Impact of COVID19 on Factors other Than Health In India 2019冠状病毒病对印度健康以外因素的影响

Present paper try to highlight few of parallelequally important events other than disease, infections,quarantine and testing in Indian society duringlockdown due to spread of Pandemic COVID-19. This case study tryto understand the impact of pandemics in the fabrics of one of oldest civilization- the Indian Society. This study alsohighlights stringent and biased government policies in handling such situation by not only diverting most ofresources towards health related issues but also restricted to present pandemic only. There are multiple thingscontribute in our civilization , health is one of it , we can consider it the most essential thing but certainly not the‘ALL’. History has witnessed many incidences of sacrifices of human lives to guard our society and civilization. Itwas important to know the impact of COVID-19 on some of other essential parameters of present human societylike Social Trust , Cultural Values,Mental Health, Religious belief , House hold Economy. This paper deals withimpact of COVID 19 on these factors in Indian society.

Automatic Billing Cart 自动计费车

Shopping malls are a much more convenient place where people buy products of daily necessity. Onholidays, a lot of rush can be seen in shopping malls and it becomes a very tedious task to get the billing done. Incosmopolitan cities, to shop at supermarkets and shopping markets an everyday task. Everyone of us hasencountered long queues for the payment of the bill at shopping centers during holidays and weekends, the rushincrease seven more at the time of festive seasons because of the discounts and product offers. Customers pick theproducts they want to buy and put them into their shopping carts. After customers have picked the products, theyneed to get the billing done. For the payment of the bill, they have to move to billing counter. At the billing counterthe cashier, scans the products using a barcode scanner and then produces the bill. This is a manually operatedprocess and hence, time consuming. Therefore, it leads to the long queues at billing counters. This paper proposes away to develop a brilliant shopping cart system that will monitor the purchased products and help produce the billin a less time-consuming way. This paper looks forward to solving the problem of rush at billing counter using abarcode scanner and RF transceiver that sends and receives the data.

Malaria Parasite Identification using Feature Based Recognition 基于特征识别的疟疾寄生虫识别

Malaria is one in all the life threatening diseases. Diagnosis of diseases like malaria is very hooked in tothe identification of parasites in blood. Various methods are applied for this process. The majority of all methoduses machine learning to identify the malarial parasites. This method has shortcomings in long training time andalso the must be retrained if a replacement data emerged. Among all of the other various methods that are used,identification using feature based recognition is likely to be rarely used. This method is powerful within the termthat it doesn't require training process, but only an image sample from which the feature are visiting be extracted.During this paper, we design an identification process for blood parasites using one all told the famous localfeature extraction algorithms, i.e. SURF (Speeded-Up Robust Features). In our experiment, we evaluate the systemto spot Plasmodium parasites. During this experiment, we are focusing only on parasite’s gametocyte stage. Here,we use the system to spot whether or not the parasite is Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium malariae,Plasmodium ovale, or Plasmodium vivax.

Analytical Study on Seismic Performance of Self-CompactingConcrete Column Reinforced with Steel and GFRP Rebar 钢与GFRP筋自密实混凝土柱抗震性能分析研究

The self-compacting concrete is described as one of the environment friendly concrete which has severalbenefits over ordinary concrete. The main advantages of self-compacting concrete are that problem associated withvibration is eliminated. It is a non-segregating concrete that have benefits such as high bond to reinforcing steel,superior strength and durability, improved structural integrity etc. The Glass Fiber reinforced Polymer (GFRP)rebars are preferable alternative to steel rebars for minimizing corrosion problems In this paper, analytical study iscarried out to investigate the seismic performance of self-compacting concrete circular columns reinforced withGFRP rebars and are compared with columns reinforced with steel rebars. The main parameters considered for thestudy are slenderness ratio and confinement techniques. The circular column of slenderness ratio 4, 6, and 8 areconsidered for the study. The seismic performance is carried out by Push over analysis using ANSYS software.

:Isatin is a naturally occurring substance present in humans, animals, plants and coal tar. Isatinitself exhibits a variety of biological effects (invivo and invitro) and substituted isatins are reported topossess a wide range of pharmacological properties such as antimicrobial, antineoplastic, analgesic, antiinflammatory, antipyretic, enzyme activity, CNS activity, antiprotozoal, antihelminthic and association withbiomolecules. In this review article, we have attempted to compile the most signigicant reports (1877 to2002) of biological and pharmacological activites of isatin and its derivatives.

Simulation and Analysis of a 3-Phase Induction Motor and aBrushless DC Motor Using Simulink 基于Simulink的三相感应电机和无刷直流电动机仿真与分析

This paper proposes the Simulation and Analysis of a 3-Phase Induction Motor and a Brushless DCMotor using the MATLAB/Simulink environment. In this paper a three-phase squirrel cage induction motor issimulated under different load conditions and the characteristic graphs of this motor are obtained. Induction motorsare the most widely used motor drive and thus the results obtained are important in understanding and designingthe motor for precise command and control. In a BLDC motor, the torque characteristic plays an important role inthe design and analysis of BLDC motor drive systems which is used in industries for automated vehicles andcollaborative robots. Therefore, it is necessary to predict the precise value of torque, which is determined by thecharacteristics obtained as a result of simulating back EMF vs time for the BLDC motor addressed in this paper.Both these motors are most widely used and find their application in various industries such as Automotive industry,Automobile sector, Aerospace, Pulp and Paper industry, Medical, consumer, Induction Automation Equipment andInstrumentation

Codecraft Competition: Learning to Code Through Contests UsingScratch 编程竞赛:通过竞赛学习使用scratch编写代码

In this article, the design principles that guided the development of the Codecraft competition arediscussed together with strategies for making the contest engaging for everyone. A random selection of 30 educatorsand 30 students who participated in the contests were also interviewed to find out their views about the competitionand its impact on their computational thinking and creativity skills. Furthermore, 85 projects made up of codes fromthe Scratch program and submitted during the final round of the contest during the years 2016 to 2018 wereprocessed using an online analytical tool known as Dr Scratch. To identify the progress made by the students, thedifferent computational thinking concepts were analysed more deeply. The study revealed that over three years ofthe Codecraft competition, there was a significant improvement regarding the use of programming concepts, logic,and computational practices. Moreover, the average computational thinking (CT) score of the projects increasedfrom 11.8 in 2016 to 14.2 in 2017 and 16.0 in 2018. Learning of computational concepts through an active contestbased approach also highlighted several advantages, such as motivation, fun, commitment, and enthusiasm,showing improvements related to creativity, computational thinking, and computational practices.

To identify the progress made by the students, the\u0000different computational thinking concepts were analysed more deeply. The study revealed that over three years of\u0000the Codecraft competition, there was a significant improvement regarding the use of programming concepts, logic,\u0000and computational practices. Moreover, the average computational thinking (CT) score of the projects increased\u0000from 11.8 in 2016 to 14.2 in 2017 and 16.0 in 2018. Due to increasing Globalization it is very much essential for manufacturers to produce goods havinghighest reliability and in required time. This is achieved by using various manufacturing methods. The transformerswhich are currently assembled for Welding Machines require hammering of the extruded Metal plate. This methodrequires large Human effort in form of Hammering. Hence the safety of the operator is also at a risk. The mainpurpose of this system is to automate the bending process so that almost negligible amount of Human Effort isrequired and the process becomes completely safe. Review on Fabrication of Bamboo Composite Materials ReinforcedConcrete 竹材复合材料增强混凝土的研究进展

In most developing countries, steel as a reinforcing material in construction is increasing day by day. Butdepending on cost and availability, it is therefore necessary to replace the steel with some other suitable materials. There's asituation where production isn't found to be sufficient to meet steel demand. Hence, having an alternative that is worthcompared to steel is essential. Bamboo is one of the alternate materials used as a steel replacement in the construction ofsmall structures and low-cost housing, particularly in countries like India. Bamboo is found in abundance, they are durable,and they can satisfy the demand as a reinforcing material and become a perfect substitute for steels. Compared with othermaterials including steel, the tensile resistance property which is the main requirement of reinforcing material is consideredappreciable for bamboo. This property is given out from its origin through the bamboo structure. When in natural habitat,the hollow tubular structure has a high resistance to wind forces. Working on bamboo's weak points and bringing up bambooinnovation as a replacement for structural steel would be a great alternative. The goal of this present work to carry out aliterature survey to determine the feasibility of bamboo reinforcement for a concrete structure. The mechanical propertiesand behaviour of steel-reinforced concrete have been extensively studied and well documented, there is no detailed dataexplaining reinforced concrete from bamboo exists. Therefore, the aim of this study is to provide a preliminary contributiontoward the collection of literature to know the state of art characteristics such as mechanical properties and behaviours ofbamboo reinforced concrete, with a view to solving specific problems of low-cost housing

Sorption Behavior of Methylene Blue From Aqueous Solution ByUsing PVA/SA/Kaolin Composite PVA/SA/高岭土复合材料对水溶液中亚甲基蓝的吸附行为

This research shows a method of elimination of methylene blue from aqueous solutionsusing PVA/SA/Kaolin Composite. The prepared was characterized by Fourier transform infra red spectroscopy (FTIR), X-Ray diffractogram (XRD), Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) and Scanning electron microscopic (SEM).Furthermore, the analyses of batch mode experiments were performed to study the experimental importantparameters such as pH, metal ion concentrations, adsorbent dosages and contact time are discussed. From theexperimental data, the adsorption isotherms are well described by Langmuir and Freundlich model, the adsorptionof methyleneblue was fitted with Freundlich isotherm confirms the physical adsorption phenomena involved in thisprocess. The kinetic parameter was correlated with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. From the results, it wasconcluded that the material of PVA/SA/Kaolin Composite is an excellent adsorbent for the removal of methyleneblue dye from aqueous solution.
