It is known that the science literacy score in Indonesia in PISA (Programe for International Student Assement) which is carried out in 2022 is up 6 positions compared to 2018. However, the score dropped by 13 points. This needs to be improved the quality of education in Indonesia, one of the factors that influence it is the lack of innovation in the use of science literacy-based learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics, feasibility, and response to picture card media based on science literacy in grade V elementary school ecosystem materials. The research method used is R&D with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. To determine the feasibility of the media, a validation test was carried out by material experts and media experts using validation sheets. From the expert validation test, the material obtained a percentage of 100% with a very decent category. The results of the media test obtained a percentage of 100% with a very decent category. To determine the media response, respondents were filled out questionnaires by teachers and students. The results of students' responses to the media obtained a percentage of 93% in the very good category. While the results of the teacher's response obtained a percentage of 95% with a very good category. This study found that the picture card media based on science literacy ecosystem material is very feasible and very good to be used as a learning medium that can be an idea and motivation for teachers to make learning media innovations. In addition, it can help students in the learning process and increase knowledge related to science literacy skills. Further research can develop picture card media with other subjects and materials.

This research aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education on startup business competencies through the empowerment of prospective makeup artists. The study employs a quantitative approach with structural equation model analysis techniques using the AMOS application. The population of this study comprises alumni of the Entrepreneurial Skills Education Program (PKW) from Training and Course Institutes (LKP) between 2016 and 2018 in West Java. The sampling technique used is random sampling. Data were obtained through a questionnaire completed by 136 respondents. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurship education does not have a significant effect on startup business competencies through the empowerment of prospective makeup artists. However, entrepreneurship education significantly influences two variables: startup business competencies (48.6%) and the empowerment of prospective makeup artists (89.1%). The study reveals the reasons for the low achievement of the PKW Program's success based on two indicators. Indicator II states that at least 75% of graduates should be able to start a business, and Indicator III specifies that at least 30% of those who start a business should earn an income equivalent to the local minimum wage within six months. The low success rate of the PKW Program in this study is explained by the limited skills of the mentors and the lack of reflection activities during the mentoring process. This research highlights the urgent need for effective mentors when prospective bridal makeup artists design and launch their startups. Mentors play a critical role in providing business insights, market advice, and market validation. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of mentors and establish qualification standards for startup business mentors.

Quality assurance in vocational education and training (VET) becoming a concern driven by evolving educational landscapes and the demand for skilled and job-ready individuals. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research on VET quality assurance from the year 2003 to 2022. Data was visualized using VOSviewer and Tableau. This paper aims to provide insights into the quantitative distrubution, citation pattern, geographical dispersion, and emerging topics in this field. Results show an increasing volume of publications on quality assurance in VET. The citation pattern suggests that the depth of exploration and engagement with existing knowledge is not proportionally robust. Russian Federation emerges as a prominent contributor in terms of document output. A lack of international research collaboration among countries, signaling a need for increased global engagement. The identified trends in research can be categorized into three clusters. Cluster 1 focuses on aspects related to the implementation of quality assurance in VET, Cluster 2 delves into methodological approaches in this context, and Cluster 3 explores research contexts associated with the value, benefits, or objectives of implementing quality assurance in VET. This article also offers a reflection on the findings as research that necessitates further exploration. This article can serve as a valuable resource for empirical researchers seeking to examine the temporal evolution of study participants and the shifting research themes pertaining to quality assurance in vocational education.

The concept of tourism villages is indeed a trend in Indonesia and various parts of the world, so it is not surprising that many tourists visit tourism villages. However, the development of the tourism sector is inseparable from the risk of crime, one of which is crime and sexual exploitation, whose targets are children. Crime and sexual exploitation of children have been rampant in tourist destinations in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. The crimes and exploitation of children in tourist attractions: 1) child marriage, 2) child prostitution, 3) child sex trafficking, 4) online child pornography, 5) child trafficking. This study aims to conduct an analysis to develop a child-friendly tourist village free of exploitation to Sirnajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Respondents in this study were 44 people with details of 40 tourists, one head of Sirnajaya Village, and three tourism managers in Sirnajaya Village. The results showed that applying the eco-edutainment-based quantum teaching model could improve student learning outcomes by 79.83%, or the experimental class experienced an effective increase, while the control class was only 58.51% or experienced a sufficient increase. So, applying quantum teaching models based on eco-edutainment can improve student learning outcomes.","PeriodicalId":234954,"journal":{"name":"JIV-Jurnal Ilmiah Visi","volume":" 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139141385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
The important skills identified by UNESCO for the 21st century remain related to the four pillars of education, including: 1) learning to find out, 2) learning to do, 3) learning to be personal), an 4) learning to live together in peace (learning to live together in peace). One of the skills that must be empowered through the learning process in higher education is metacognitive skills. The aim of this research is to increase metacognitive abilities through the Reading Questioning Answering (RQA) model assisted by learning journals in social and development problems courses." This research method is a quasi-experimental type. The results of research on the influence of the RQA (Reading Questioning and Answering) model assisted by learning journals on students' metacognitive abilities in learning social and development issues, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the RQA (Reading Questioning and Answering) learning model assisted by learning journals on students' metacognitive learning outcomes with Gain score analysis shows that there is a significant difference in the Gain Score percentage. The difference in the percentage value of the gain score obtained from the two. The control group got a percentage of 10% in the ineffective category. Meanwhile, the experimental group had a G-Score percentage of 60% in the quite effective category. The results of implementing learning with RQA assisted by learning journals are effective in improving students' metacognitive skills
