % and 20 % fly ash were added in dry mixes. The dry mixes were then gauged with 24 °Be concentration of magnesium chloride gauging solution. It was observed that initial and final setting times of cement blocks tend to increase with increasing amount of fly ash in dry mix. MOC cement blocks of 1:1 composition admixed with fly ash displayed good cementing characteristics.

Managing plastic waste is a global challenge that challenges the protection of our ecosystem due to its high rate of generation and its non-biodegradability. PWs must, however, be carefully handled to mitigate the emissions involved with their incineration and dumping into landfills. Plastic waste can be recycled into new usable building materials. In this analysis, shredded PET waste aggregate from a recycling center was heated at 230 0C and used as a binding aggregate incomplete replacement of cement with river sand to produce floor tiles. The properties of the aggregate materials and roof tiles (including their distribution of particle size, silt, clay and dust content, relative density, water absorption, porosity, flexural and compressive strength) were tested on different PET waste: sand mixing ratio, 100%, 90%, 70%, 50%, and 30%. Results revealed that the tiles produced by 30% PET and 70% river sand (3:7) achieved higher density, flexural and compressive strength than the other percentages of the mixture. The compressive strength of the tiles produced with 30 percent PET waste composition was greater than that of cement concrete (at 28 days of curing) for residential buildings. As a result of this low water absorption and eco-friendliness, PET waste can be used for roof tiles at 30 percent PET substitution based on the test results.

Improvement in economic conditions and increased standard of living has made it possible for most of the people to own multiple vehicles for personal commute. These increased number of vehicles specifically four-wheeler and heavy vehicles while running on roads causes frequent traffic jams and longer commute time specifically in crowded areas. Unfortunately, putting restrictions on use of vehicles, cannot be the solution for such problems. Instead, a solution pertaining to efficient traffic management can help here. Today’s urban cities are prone to face traffic related problems due to increased four-wheeler and two-wheeler uses. To deal with such kind of issues, Smart Cities uses smart traffic management system, which is considered as necessity rather just a requirement. In this paper, a Smart Traffic Management System: iSMART based on IOT Sensors, image processing, GPS and Data Analytics based solution is proposed. iSMART system is not only easy to install and use but also more efficient than many other typical traffic management systems claiming to be smart. It provides route optimization planner based on real time traffic data analysis and considering various traffic situations. The paper has also discussed details of various existing traffic managements systems and their typical features.

Blockchain technology is evolving in each area. Cryptocurrency is one of the prominent fields in which blockchain technology is used extensively. In conventional bank systems using fiat currencies such as Indian rupee, US dollar etc , there is a centralized authority like a bank which do the processing of transactions. Credit card frauds has been a threat that has evolved as a major source of loss for the financial sectors. It has been seen in the different parts of world causing loss of billions of dollars. It is also a area which needs attention from the researchers as the task of fraud detection can be automated using the different machine learning classifiers and data science. If the frauds model encounter the fraudulent transactions it will raise an alarm to the system administrator. The paper proposes a model which uses the machine learning classifiers to detect the fraudulent transactions. The classifiers used in the paper are SVM (Support Vectore Machine ), Isolation Forest and Local Outlier. The focus of the research is to detect the fraudulent transactions to 100% and also we emphasise on the fact that no normal transaction should be detected as fraud wrongly. The process starts with preprocessing the data and then the classifers are applied. The results from each classifers is evaluated to check the one with the better performance. The performance can be increased with use of deep learning algorithms but with the rise in expennses.

Banking sector has a vital role in Indian economy and a great change came in it after nationalization. Nationwide, there are a number of branches of banks and financial institutions have opened. Presently banking sector is facing a high level competition. Banks or financial Institutions which have maximum profit are showing maximum growth rate. By optimization of the resources of banks, cost becomes minimum and profit becomes maximum. This manuscript is an effort to make a comparative study between SBI, PNB and OBC for total income, expenses, net profit, share capital, operating expenses, share holder funds, total reserves, earning per share, total liabilities, total assets and total investments from 2014-19. Year over Year (YOY) and Compound annual growth rate (CAGR) analytical methods are used. The main parameter of this study belongs to P&L and Balance-Sheet statement of the selected banks. This research paper will be very fruitful for banks, research scholars, investors (public), and society to understand about the above given parameters.
