Comparison Between Segmental and Salient Rotors of Single-phase Field Excitation Flux Switching Motor with Non-Overlap Windings for Lightweight Applications 轻量化无重叠绕组单相励磁开关电机分段转子与凸极转子的比较

The main advantages of field excitation flux switching motor (FEFSM) are high power, simple structure and, robust rotor, making it very suitable for high-speed applications. However, the previous single-phase FEFSMs using overlap winding and salient rotor have high rotor weight, low torque and low efficiency need to be improved. In this paper, a new structure of single-phase non-overlap winding FEFSMs using salient (SalRoN) and segmental (SegRoN) rotors are proposed. The proposed motors are designed and analysed by 2D-FEA via JMAG Designer version 15. Performances verification is conducted by comparing the various magnetic flux characteristics, torque at multiple combinations of armature current and field excitation current, and torque-power versus speed profiles. In short, the SegRoN design has produced power, initial torque and based speed of 277.5 W, 0.91 Nm and 2,899 rpm which are higher than SalRoN design of 3.2 times, 2.1 times, and 63.9%, respectively. As a conclusion, performances of the proposed non-overlap windings FEFSMs have been successfully compared, SegRoN design having high potential to be applied for lightweight applications.

Perazuhan: A Mobile Application for Solid Waste Micro-Management Framework Perazuhan:固体废物微管理框架的移动应用

Improper solid waste management poses a major concern not only in the Philippines but also on a global scale. Metro Manila has more serious concerns in waste management than in other urban areas in the Philippines affecting nearly twelve (12) million of its people. In response to the efforts initiated by the Philippine government to help reduce solid waste problems, the Local Government Units (LGUs) have recognized the role of junk shops in promoting proper waste management. The community, on the other hand, is encouraged to collect recyclable materials to be sold to junkshop owners and scrap buyers. This collect-sell method to the community has been referred to as “may pera sa basura” or there is money in waste to promote proper waste management. This study promotes proper solid waste management in the barangay level by presenting a mobile application framework dubbed as Perazuhan, a contraction between Pera (Money) and Basura (Trash or waste) which signifies that you can get money out of the selling solid wastes. This technologically driven approach provides a manageable and accessible selling of recyclable materials like bottles, newspapers, papers, and plastics to junk shops. To regulate the collection and selling of recyclable materials, the barangay officials will serve as an intermediary between the junk shops and community to develop full inclusive waste management.

Comparison of Fast and Slow Wave Correlation with Various Porosities between Two Measurement Technique 两种测量技术在不同孔隙度下的快慢波相关性比较

With the discovery of fast and slow wave propagated through cancellous bone, the precision of the ultrasound measurement using through transmission technique to estimate bone quality getting better but limited to the certain part of the skeletal site. Thus, the pulse echo technique is proposed to solve the problem as the technique only uses one transducer to operate. The objective of this paper is to conduct an experiment for through transmission and pulse echo technique to investigate correlation fast and slow wave with various porosity of polyurethane foam. The recorded “incident” and “reflected” waves (mix wave) is then processed with the bandlimited deconvolution method in order to estimate the overlapping fast and slow wave. Further, the parameters for the mix, fast and slow waves for both incident and reflected wave are calculated, plotted against porosity and compared based on the correlation coefficient performance. The result shows that, the slope of attenuation of reflected and incident for both fast and slow waves shows a good correlation with porosity. The effect of scattering playing an important role for the total attenuation instead of absorption at high porosity, due to the acoustic properties of polyurethane foam is almost the same with water. Compared to mix wave, fast and slow wave is more correlated to the changes of porosity. Moreover, the reflected wave may suffer more effect of attenuation compared to the incident wave, thus, makes the correlation between wave parameter with porosity is lesser. Overall result indicates that, analyzed fast and slow wave instead of mix wave to estimate bone quality might improve the measurement accuracy.

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) are a promising innovation to empower the correspondences among vehicles and among vehicles and street/road side units (RSU). Another calculation to develop Stable clusters is acquainted with perform cluster based directing (CBR) and to improve the presentation of VANETs. The steady bunching calculation cluster the hubs dependent on the position and course data to frame stable groups and chooses cluster head dependent on a multi-metric calculation. This strategy decreases the overhead of re-clustering and lead to a productive progressive system topology. The proposed framework is assessed utilizing simulation software NS2 (Network simulation 2). The presentation parameters incorporate throughput, end to end delay and normal cluster change per vehicle. Simulation results uncover that there is increment in throughput, and decrease in propagation delay and normal cluster change per vehicle. VANET is considers as a self sorted out type of MANET. It is not quite the same as MANET by fast topology change, visit interface disappointment and so forth. The primary disadvantage is VANET is organizing flimsiness. In these primarily two unique conventions is being utilized to diminish the system in solidness. To improve the exhibition of the bunch CBLTR, OLSR are utilized as a routing convention.

Ovarian Cancer Classification Accuracy Analysis Using 15-Neuron Artificial Neural Networks Model 基于15神经元人工神经网络模型的卵巢癌分类准确率分析

Ovarian cancer is a severe disease for older woman. Based on the research, ovarian cancer is the fifth commonly disease and the seventh causes of death for woman worldwide. For ovarian cancer classification problem, many researchers have performed using Artificial Neural Network (ANN). Classification accuracy is a significant factor for taking decision by the Doctors. Higher classification accuracy can help to take the decision by doctors for giving proper treatment. Accurate and early diagnosis can save lives and reduce the percentage of mortality. This study focuses classification accuracy analysis of ovarian cancer. The purpose of this study is to analyze the classification accuracy using 15-neuron ANN model. The proposed model is benchmarked on ovarian cancer dataset. The achieving result from the proposed model has been compared with the other four classification algorithms. The proposed model has achieved 98.7% ovarian cancer classification accuracy which is more promising and higher than other classification algorithms.
