Assessment of Healthcare Workers' Knowledge to Occupational hazards in Some Hospitals of Thi-Qar Governorate /Iraq 伊拉克济加尔省部分医院医护人员职业危害知识评估

Employees in the healthcare industry operate in one of the riskiest workplaces Healthcare employees suffer a number of dangers as a result of their job last activities in addition to the usual workplace-related risks. These risks come from a variety of sources including biological, physical, psychological, and chemical agents. The study's objectives were to investigate the levels of knowledge held by medical and paramedical personnel regarding occupational dangers in their workplaces. Moreover, the relationships between various demographic characteristics of these staff members and their knowledge of such hazards were investigated. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in hospitals, During the period of November 5th, 2022 to February 10th, 2023. A number of 355 people were participated in the study, information about (Knowledge) the data was collected through a structured questionnaire and the data was collected using self-report Technique. Regarding the Knowledge, the results of the present study showed that all responses regarding the preceding domain had a moderate evaluation. Also, the result show that the health care worker knowledge impact with education level and the year of age and year of experience. Depending on the collected results, it can be concluded that the medical and paramedical staff had below good (moderate) Knowledge regarding the occupational hazards in their working environment.

Medical Ozone Treatment Alleviate Blood Oxidative Stress And Pancreas Damage In an Alloxan-Induced Diabetes Model in Rats 医用臭氧治疗减轻阿脲诱导糖尿病模型大鼠的血液氧化应激和胰腺损伤

Diabetic mellitus (DM ) is a prevalent systemic disease affecting a human and animals. The effects of diabetes are devastating and well documented. The increased production and/or ineffective scavenging of reactive oxygen species (ROS) may play a critical role in the development of diabetic complications. Therefore, it seems reasonable that antioxidants can play an important role in the improvement of diabetes. So, use medical ozone to study if it can regulate the oxidative complications of DM .The study was carried out on forty eight  albino females rats included six groups Group I (Control) : 8 female rats were  injected  IP  with  citrate buffer (0.1 M, pH 5) daily for 6 weeks ,Group II (MO ): 8 female rats were  injected  IP 1.1 mg/kg  b.w of MO daily for 6 weeks ,Group III (DM): 8 female rats induce diabetes by injection IP with  freshly prepared alloxan 150 mg/kg b.w in citrate buffer (pH 5), Group IV(DM+MO): 8 diabetic female rats were injected  IP 1.1 mg/kg  b.w of MO daily for 6 weeks,  group V(DM + Insulin): 8 diabetic female rats were injected subcutaneously 0.75 IU/100 g b.w. of Insulin daily for 6 weeks ,Group VI(DM +MO +Insulin):8diabetic female rats were injected IP 1.1 mg/kg  b.w of MO and Insulin  injected subcutaneously at a dose of 0.75 IU/100 g b.w , respectively daily for 6 weeks. experimental study parameters include  antioxidant enzymes assay and histology the study for pancreas.

Effect entomopathogenic fungi in control Culex pipiens 昆虫病原真菌防治库蚊的效果

 Culex pipiens mosquitos are thought to be vectors for many arboviruses, including West Nile virus and encephalitis virus, which have a global impact on human health. The natural management of this pest's aquatic stages is critical for sustaining an insecticide-free environment. The current study focused on the biological and biochemical effects of the entomopathogenic fungi Beauveria bassiana and Trichoderma harizanium on Culex pipiens laboratory colony 3rd instar larvae.             The results showed that B. bassiana had the highest larval mortality (22%) with the concentration 1x106 spore/ml and the period exposure recorded (36.6% )shortest lethal time (120 hrs), followed by T. harizanium (17.3%) with concentration 1x107 spore/ml and the period exposure recorded (29.1%) shortest lethal time (120 hrs), and had the lowest percent mortality (16%) with the concentration 1x103 spore/ml and period exposure with (6%) longest (24 hrs) for B. bassiana and had the lowest percent mortality (4%) with the concentration 1x103 spore/ml for T. harizanium and period exposure with 24 hrs  (12.5%).

A review Study of The Chemical Constituents and Pharmacological Activities of Alstonia scholaris linn 金菖蒲的化学成分及药理活性研究进展

The Indian medical systems hold promise for the genus Alstonia. Different types of Alstonia, primarily Alstonia scholaris, have been used by the various ethnic communities in India to treat various human illnesses. A historically significant medicinal herb is Alstonia scholaris. The Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asian nations are the native habitats of this evergreen tree. The plant is used in conventional, Ayurveda, Unani, homoeopathic, Sidhha/Tamil, and other alternative medical systems to treat a variety of illnesses, including asthma, malaria, fever, dysentery, diarrhea, epilepsy, skin conditions, and snakebites, among others. Alkaloids make up the majority of reported phytochemicals. In this review, reports on pharmacological and phytochemical varieties of A. scholaris are compiled.

The Prevalence and the significance of the Pulmonary Bacterial Super-Infections among Hospitalized COVID-19 patients : A scoping Review 2019冠状病毒病住院患者肺部细菌超感染的患病率及意义:范围综述

Mortality of any respiratory viral diseases usually attributed in part to other reasonse than damaging effect of the virus alone. One of these reasons is the bacterial superinfection. For this reason, this scoping review attamt to evaluate the significant conterbution of bacterial super-infection on the mortality among hospitalized COVID-19 patients and also to determine the true revalence of bacterial super-infections in that population. Accordingly, a  systematic search was employed with precise criteria on the  MEDLINE, SCOPUS, PUBMED, and GOOGLE SCHOLAR databases published in the English language in the period of three years from January 2020 to January 2023. The Prevalence of bacterial super-infection (BSI) among COVID-19 patients constitutes a point of contention among publications. this heterogeneity among publications came from the semantic dilemma of co-infection and super-infection. co-infection was determined to be found in a relatively narrow range (1.2-3.1%) while, Prevalence of bacterial super-infection among COVID-19 patients varied from 18.2 to 50%.  The bacterial super-infection appears to significantly increase COVID-19 mortality, with the Odd ratio ranging from 1.76 to 10.53 [CI 95%]. Bacterial super-infection among hospitalized COVID-19 patients represents a non-recognized threat, especially during the first wave of the pandemic. The Prevalence of bacterial super-infection is comparable with those observed in previous influenza and SARS epidemics. A significant contribution of bacterial super-infection, especially the pulmonary to mortality of COVID-19 patients, was observed clearly

Human CCL3L1 gene expression in blood donors infected with HIV-1 人CCL3L1基因在感染HIV-1的献血者中的表达

The CCL3L1 gene plays an important role in regulating immunity against many pathogens. The aim of this study, which was conducted in Thi-Qar province from February 2022 to February 2023, was to estimate the gene expression of the CCL3L1 gene in people infected with HIV compared to the control group. There was an increase in the level of gene expression in patients, where it was (17.02778 ) compared to the control group, which was (1.428108) using qPCR. There is a need for more molecular studies and follow-up of genetic and immunological changes in infected patients.

Abstract                                                                                                                                                     Skin aging has both underlying and extraneous  factors. the outermost organ of the human body, the skin suffers from environmental damage to agents such as air pollution and cigarette smoking, the resulting skin aging is called extraneous aging, which is also known as photoaging or the exposure to sunlight via UV radiation. Retinoid  refers to the synthetic and natural analogues of vitamin A. Retinoids  are a class of compounds derived from vitamin A or showing structural and/or functional similarities to vitamin A. Retinoids as dermatological agents that are widely applied in cosmetics and effective against acne, psoriasis, skin aging, and other skin conditions. Their  susceptibility to degradation is a limiting factor for their widespread use, In other words; retinoid concentration in cosmetics is restricted, and one particular form–retinoic acid, is banned due to safety reasons. These include retinol, retinal, tretinoin (retinoic acid), isotretinoin, and alitretinoin, etretinate, adapalene, bexarotene, tazarotene, and Trifarotene.  The aim of this review is to introduce  the different uses of different types of retinoid in cosmetic and dermatological treatments. Preparation and Characterization of ZnO NWs/Graphene Nanocomposite as an Effective Photoanode Electrode for Improving the Performance of the Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells ZnO NWs/石墨烯纳米复合材料作为提高染料敏化太阳能电池性能的有效光阳极电极的制备与表征

In the present study, DSSCs were fabricated using pure ZnO NWs and ZnO NWs/Graphene nanocomposite as photoelectrodes. Graphene was incorporated into pure ZnO NWs through a cost-effective Hydrothermal Process to act as an electrical charge carrier. J-V curve of prepared nanocomposite was recorded with a light intensity of 100 mW.cm-2. The created nanocomposites were thoroughly investigated by using different electrical and structural characterization techniques such as SEM, XRD, and J-V characteristics. According to SEM examination, the ZnO NWs/graphene composite-based electrode has more porosity than the electrode made using pure ZnO NWs, which will increase the surface area and the amount of dye that can be absorbed. From the graphene advantages the reduced internal resistance and electron recombination loss, these properties allow electrons to transfer to the collection electrode efficiently. Based on these benefits, the ZnO NWs/Graphene nanocomposite photoanode with thickness of 965.11 nm that was used in the DSSC2 was demonstrated a Jsc of 19.50 mA.cm-2 and conversion efficiency of 9.829053%, which opposite to the result of the DSSC1 without graphene. These results can be encouraged for future improved optoelectronic devices.

Nonlinear quantum dot light emitting diode dynamics and synchronization with optoelectronic feedback 非线性量子点发光二极管动力学与光电反馈同步

We studies a three-variable dimensionless model for a quantum dot light emitting diode (QD-LED) subject to optoelectronic feedback (OEFB). In dependence of the feedback strength and delay-time we analyze complex bifurcation scenarios for the intensity of the emitted light as well as time series, fast Fourier translate (FFT) and phase plane of all dynamic variables in order to elucidate the dynamics of the light emitting diode. The chaotic dynamic is completely determined by both the variation of the OEFB strength and delay-time of the QD-LED, as evidenced by bifurcation diagram. Our results show that small delay time lead to repeat periodicity of the light emitting towards OEFB. Furthermore, we study chaos synchronization of two QD-LED which are coupled via a unidirectional and bidirectional coupling system. When periodic systems are non-identical, both unidirectional and bidirectional systems depending on the coupling strength parameter the system exhibits completely synchronization. Residual chaos, the mean coherence and entropy are discussed as well.
