LEC-TMAC: Improving Energy Consumption & Latency in TMAC Protocol for Wireless Body Area Network LEC-TMAC:改进无线体域网络TMAC协议的能耗和延迟

The most common protocols for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) like TMAC, ZigBeeMAC, Baseline MAC protocol .In this paper, evaluating the effects of LEC-TMAC Protocol wireless body area network basis of Latency and energy consumption. This analysis is important in point of view that the varying requirement of WBAN according to varying conditions. In LEC-TMAC, the application packet rate of nodes a considerable effect is observed on latency and energy consumption for MAC protocols that is presented in the paper. As a conclusion, we invoke a number of new research challenges with regard to prospects of Wireless body area network and other issues.

Hybrid Encryption Algorithm Based on Spatial and Gray Level Information 基于空间和灰度信息的混合加密算法

Based on the analysis of the defect of traditional image scrambling methods, a new hybrid scrambling algorithm is proposed. It uses image’s spatial and gray level information. Comparative experiments show it has the advantages of easy implementation, large key space, and good scrambling effect by only one time scrambling instead of many times processing.
在分析传统图像置乱方法缺陷的基础上,提出了一种新的混合置乱算法。它利用图像的空间和灰度信息。对比实验表明,该算法实现简单,密钥空间大,只需一次置乱即可代替多次置乱,置乱效果好。

Today using evolutionary programing for solving complex, nonlinear mathematical problems like optimum power flow is commonly in use. These types of problems are naturally nonlinear and the conventional mathematical methods aren’t powerful enough for achieving the desirable results. In this study an Optimum Power Flow problem solved by means of minimization of fuel costs for IEEE 30 buses test system by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Honey Bee Mating Optimization (HBMO) and Shuffle Frog Leaping Algorithm (SFLA), these algorithms has been used in MATLAB medium with help of MATHPOWER to achieving more precise results and comparing these results with the other proposed results in other published papers.

Providing Authentication by Using Biometric Multimodal Framework for Cloud Computing 利用生物识别多模态框架为云计算提供身份验证

Secret knowledge, like remembering password or token based authentication systems are deemed inconvenience and difficult to use for users such as password may be forgotten or token may be lost. So burdens like remembering password and stolen or forged token based authentication have raised a current trend of biometric authentication system. Now in this current tech world, everyone needs security everywhere to protect our personal gadgets.  So to keep it secured, biometric based approach can be applied for better convenience and ease of use for the user. In this paper, a novel hybrid multimodal approach for ear recognition and finger print recognition has been presented for better robustness and efficiency which can be applied in various fields of applications like authentication in banking transactions. Biometric based human recognition is rapidly gaining popularity due to breached of traditional security systems and the lowering cost of sensors. This paper comprehensively reviews multimodal recognition using ear pattern and finger print data, it is concluded that further research should investigate fast and fully automatic ear-finger print multimodal systems robust to occlusions and deformations.

An Advanced Robust AVR-PSS Based H2 and H∞ Frequency Approachs Simulated Under a Realized GUI 基于H2和H∞频率方法的先进稳健AVR-PSS在已实现GUI下的仿真

This article present a comparative study between two advanced robust frequency control strategies and their implementation using our realised Graphical User Interface ‘GUI’ under MATLAB software: the first method based on loop-shaping H∞ optimization technique and the second on robust H2 control method (LQG controller associated with KALMAN filter), and applied on automatic excitation control of synchronous generators, to improve transient stability and robustness of a single machine- infinite bus (SMIB) system operating in different several conditions. The computer simulation results (static and dynamic stability), with test of robustness against machine parameters uncertainty (electric and mechanic), have proved that good dynamic performances, showing a stable system responses almost insensitive to large parameters variations, and more robustness using robust H∞ controller in comparison with H2 approach by exploiting our developed GUI interface in this work.

Cyber Security Threats in Synchrophasor System in Wide Area Monitoring System 广域监控系统中同步相量系统的网络安全威胁

Cyber security has become a critical priority for electric utilities. With the increase in the use of intelligent measuring devices like PMUs and more advanced communications and information technology in smart grid, the overall attack surface has increased. Cyber attacks against synchrophasor system critical infrastructure are detrimental to the functioning of the society as a whole. This paper presents the latest on cyber security of synchrophasor system in smart grid, specifically; it focuses on the deep understanding of the risk in terms of threats, vulnerabilities and consequences that arise from cyber attacks. Since the research on cyber security for the smart grid is still in its early stage, our objective is to provide an overview, analyze potential cyber security threats, and review existing security solutions in the Wide Area Monitoring System.

A Novel Approach for Design and Analysis of Voltage-Controlled DSTATCOM for Power Quality Enhancement 一种提高电压控制DSTATCOM电能质量的设计与分析新方法

The Power quality fluctuations of the distributed power system show a serious impact on the robust and sustainable operation of the distributed power system. These power quality fluctuations may be caused due to several reasons like leakage, faults and ageing of the lines. This project proposes a new algorithm to generate reference voltage for a controlled mode distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) operating in voltage-control mode. The proposed scheme exhibits several advantages compared to traditional voltage-controlled DSTATCOM where the reference voltage is arbitrarily taken as 1.0 p.u. The proposed scheme ensures that unity power factor (UPF) is achieved, while regulating the voltage at the load terminal, during load change, which is not possible in the traditional method. Also, the compensator injects lower currents and, therefore, reduces losses in the feeder and voltage-source inverter. This scheme allows DSTATCOM to tackle power-quality issues by providing power factor correction, harmonic elimination, load balancing, and voltage regulation based on the load requirement.  Simulation and experimental results are presented to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed algorithm.

Resonance Characteristics and Effective Parameters of New Left Hand Metamaterial 新型左手超材料的共振特性及有效参数

It is essential to alter effective electromagnetic parameters of a material to enhance its response. In the present work, we propose a novel Left Hand Metamaterial (LHM) structure comprising dual turn spiral resonator (DTSR) and capacitance loaded strips (CLS). This structure is numerically explored to examine the resonance and effective material parameters i.e. permeability and permittivity. The negative refraction in the unit cell is confirmed with identification of double negative region (negative permittivity, ε and negative permeability, µ ) on placing the unit cell in a waveguide with well defined Perfect Electric Conduction/Perfect Magnetic Conduction boundary conditions.

In the present work, we propose a novel Left Hand Metamaterial (LHM) structure comprising dual turn spiral resonator (DTSR) and capacitance loaded strips (CLS). This structure is numerically explored to examine the resonance and effective material parameters i.e. permeability and permittivity. A Developed Graphical User Interface for Power System Stability and Robustness Studies 电力系统稳定性和鲁棒性研究的图形用户界面开发

This paper present the realization and development of a graphical user interface (GUI) to studied the stability and robustness of power systems (analysis and synthesis), using Conventional Power System Stabilizers (CPSS - realized on PID scheme) or advanced controllers (based on adaptive and robust control), and applied on automatic excitation control of powerful synchronous generators, to improve dynamic performances and robustness. The GUI is a useful average to facilitate stability study of power system with the analysis and synthesis of regulators, and resolution of the compromise: results precision / calculation speed. The obtained Simulation results exploiting our developed GUI realized under MATLAB shown considerable improvements in static and dynamic performances, a great stability and enhancing the robustness of power system, with best precision and minimum operating time. This study was performed for different types of powerful synchronous generators.

An Approach to Implement Cost Efficient Space Detection Technology with Lower Complexity for Smart Parking System 一种实现低复杂度、低成本的智能停车系统空间检测技术的方法

As the population of world is growing day by day, there is a rapid increment in the vehicle production. With the increase in number of the vehicles, more parking spaces and efficient ways of parking are required. In the proposed system, a new and cost efficient way of finding the free spaces in parking lot is proposed and also different space detection technologies are compared. This system will be helpful for the drivers in finding the vacant spaces in the car parking lots using a simple technology in which a balloon will be used to determine the vacant parking spaces. Since this technology is cost efficient and effective,this system is termed as smart parking system.
随着世界人口的日益增长,汽车的产量也在快速增长。随着车辆数量的增加,需要更多的停车位和高效的停车方式。在该系统中,提出了一种新的、经济有效的寻找停车场空闲空间的方法,并对不同的空间检测技术进行了比较。该系统采用了一种简单的技术,即利用气球来确定空余的停车位,从而帮助司机在停车场找到空位。由于该技术具有成本效益和有效性,因此该系统被称为智能停车系统。
