This research took place at the São Vicente de Paulo Charity Hospital (HCSV) located in the city of Jundiaí, São Paulo State, Brazil, between 2015 and 2016. From April 2015 to November 2016, the hospital was the stage for the implementation of a new ward for the hospitalization of people with mental disorders in crisis. The proposal was that people with acute mental health conditions could be hospitalized in their own city and in a general hospital, since the existing psychiatric hospitals in Brazil were considered to be of limited effectiveness and high risks of human rights violations. This process was analyzed using the theoretical reference of institutional analysis. ABSTRACT

The phenomenon of hearing voices has not always been considered a diagnostic criterion for a psychopathological condition, whose assumption legitimizes the social stigma of madness through the hegemonic medical discourse. The elimination of those voices as the only possibility of treatment impoverishes the integral dimension of the voice hearer and the inclusion of those voices in his life, through medicalization practices still guided by a biologist view at mental health. This article runs through the socio-cultural aspects surrounding the phenomenon, as well as the theoretical dialogue between Psychiatry, Psychopathology and Psychoanalysis. This is an exploratory narrative review, linked to an experience report of a group of Voice Hearers, based on the Intervoice Movement, which aims to provide a space for sharing the phenomenon. Therefore, through the protagonization of voice hearers, it’s possible to propose a depathologization as an important movement to anti-asylum guidelines. ABSTRACT

In the pandemic context, I served a young woman through writing. A priori, the calls took place by text messages exchanged by WhatsApp™ and then started to be through the chat of the videoconferencing platform Google Meet™, in real time. The service through writing in the psychoanalytic clinic is quite unusual, highlighting the importance of transference. This article seeks to analyze the status of the transference forged through the treatment performed by writings in the psychoanalytic clinic, from the extract of a clinical case. In this experience mentioned above, it was found that it is possible for transference to operate through writing. In the case in question, the transference that was woven through writing was through the imaginary rope. Written assistance has some distinct particularities from speech assistance, thus, they need to be considered and requiring us, psychoanalysts, psychologists to think about these differences and how it is something new requires more research. This research discusses the psychoanalytical methodology of investigation – construction of the clinical case – as a resource in the treatment of subjective urgencies. The word brought by the subject who arrives at the psychiatric hospital is collected as the guiding point of the treatment, while the narratives of the family and institution are also summoned to compose the case. From the construction of João’s clinical case, we verified the rupture that occurs in the statement of the psychotic subject in front of the other as an absolute and concrete instance, causing the urgency to erupt. The position of secretariat adopted by professionals in the figure of the analyst, however, raises fragments of discourse that gradually give support to the subject’s body-house. This unprecedented solution that he presented offers to the practice elements to think about possible treatments to the Other and the passage to the act in psychosis. ABSTRACT

The clinical structure of psychosis has posed new challenges regarding psychosocial attention to mental health, especially concerning the particularity of psychotic subjects in placing themselves in the world. Understanding the specificities of these as what they are, possible subjective destinations, different modes - not deficits - is a sine qua non condition for mental health care. With that in mind and in accordance with analytical knowledge, it is considered counterproductive to deny the differences but should therefore recognize and respect them so that they circulate and speak in its own name. The Brazilian Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) appears as an important resource for this condition to be made effective insofar as its objective is to overcome the culture of isolation and modify the relations of society with the different, promoting bonds and the exercise of rights that are configured as a fundamental direction in mental health care. The global health crisis caused by the SARS-COV-2 pandemic, COVID 19, made necessary emergency measures of social isolation to alleviate the collapse in hospitals and the exponential transmission of the virus but, in Brazil, such measures were not enough to avoid the work overload of health professionals who work on the front lines. Thus, this article aims to debate and reflect on the mental health of health professionals in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to carry out this article, an exploratory study of a qualitative nature was carried out through a bibliographic survey in the Virtual Health Library - Psychology (BVS-Psi) and Journals of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) databases. The descriptors Mental Health AND Nurses AND Covid-19 and the descriptors Mental Health AND Physicians AND Covid-19 were used. So, 16 articles were selected for the composition of an integrative review and later a categorization of the themes was carried out: 1) risk factors related to mental health in times of pandemic and 2) coping strategies. Thus, the implications of intense work demands, experiences in situations that trigger guilt, fear and anger in the mental health of health professionals were observed, as well as the urgent need to facilitate the care of these professionals through the strengthening of health care strategies. coping. It was also understood, as some limitations, the absence of articles that addressed the situation of nursing technicians in the context of the pandemic, as well as studies that covered the reality of other regions of the country. Therefore, we consider the need for further studies to be developed to apprehend these aspects and enable a more complete understanding. ABSTRACT

In the field of psychosocial care, the practice of sports not only contributes to the improvement of the clinical condition, but also favors the development of processes involved in the psychiatric reform movement in our country. The present work refers to the theme of Mental Health care wi-thin the perspective of deinstitutionalization. The objective was to present the football workshop developed in a Psychosocial Care Center from the perspective of the Coexistence clinic. For that, the qualitative methodology was used, with ideas of the cartographic method, considering the engagement in the territory and the availability to the experience. Data were recorded through field diaries, which were evaluated through Content Analysis. Based on the theoretical reference of the Coexistence clinic and authors of the field of mental health, the following categories were reached: “deinstitutionalization: word of action for soccer”, “soccer in CAPS: exercise of co - existence”, and “possibilities of paths: relationship and reintegration into the community”. The meetings of the group enabled diverse learning and contributed to the recovery process in mental health. It is important to point out the importance of organizing activities based on the perspective of Coexistence in mental health services, so that the deinstitutionalizing logic is concretely achieved in professional practices.
