The past decade within Bosnia and Herzegovina and thus in the Sarajevo Canton has shown that tourism has become a significant segment of the economy with a pronounced constant positive growth. He is one of the most important trump cards in economic development and positive recognition of the Sarajevo Canton and thus the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The paper analyzes the current state of sports and recreational tourism in Sarajevo Canton in the period from 2011 to 2021 and its possibilities through the sports and tourism offer. The research covered the administrative borders of Sarajevo Canton, which consists of 9 municipalities: Centar, Hadžići, Ilidža, Ilijaš, Novi Grad, Novo Sarajevo, Stari Grad, Trnovo and Vogošća. The paper analyzes the number of registered business entities (tourist units), the number of tourist arrivals (countries from which tourists come and by months of the year), the number of overnight stays, tourist arrivals individually or organized, the analysis of sports facilities and infrastructure for sports and tourism offer (mountaineering, sport climbing, athletic stadiums, swimming pools, bike and mountain bike trails, sports halls, golf courses, mountain walking trails, racetracks (equestrian sports), skating rinks, football stadiums and football fields, ski lifts, ski lifts, snowboard, point and toboggan runs, cross-country skiing, tennis courts). For the purposes of this research, a combination of: primary field research related to the state of sports facilities and sports infrastructure in the Sarajevo Canton as well as a secondary method of data collection through available official data, databases and reports of relevant public, private institutions, media, sports associations. By analyzing the situation and the results we have obtained, we can determine the direction for the development and expansion of services in terms of sports and recreational tourism in Sarajevo Canton. This does not require large investments, especially in the rural parts of Sarajevo Canton, which has all the benefits for further development of sports and recreational forms of offer in the direction of hiking, mountaineering, cycling, running, alpine, touring and Nordic skiing. Sarajevo Canton with its sports and competitive heritage as well as the existing specific sports infrastructure and facilities provide a great opportunity for tourism development and positive recognition of the Canton and the city of Sarajevo. Keywords: Seasonality, sports facilities, sports infrastructure, sports and recreational services and sports programs.

The aim of the study was to assess gross motor skills between boys and girls of preschool and primary school age. The study included a total sample of 83 respondents (49.3% boys) with an average chronological age of 6.14 ± 2.25 years. The Test of Gross Motor Development–3rd Edition (TGMD-3) was used to verify the set research goal. Research data were analyzed by the method of parametrical statistics. To determine the differences in gross motor skills between boys and girls, t-test was used for an independent sample of respondents. Based on the obtained research results, it can be concluded that there are no statistically significant differences between boys and girls on the locomotor and “Ball skills” subtest. Although no statistically significant differences were recorded, generally, boys achieve better results on the subtest “Ball skills” compared to girls. It is suggested that intervention programs be designed to improve girls' performance in ball skills. Key words: Children, TGMD-3, Locomotor, Ball skills, Gender.

The goal of this research is to evaluate the effects of applied kinesiological activities of different extensions on the transformation of basal-motor abilities of boys. The sample of respondents is represented by boys, students of VII, VIII and IX grades of primary school. „21. March "Matuzići - Doboj South. The total sample consists of a set of 76 respondents classified into three distinct groups. Based on the boys' statements about their participation in everyday physical activities, groups with the numbering were defined through non-athletes: non-athletes-1, recreational athletes-2 and athletes-3. To assess the basic motor skills of the respondents, the variables according to the Eurofit battery test program were used, as follows: Flamingo balance, endurance in the joint, lying-sitting, running 10 × 5m (back and forth), hand tapping, hand dynamometry, flexibility-mobility at the hip joint, jumping away from the spot and running 20m back and forth with progressive acceleration. The results of univariate covariance analysis showed high significance in endurance assessment tests (SHATL 20 and SHATL 10 × 5), followed by static arm strength (MSSIZG), and hand strength (MSSDIN) and torso flexibility (MFLPRK) and balance (MRFLAM). Statistically significant differences in effects did not occur with the three variables, namely hand tapping ( MBFTAR), long jump (MESSDM) or squat-sitting (MRSLSJ). Aging is a sensitive and important period of human life and paying attention to the issues and needs of this stage is a social necessity and since attending sports activities is considered as an important context in the life of the elderly. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of exercise on the quality of life of sedentary elderly. This research is a descriptive and cross-sectional work that was done with a valid and standard quality of life questionnaire SF-36. Descriptive and inferential tests were used to analyze the data. SPSS software was used for data analysis in this study. The results showed that there was a significant difference between quality of life scales of sedentary elderly and active elderly (P˂0.05). The average result of the assessment of the quality of life of active elderly people is 71.24, and that of sedentary elderly people is 48.07. According to the findings, participation in physical activities improves the quality of life of the elderly. Officials and policy makers should plan and implement policies in order to raise the level of physical activity as an influential variable on the quality of life of elderly. Growth and development are indicators of good health, as well as a mirror of quality nutrition and quality of life. By monitoring growth and development, the relationship between motor abilities and morphological characteristics is recognized. The period of younger school age is characterized by strong growth and development of all anthropological dimensions, especially morphological and motor ones, which differ significantly in children, concerning adults. This transversal research aimed to determine the differences in morphological characteristics and motor abilities between lower primary school students. The research was conducted on a sample of 1233 girls, I - IV grades of primary schools from the area of the City of Tuzla. The sample of variables consisted of a set of 10 tests to assess certain anthropological dimensions (5 morphological and 5 motors), appropriate to the age of the study population. Univariate analysis of variance with multiple comparisons was used to determine the differences in the studied spaces between students of different grades, with the applied post hock Bonferroni test. The obtained results showed that there are statistically significant differences in all applied variables (morphological and motor). between treated groups at the level of significance (p≤0.05). The results of the research draw attention to the importance of early stimulation of morphological-motor development and a healthy lifestyle in female students, which are characterized by regular physical activity and a healthy diet. Optimal levels of motor skills, well-developed fundamental motor skills and a healthy body structure are of great importance for health, quality of life-related to health and overall well-being of younger school-age students.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the use of transition pick and roll/pop and transition post-up maneuvers in two top teams from the EuroLeague basketball (first placed and ninth placed teams in the 2019/2020 season). Methods. The sample of respondents consisted of 56 EuroLeague basketball games played by teams Anadolu Efes Istanbul (28) and Zalgiris Kaunas (28), the ANA team and the ZALAG team respectively. Variables for estimating transition offenses were collected during EuroLeague senior basketball matches. A total of 16 variables (Toff_tot, TP&R/P_tot, TP&R/P_suc, TP&R/P_uns, %suc P&R/P, %uns P&R/P, TP_up_tot, TP_up_suc, P_up_uns, %suc P_up, %uns_ P_up, TO, % TO, Toff_point, TP&R/P_point; and Tpup_point) were assessed to estimate transitional offenses in teams that use early pick and post-up maneuvers in their performance. Results. Findings showed statistically significant differences between two analyzed teams in variables as described further in the text. The ANA team performed less TP &
