This study investigated the relationship between underwriting operations and the performance of non-life insurance firms in Nigeria. Specifically, the study examined the combined metrics of claim ratio, insurance premium, and re-insurance claims on the return on assets using the non-life insurance firms as bases in Nigeria. The study engaged data within the period of 2011-2020 extracted from the financial statements of five selected non-life insurance firms and analysis of data was conducted with a panel regression procedure. The result showed that insurance premium had a positive significant effect on return on asset, while re-insurance claim and claim ratio had positive but insignificant effect on return on asset. Therefore, this study concluded that underwriting operations contribute to the performance of non-life insurance firms in Nigeria. Hence, this study recommended that non-life insurance firms should put more effort into harnessing strategies and resources that enhances insurance premium in order to improve financial performance.

Research looks at the effect of the #pilahsampah campaign on Instagram on the intention to sort plastic waste in adolescents. The #pilahsampah campaign includes information on Instagram media about waste sorting. Experimental design study with 74 adolescent participants from DKI Jakarta with an age range of 19-23 years. Intention to sort waste was measured using a questionnaire developed by researchers based on the ATCT intention criteria theory (Action, target, context, and time) by Fishbein and Ajzen (2005). The results based on the analysis of the Independent T Test showed that in the post-test of the experimental group there were differences from the pre-test that was done previously compared to the control group (Sig.=0.00, p-value <0.05). It was concluded that the #pilahsampah campaign on Instagram had a significant influence on the intention to sort plastic waste among teenagers.

There is still limited availability of primary level school counselors, even though they play a significant role in helping primary level students grow and develop academically, socially, and emotionally. However, non-counseling teachers, such as homeroom teachers, religion teachers, and teachers of other subjects, also carry out the role of school counselors. Unfortunately, most of these teachers do not understand their ability to provide optimal counseling services. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducation in improving the understanding of non-counseling teachers regarding counseling guidance techniques and services. This quasi-experimental research with a one-group pre-test post-test design was conducted with 38 subjects selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis used the 1-tailed Wilcoxon test with JASP version 0.18.0. The results show that psychoeducation is effective in improving the understanding of counseling techniques and services among non-counseling teachers. The implications of this study can be useful for teachers, policymakers, and future researchers.

Generation Z is one of the generations that has an important role in the world of work. In addition, with the development of the world of work, employee retention is one of the main challenges faced by companies to maintain company stability and sustainability. In order to maintain high retention of generation Z employees, companies need to understand the factors that influence them to remain in the organization. One factor that can affect the retention of generation Z employees is personal growth initiative. This study aims to analyze whether there is a significant relationship between the two variables. This study involved 100 participants who were generation Z who were already working. The design of this study is correlational, the data was taken using limesurvey and analyzed by product moment correlation analysis. The analysis results showed a positive relationship between personal growth initiative and employee retention (p = -0.00) with a value of r = 0.36. This research provides a better understanding of the importance of personal growth initiatives and their relationship to employee retention.

This paper examines the relationship between Exchange rates, GDP, and Government expenditure as macroeconomic variables on the Inflation of Indonesia which is quite struggling with increased prices of goods and services as it has been a persistent problem in Indonesia for many years. In 2023, it is so far 5.47% which is above the target set by the central bank of Indonesia of 2-4%. With the data taken from World Bank and IMF, the methodology consists of stationarity check, Cointegration analysis, and Error Correction Model to identify the long-run nexus among variables. The estimation result found that GDP is positively correlated with Inflation, Exchange rate is positively correlated with mild effects on inflation and government expenditure is negatively correlated with Inflation.

The study analyzed financial management practices and controlling mechanisms for financial management challenges and issues in religious congregations, specifically the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary Congregation. The study was based on a questionnaire survey sent to 305 respondents among the religious sisters. Weighted mean and the Spearman rho coefficient values were applied in the statistical processing of the data. The results showed a significant positive relationship between financial management practices and the controlling mechanisms for financial management challenges and issues, suggesting that a lack of control mechanisms could lead to the possibility of fraud. The study suggests that good financial management practices impact management resources and decision-making. The study highlights the importance of financial management practices for non-profit organizations, as they can be prone to financial challenges and issues due to lack of resources or mismanagement and its effectiveness is crucial for the sustainability, growth, and impact of the organization.

This study aims to see the correlation between self-regulated learning and goal orientation among students of the humanities faculty of University X in the pandemic era. The study used correlational quantitative methods with 70 participants who were given two measuring scales in the form of a google form questionnaire. The first measuring scale uses a scale compiled by Budi Sulaeman as a BINUS Psychology lecturer based on the self- regulation cycle proposed by Zimmerman (in Susetyo & Kumara, 2012) to measure self-regulated learning and a measuring scale modified by Rono J (2012) based on goal orientation theory. to measure goal orientation. Using pearson correlation analysis, show that self-regulated learning has a positive and significantly correlation with goal orientation (r = 0.730, p < .001), so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.
