The Y and Z generation is currently the two generations who lives side by side and considered possess higher characteristics compared to the older generations. In terms of technology, although both are considered as digital natives, but they shared different socio-technological context. The Y generation experienced technological adaptation process of the transition of analogue to digital technology. Hence, the Z generation do not share the same experiences. In terms of marketing communication, this condition affects their way of responding digital advertising practice, especially done by the influencer. This research is aimed to explore generational gap between two generations in interpreting the practice of digital advertising shared by social media influencer by using case study method. The result shows existing differences related to the type of the preferred media and their construction of ideal figures of the social media influencers. It shows that the considered similar characteristics between two generations does not entirely correct. The difference lies in their perspective of influencer realness in terms of their personality and persuasive information. Understanding the difference perspectives between two generations leads to the consideration of the future mutigenerational marketing communication approach.

Tolerance is still the homework in Indonesia. For the period 2008-2018, Wahid Foundation mentioned there were 1.420 violations by non-state actors and 1.033 violations by state actors related to intolerance. From this, the purpose of this study is to analyze early parenting in the context of multiculturalism at the Bunda Serayu Orphanage. The research uses the theory of symbolic interaction and the research method used is qualitative with narrative research. Data were collected through interview techniques, literature studies related to the stories of orphanage children, as well as observations at the orphanage. This orphanage takes care of children from various background. The result is caregivers instill a parenting pattern of equal affection for all. The differences that give rise to conflict are framed by egalitarian parenting patterns that characterize Banyumas culture. The encounter and interaction between children, caregivers, and peers at school and funder create to a new meaning of family. Visits to places of worship of other religions are also carried out as a means of getting to know the diversity. The multicultural communication creates to understanding, appreciation, and tolerance. This parenting pattern and visits to places of worship of other religions can be replicated to invest tolerance.

Ruqyah syar’iyyah method for gay patient is one of interesting phenomenon that currently happening around society. This methods is still rare to be found, especially when it comes to treat patient that find their self as gay. Gay existency in Indonesia is still under debate among society. The contradiction created because of ruqyah syar’iyyah method that being told could help patient cured is creating another meaning for each patient itself. The purpose of this research is to understand patient motive, meaning of ruqyah syar’iyyah method for patient and the communication experience for patient. This study uses qualitative research method with phenomenology approach also uses snowball technique to get 4 informants as the subject of this research. Data collection done through in-depth interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique uses interactive data ana While for the data validation check, researcher uses triangulation and extension of participation method.The result of this study shown that first, the reason why gay patient doing ruqyah syar’iyyah method is split in two, there are past motive (because motives) (1) uncomfortable feelings (2) information from social media and (3) the willing to change, future motive (in order to motives) (1) self-intropection (2) getting close to god (3) having partner and heredity. Second, the meaning of ruqyah syar’iyyah for gay patient is Islamic law based, as a process of hijrah, and solution for variative disease. Third, the communication experience for patien is split in two which are happy and unhappy. Happy communication experience there are well accepted, getting new friends and getting peace. While for bad communication experience there are self-personal (feeling unwell), shunned by past friends, and getting underestimated

The use of smartphones causes several changes in the behavior of a person who tends to be complacent with his world without caring about society. Smartphones can have a positive or negative impact depending on their use. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of smartphone communication technology on social interaction. The research method used quantitative methods, the population was carried out at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation with a sample of 150. The results showed that there was an influence in it, that smartphone communication technology has links with users related to the process of social interaction, this can be proven by how someone uses communication tools in everyday life. The social interaction built by employees within the company seems to be very good, this is evidenced by the hypothesis obtained from data processing that smartphone communication technology in every interaction with colleagues has no effect. The interaction process will run well if it is done with face-to-face communication, without any interference from the communication tool, namely smartphones.

Corporate investment in the form of sponsorship is often carried out to establish and maintain information stability in consumers, which leads to brand awareness of products and companies. The amount of the sponsorship budget is often not on target so that its effectiveness cannot be measured. In this regard, by taking the case of the Bingen Fest event in Palembang, the research was conducted aimed at identifying how far the influence of sponsorship by Clas Mild on the development of Brand Awareness Authenticity, so that it can be used as a basis for consideration of sponsorship financing in the future. The research sample consisted of 213 respondents who were visitors to the event and the research analysis used was simple linear regression. The test results show that 90.6 percent of the event segment is generation Z with a visit repetition rate of 64.88 percent. Clas Mild sponsorship itself has a strong impact with a large influence of 49.1 percent on the development of Brand Awareness Authenticity.

This article aims to describe complexity of news texts on discourse Desa Tangguh Bencana (Destana) in Yogyakarta and Surabaya which are contained in online media throughout the process of handling the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. This article use the critical discourse analysis (CDA) from Teun A van Dijk’s model (1988) to analyze the structure of news report which consists of two main categories: summary and story. The summary aspect is reduced to an analysis of headlines and leads. The story is revealed to analysis of the situation and comments. The result of analysis found that had been a shift in Destana discourse in 2 (two) online media (merdeka.com, and medcom.id3). The discourse shitfting comes from an informative discourse to an investigative discourse during May – November 2020. Another finding was that there was a pattern of the use of issues and discourses that remain the same as a 'stage' for the appearance of the political elite. They have been using Destana's humanist discourse to become politically charged with the shift in the word 'Desa' into 'Kampung'.

ABSTRACT The diversity of tribes, religions, races, and between groups for the Indonesian people is a strength to build a great nation. The younger generation's understanding of the cultural diversity of Indonesia is fading due to the impact of globalization, so an education program for love of the homeland is needed. One of the educational programs is the Student Know the Archipelago Program which is sponsored by a company that is part of a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) conducted by PT. Pertamina in Papua Province. The purpose of this research is to know about implementing Corporate Social Responsibility through the student program to know Nusantara by PT Pertamina (Persero). The research method used is a descriptive study with qualitative data types through data collection techniques conducted utilizing interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results showed that in the planning phase of PT Pertamina SMN CSR program which refers to the concept of Hohnen shows there is still some inconformity implementation of CSR program due to the condition of Papua area that has limitations in access to information and communication. This limitation can make the lack of a valid CSR program SMN 2018 held by PT. Pertamina (Persero) in campaigning for the diversity of Indonesian culture. Simpulan showed that PT. Pertamina has been striving to be able to realize the CSR program as a manifestation of the responsibility of BUMN present for the state.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has lasted for more than a year has changed many things. One thing that has changed is family communication, especially one whose members have been confirmed positive for Covid-19. This study aims to determine: 1) the communication patterns of the families of covid-19 survivors; 2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in healing psychological trauma due to Covid-19; and 3) the communication patterns of the survivors before, during, and after recovering from Covid-19. The research method used is a case study conducted in Sawitan Village, Banyumas Regency, and Rikmayung Village, Cilacap Regency. The study results show that: 1) family members are the prominent supporters of communication during survivors experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, and during the initial recovery period and socializing with the community; 2) the supporting factor for healing psychological trauma is family communication with a positive tone and good communication with neighbours and the environment, while the inhibiting factor is communication avoidance, and 3) Covid-19 survivors tend to communicate more empathy with other sufferers and are more careful in carrying out health protocols.

The research method used is a case study conducted in Sawitan Village, Banyumas Regency, and Rikmayung Village, Cilacap Regency. The role of government public relations in the era of technological and information advancement is now no longer as a transmitter of information, but as a strategic element in supporting the successful implementation of government programs. Especially creating a reputation for good governance in the community. Therefore, the role of Public Relations Public Relations needs to be developed to be more proactive so that it is able to package information, oblique news that develops in the community and straighten it according to true, balanced and proportional facts so that people do not have bad perceptions about the government. The focus of the problem is the role of government public relations (Government Public Relations) in creating a good government reputation in the eyes of the community, as well as the objectives and functions of Government Public Relations (Government Public Relations) in creating a good government reputation in the eyes of the public. The research method uses literature study. Public Relations is designed based on serious research, planning and evaluation. The work process of Public Relations is a continuous circular process, and is a continuous process in the form of a spiral. INPOWER-CARE programs as the implementation of Community Relations is the fostered partner of Omah Kreteg Anggana, this activity aims to develop skills and welfare for the community, especially around the company by promoting the Suralaya locality, namely sambal kreteg. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and development of the INPOWER-CARE program of Omah Kreteg Anggana's fostered partners as the implementation of the Community Relations program. This study used a qualitative approach with case study methods and data collection techniques by conducting observations, in-depth interviews with four informants, documentation and literature. The results of this study indicate that the Division of Public Relations and Community Development PT. Indonesia Power Suralaya PGU in implementing the program, Community Relations, namely by maintaining relationships with the community by conducting socialization needed by the community and establishing intimacy with the people who participate in the program. Meanwhile, in developing the program of Omah Kreteg Anggana's fostered partners, they carried out institutional strengthening in accordance with the RENSTRA and RENJA. With the implementation of this program, the relationship between the company and the community is getting closer and mutually beneficial to one another.
