In the most general sense, architecture is about limiting space and giving functionality. However, although the art of sculpture has preserved its original existence since ancient times, it has also been associated with architecture in many periods. It is seen that the boundaries between architecture and sculpture begin to disappear with the area they are located in. Modernity has brought with it many innovations, both architecture and sculpture disciplines have undergone dizzying changes, their definitions have increased and they have entered into each other's problematic areas. It is known that architectural products are concrete expression items that are affected by physical phenomena, cultural, socio-economic conditions and concepts such as language, religion and culture. The first place a building product communicates with its environment is the building's façade. The façade serves the users and the community by creating internal and external boundaries within the overlap. The transformation of architecture, which affects people, life and the environment from the past to the present, is a long process from the transformation of the facade to the design surface, from the nomadic life to the present, shaped by technology in the information age. Today, the concept of the facade has changed and has become an interface that completely surrounds the building, without front, back, left and right. In this study, while evaluating the renovation process of architectural facades, it deals with the construction technology and aesthetic features of the buildings in the historical process and determines the breaking points. Research; It aims to evaluate the development of the façade as an interface rather than the exterior of the building and the transformation of hierarchy, design and fiction in architecture from a historical perspective. In the conclusion part, the discussions made and written at the intersection of sculpture-architecture were examined, and the design of the sculptor Seçkin Pirim on an architectural structure was examined as an example. In this direction, sculpture-architecture interactions of avant-garde and innovative artists are examined and their products are discussed.

One of the diseases that historically experienced stigma and exclusion is obesity. Today, as in many areas of life such as education, business life, health services and social life, discriminatory stigmatizing approaches are encountered in the media about obesity. This study aims to reveal the views and expectations of individuals with obesity in Turkey about the issues they are discriminated against in the media, the forms of stigmatization, and the representations of obesity in the media. In the study, focus group interview method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. 6 different focus group interviews were conducted: 15-24, 25-49, 50 years and older low income-high income. A total of 42 people, 22 women and 20 men, participated in the interviews. All of the participants have criticisms about the representation of obesity in the media. They stated that in the media contents, obesity should not be presented as a problem of willpower but as a disease, that accurate information about this disease should be included, and that beauty and aesthetic concerns should not take precedence over the causes and consequences of the disease. They believe that the media has a great role in this regard. As a result, stereotypes and stigmatizing discourses in the media imprison individuals with obesity within certain limits. Individuals with obesity define themselves as people who are labeled and stigmatized. In short, media content reinforces discrimination. It must be underlined that the contents/presentations that are used in order to raise awareness in the media reproduce discrimination. It is clear that improvement and correction in media content must occur quickly. There is a need for programs/series/movies that are free from deceptive and misleading information, that are far from a biased perspective towards individuals with obesity, and where obesity is framed with accurate information. Due to the power of the media in influencing and directing society, recognizing and changing such content in the media will make a great contribution to the understanding of the problems experienced by people living with obesity, and therefore, contribute to obesity treatments.

Especially since the beginning of the pandemic period, millions of people with low and middle incomes are experiencing significant problems due to the rapid increase in real estate prices worldwide. Therefore, they have to allocate a significant portion of their income to rent or housing loans. The price of renting and purchasing a home is increasing faster than the average family income. Many of the 17 SDGs and 169 related objectives have a greater connection to housing than others. Governments should provide an environment where all individuals have access to adequate and affordable housing in socially, economically and ecologically sustainable communities, and where everyone can reach their full potential, through policies that support the Sustainable Development Goals. This study proposes a new and original integrated approach consisting of cluster analysis and multi-criteria decision-making methods to systematically analyze indicators and compare the performance of housing affordability and property prices in cities. After determining the indicator weights objectively with the Critic method, 60 cities from 25 countries are compared with TOPSIS, VIKOR, PROMETHEE I-II, ARAS, COPRAS, ELECTRE, SAW and MAUT methods. Also, a general common ranking was obtained with the Borda Count Method. In addition, evaluations and comparisons are made in terms of countries and cities.

This study is about Lagaan, which is one of the top Bollywood film industries of world cinema. The movie has been inspired by the football match between Mohun Bagan and the British in 1911. Besides being one of the best examples reflecting the struggle for independence, it has concerned great attention from the audience as it also has involved the socio-economic and socio-cultural difficulties experienced by the Indian society. It has been determined that this event, inspired by historical reality, has brought some changes to time, place and people by preserving the skeletal structure. In this study, the similarities and differences between the historical event and the new narrative brought to the gray screen has been tried to be explained. This comparison has allowed us to understand the reasons for the current changes. The adapted film, on the other hand, has been tried to be evaluated with a thirty-one-item morphological analysis method which the Russian folklorist Vladimir Yakovlevich Propp, who is known for his valuable contributions to the field of folklore, reveals the structure of the narratives. Based on the analysis of the film with the morphological method, the article draws attention to the fact that cinema culture, especially socialist realistic cinema, often feeds/can be fed by events inspired by historical reality.

The Chinese thinker Zhuangzi (369-286 BC), who is an important representative of Taoist thought, conveys his philosophy through anecdotes and stories. He made important contributions to the literary literature of the period, as well as to the philosophical thought that developed in the "Pre-Qin" (before 221 BC). The most striking feature of the Zhuangzi’s texts, which also played an influential role in the development history of literature in China; are the technique of irony and the art of satire that come to the fore in his sentences and add originality to the stories. The thinker brought a new perspective to the traditional literary style of the period by presenting his views on society and life, his philosophy of life, social and political criticisms with satirical sentences and even serious propositions in a mocking style. In this study, the art of satire, which constitutes an important part of the literary success of the Zhuangzi texts and adds artistic appeal to the texts, will be evaluated in terms of both content and technique through sample anecdotes; it will be tried to introduce the critical Zhuangzi style, which contributes to the reading of the stories with interest even today by being transmitted throughout the ages.

In this study, which is placed in the framework of the ethnographic field, experience and music, the basic approaches are revealed by making use of the methodological and theoretical knowledge of ethnomusicology, anthropology and social sciences. The decisiveness of the meanings attributed to the ethnographic field on the cultural analysis has been presented with an interdisciplinary approach, and the scientific perspectives that differ and change in the historical process are emphasized. In the field studies, the changing aspects of the ethnographic field according to the aims and conditions are explained both through music studies and the techniques adopted in qualitative research. During the course of the study, many sources based on the theoretical and methodological ethnographic researches are scanned and the data obtained are interpreted with a descriptive character.
